XDefiant prometía ser un nuevo COD y honestamente es un buen intento. Este juego es muy divertido el sistema de movimiento no tiene nada que envidiar a sus competidores de pago, la selección de personaje se siente muy bien con opciones muy distintas a las que vemos en otros juegos pese a las típicas clases "support" las clases cuentan con habilidades muy entretenidas y muy bien implementadas en el gameplay sin haber ninguna especialmente op. Por otro lado los gráficos son buenos en la linea de los free to play y la estética aunque no original se ve muy bien. Las armas están bien balanceadas y las skins pese a no ser un tema de mi gusto son bonitas. Entonces porque este juego se queda en un intento de COD o similares si es divertido. La razón es más que sencilla, es divertido lo poco que dura, poca variedad de armas solo 2 modos de juego entretenidos y conseguir la maestría en las mismas es muy fácil. En general parece que está sin acabar Ubisoft una vez más ha sacado un producto incompleto que con unos pocos meses más de desarrollo podría competir con buenos juegos. En resumen un juego divertido que merece la pena probar pero que debes tener en cuenta que se te acaba la diversión rápido.

I am not done with you Ubisoft. This game was also available for free on PC, so that entitles me to review this game one more time. Now, I am not upset that the game is shutting down. When a game is online only, that means the developers could shut it down at any moment and therefore becoming unplayable, I know the consequences. I didn't spend a single penny on this game and I was bored of this trash anyways, so the game shutting down is no skin off my nose. But this game is getting shut down way too early. There's a bunch of no-name, free-to-play online games that lasted way longer than this trash. Ubisoft has enough money to keep this garbage going for at least 5 years. When BO6 came out, it took like a month for Ubisoft to announce the shut down of XDefiant. They refused to give refunds to those who bought MTX in the last 30 days, which coincides with the launch of BO6. So now it's apparent that this game was planned to shut down when the greedy devs stop making money, and BO6 caused that. There was never any intention to keep this game going, they just wanted to take the money and run. ● And I should've known that the greedy devs wanted to do this in the first place. That explains why they didn't release the game on Steam or any other third-party platform, because they planned to kill this game once they got the money they wanted. Well at least I know what to keep in mind next time. If an online game is only in the publisher's website and not on Steam or Epic Games Store, then they have no intention to keep the game alive once they lose some steam, no pun intended. Because I don't see any other reason to kill this game off instantly, unless they were using dedictated servers. Well I thought this game was using P2P servers, because of how bad the netcode was. If this game does indeed use dedicated servers, well that just proves how pointless they are. Might as well go with P2P because whatever problems exist within P2P servers are also present in dedicated servers. This game is 6v6, it doesn't need dedicated servers. Who the hell asked for dedicated servers other than toy-collecting millennials? I cannot tell the difference between P2P and dedicated servers, so don't you dare waste money on something that only nerds ask for.

From the first alpha they already had something decent, but they didn't take into account any of the feedback and preferred to let the game die.

Juego que apuntaba a mucho y se quedó en que van a cerrar ya los servers. Una pena por la fluidez de las partidas y todo en general pero el SBMM y los frikis rompieron el juego.

I really wanted to like this game, but without proper SBMM this game is doomed to fail. Technically speaking, there is SBMM, but only up until level 20 or 40. The games I played with SBMM were A LOT of fun and I even thought I'd play it instead of COD. Well, I tried a match without SBMM and got instantly destroyed. Just to be clear, I'm a guy in my 40s with a **** ton of disposable income. I can buy anything and everything they offer at the store, but I've already uninstalled it and never playing this game again. Ubi - I know you're stupid and you're not Activision. You don't have their numbers and you don't have their SBMM. Your SBMM works well, but it takes WAY too long. You need to add BOTS for people like me. Match me to a few real players of my level and fill in the rest with BOTS, so I can have fun and level up. You ALWAYS need to cater to a casual player, there are hundreds of millions of casuals and only hundreds of "good" players. I say - get rid of ALL of your full-time players - stick them ALL together in their own matches and leave all casual, rich players to have fun and pay your bills. Those try-hard players will NEVER pay your bills - EVER. They are all BROKE - that's why they sit on their asses and play video games all day long. They don't even have a job to pay for your pass. Activision figured it out and they are making billions with just ONE game - you guys are a dollar away from bankruptcy.

very good game when it was released it lacked content but now we see the evolution. I gave him a second chance I don't regret it

Worst multiplayer game I've ever played. The matchmaking is garbage, even as level 1, I got matched with high level players, and it happens every single time and the game won't tell **** about anything, so you are basically stuck in the beginning. Uninstalled this garbage after trying for 2 days and this **** not even worth it, if you're a beginner in multiplayer FPS games.

