The Breakfast Club meets Rear Window. The result should satisfy dating crowds from high school to night school.

Caruso, a very visual director, serves up some surprises and scares, and he's paced his movie briskly. You're out of this disturbing suburbia before you know it, shaken and even stirred.

Um suspense de terror incrível Shia LaBeoulf é extraodinário. David Morse faz um ótimo psicopata. Super Envolvente uma simples prisão domiciliar, acaba num pesadelo maior.

Though it's not likely to become a classic like the Hitchcock film, it's a smart and well-acted teen thriller that serves up some lively scares.

Squirmingly fun suspenser that brings Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" into the era of vidcams and cell phones, serving up hearty, youth-skewing portions of PG-13 violence and bikini-bait along the way.

A nice little mystery thriller that takes a wrong turn on the way to its climax and morphs into a slasher movie.

There are a few decent jolts in Disturbia, but overall this ultra-predictable thriller doesn't live up to the hype.

What the new movie lacks in craft, suspense and metaphoric richness it makes up for with, um, gadgets.

I really didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. Apart from the really good script and all the suspense and "oh crap, they're dead" moments, something about this movie brought me back to when I was still in high-school..... minus the hot chick and the suspected serial killer neighbor. Disturbia is pretty funny when it wants to be, and pretty damn serious when it has to be.

Disturbia is a remake of Alfred classic, Rear Window. When there is 50+ years in-between the original and the re-make you know it's going to be so different, that they are hardly the same movie anymore. The only similarity in fact, is spying on a neighbor whom the lead suspects is a serial killer. Shia LaBeouf shines in what is his first major leading role. Right from the beginning you can see how likeable he is on film, destine for ****. David Morse is also great as the neighbor. Morse is always very intense and makes every movie he is in that much better, he is an extremely underrated supporting actor. The story is strong, the cast is strong, and I can guarantee you will be on the edge of your seat, this is a good one!

Remake of the classic hitchock movie rear window. Shia is engaging as a 'teenager' in this thriller / teen movie. Unfortunately the production plays it safe here with a reluctance in the edit to allow the tension to build to a substantial enough level to ever truly make the viewer feel the discomfort of the characters here.... Certainly not an unwatchable film, you can safely file this one under 'missed opportunity'.

The movie focuses a little too much on the incredibly fast paced 'romance' between our two leads. It adds nothing and was probably something Shia got written in to his contract to seal the deal. When the movie does focus on the mystery, conspiracy and tension it is very good and will leave you wanting more... however it then finishes to a pretty weird and perverse ending. Typical eh.

Disturbia is a tense movie for what it is. None of the characters add anything to the film. A movie that is good, nothing more, nothing less and very forgettable.
