Flux Gourmet is an excellent movie in terms of the idea, but the execution is lousy. Creating a show with the sound of cooking is an exciting idea. But the process is incredibly dull. The most significant disadvantage is that the genre is described as horror.

Flux Gourmet is billed as "not for everyone," but also as a genius satirical black comedy. I am in the "everyone" category. This film is very pleased with itself for being so smart and funny. I couldn't tell what was supposed to be funny and what was supposed to be serious; most of the time I was trying to understand what the flip people were talking about. By the end I was intensely bored. If I were younger, I think i would have loved it because it made people bored and confused, but alas, I am the bored and confused one.