No point in giving any positive review to a game that was abandoned by its developers. Ubisoft doesn't even try banning hackers. Bans are NON EXISTENT. In every match there is a high level player using wallhack and/or aimbot. Report system is a fake.

This game does not offer anything different from what we already hace. It's no better than CoD and Overwatch or most of shooters available. Not recommended

The game is like a game, they wanted to do something like Battelfield and it didn't work out, the weapons **** and the loading of players in ranked mode is a failure brozna 1 loads with gold 5 a joke and the autoaim on the console is a failure, fix it, then I'll give it a 10

The best game that defines what through-wall bullets are & how your soul can revenge you after your death

sure would be nice to have a game where bullets don't kill you after you turned the corner. Or how inconsistent the shots are. Enemy can be short distance away, one shot center with a shotgun. Another time same distance center, it takes three on same enemy type. Not to mention the bunny hopping. You will be spawned camped, your teammates will block you from cover. Every corner a enemy goes by they will get the drop on you from a bunny hop. Don't waste your time with this game, it will be dead in a very short while.

This should have been the best fast paced FPS in a long time. It would have been fantastic for both casuals and competitive if Ubisoft wasn't so junk. It really **** that this game didn't reach it's potential. If it was given the love and care it deserves no one would care about call of duty. They completely fumbled this game - it's tremendous at the most important things. Movement feels excellent aside from the weird bunnyhopping, TTK is great, gunplay is fantastic, and the map design is 10/10. Weapon balance is great aside from a few overpowered weapons and a few that just **** - AK47 vs RPK for example. But its absolutely terrible at all the secondary things - and that really detracts from the game. Most modern FPS are just bad by design. Xdefiant is bad because they havent managed it properly. Netcode is absolutely rubbish. Hit detection is bad, there's constant kill trading and hit markers with no damage. But the worst is how often you're shot when you're run into cover, or when someone shoots you before you can see them. The desync is so **** bad for a game in 2024. Most of the ability design is cheesy and annoying. The spiderbot is F tier design. Almost every ability and ultimate is cheap, cringe, requires no skill and is often uncounterable. Every gun in the game has an objective 'best' loadout - which uses exactly the same attachments for almost every weapon. A lot of the gamemodes are great, but a lot arent. The ranked experience is just 0 effort, it's not even worth thinking about. Matchmaking often takes 10+ minutes for me to find a game in Aus. The faction system in theory is fine - but the design is horrible, and horribly balanced. One faction receives reduced headshot damage, and the other just gets more hp...

Fun and has potential but the net code is awful. If you want to make an enjoyable multiplayer fps the please make sure you will have great net code. Delay and getting hit markers but no damage is undescribably frustrating. Other that net code issues I really think that more focus should be put on weapon and faction balancing. Half of the factions have overpowered skills while the other half simply isn't viable.

i havent played yet but this game is awful, its so laggy and i cant win the matches,the characters are so unballenced especialy the green one with the gogles. i HATE XDefiant with a passion and i will refuse to play any longer

I HATE HERO NON SENSE! REMOVE THAT **** FROM THE GAME! Other than that, it's a fine game. Too long of a ttk, but not a deal breaker. Heroes are a deal breaker for me. Not playing this game because of it. I'll wait and see if there are heroes in the upcoming bomb mode, if not then I'll give it another shot. If they decide to keep heroes in that mode as well, then good bye xdefiant.

Why did these strange people decide that they can make games? They know nothing about games or players. Liking for kills? They don't know what team balance is, they don't know what weapon balance is, they don't know who cheaters are, they don't know what game sound is, they don't know what network code is - half the time the bullets in my weapon are blanks. If you do decide to enter this game, be prepared to spend half or more of your time waiting - to enter a game session, to exit it. And of course, bugs. Everything is buggy.

XDefiant is your typical multiplayer shooter game with some fun abilities between the faction system to give a unique twist. It may not be the "COD Killer" it was claimed to be, but it's a solid shooter that has a lot of fun to be had.

Game is complete garbage after shotgun buff mp7 nerf? Bunny hopping spammers breaking net code and hit reg is trash.Game rewards no skill players with hopping around getting one shot kills without aiming. games are all lopsided. There is no competitive games at all. You either crush or get crushed. What is the fun in that?

Great game. The team are dedicated to giving players what they want. There is no skillbased or engagement based matchmaking (sbmm or eomm) past player level 25, in casual playlists. But there is team balancing. This basically means that you will be put into games with a variety of different skilled players. Rather than more or less all other modern games, where every player in your games, plays a similar way, XDefiant also has 0 p2w, and a decent amount of content you can get for free. Battle pass also gives you enough coins to purchase the next one. The gun balancing is excellent since the latest update. With everything having its own place in the game. The netcode is getting way better with updates. With me rarely getting killed round corners any more. This is currently my favourite arena shooter on the market. I am looking forward to more updates from the team. Highly recommend giving this game a go. It might be hard if you haven't played many arena shooters, since there is no sbmm. But keep trying and you will get better.

1 game you get great bullet recognition and the next half your magazine is emptied with 0 damage but get a weird icon instead of red dot when it happens. And the amount of times you trade with someone on kill/be killed is crazy. And u get your ultra 1 time a match if your lucky..

Skill based matchmaking my a**. Also, the shooting with almost everything gives me the same feeling as Siege's Hit Rejected message. Generally, it's a good idea from Ubi, but needs way more balancing.

Not sure why people hate on this game, its literally black ops 3 multiplayer without stupid parkour and the gameplay is crisper than any other FPS ive played since MW2019. Not to mention its FREE

The gameplay is really promising and this game really give me ghost recon phantoms vibes I really loved that **** major issues with the game are server lag, matchmaking and broken guns people can shot you dead behind the walls and why my teammates can select same class as me? You should only be able to select one there should not be 6 phantoms or other factions in same team. The game feels dead, it always taks me 5-10 mins to find match.

Do you love getting shot behind walls? Do you love other shooter games that have the exact same features but work better? Do you love when people leave your game after their first death and you have to either leave or fight 3v6? If the answer is yes, you're gonna love this game. Ignore ping and remember the best of early 2000s netcode while dying over and over behind cover, 2 or 3 steps out of sight, a second after crouching and so on. The shooting is ok, the graphics are outdated but a multiplayer game that can't be played properly with other players is just rubbish. There's no way that a game that's been out for a couple months already still have these netcode issues and that nobody tested the game in anything other than a 2ms ping room next to the server. This could be a decent shooter to compete with other free shooters out there but it's just unplayable unless you have the server advantage, then enjoy the other dozen flaws that make it "like ----- but worse" Fixing the multiplayer will make this game a solid 6, adding less predatory microtransactions will make it a 7 and improving graphics from ps4 to ps4 pro level will make it a solid 7.5. Probably waste your time somewhere else.

I'll admit that the game play itself is pretty fun. Unfortunately, almost everything else ruins that fun. Hackers, awful net-code, connection issues, unbalanced weapons and skills, overpriced micro-transactions for vastly unappealing cosmetics, and the factions are all just so lame. Why does every shooter these days try and add some sort of hero aspect to it? And, while using their other IPs is an interesting idea for factions and whatnot, they all look terrible. So many baffling, questionable decisions here, as there is in so much popular media these days.

The game has really bad servers, it's difficult to find a game and play it until the end

Its too hard to have a decent **** seems 2 rounds kill you but the other fools are jumping,running and landing headshots. you've got no chance against the sweaties. total bs game. avoid. Also there are not enough players to make even matches.

Pretty unbalanced game. I have reached level 25, and ever since that the game is unplayable

Let me start off by stating that that my level one tac-50 granted me a large multi-kill not no knowledge or effort. On the other hand I hit a guy 5 times in the forehead and lost the duel to his weaker gun aimed at my knee cap. This game is immeasurably awful, as if it was make from dental floss and toothpicks.

Good if you want to know where you stand in the shooting pecking order. Gameplay feels good, however it needs further updates and optimization. I don't know if it needs the abilities though. Nevertheless, had more fun than pre season so they're doing a great job. No guns locked behind paid battlepass, so only the premium guys can get all the unlocks faster, which is fair imo.

Games actually pretty fun, but on PC its unplayable. Game crashes a lot even on highend pcs, bugs,blackscreens,hackers (less than before so we move) Some effects needs tweaks, but its not fun to play when you spent 30 minutes from an hour to restart the game.

It's a fine multi-player shooter. I like that Ubisoft isusing their brands and IP a bit here but they all look pretty similar which makes it hard to know what you're playing against

Always amazes me how people find ways to sweat. Spawns are at least better than MW2/MW3 which allows spawn killing but in no way a COD killer, and I don't even like MW2/MW3. No SBMM? Highly, highly doubt. Lying ass devs. Long ass loading screens, long ass transitions between lobby, loading, gameplay loading, countdown to match. Worst character design and models, P2W class unlocks. Low effort recolor skins. Obvious cheats, sweats, and no public chat. This is Uglysoft's worst game, more to come.

le jeux est niquel sauf pour le matchmaking totalement absent. du coup passer le level 25, level au-delà duquel vous vous retrouvé confronté à tous les joueurs de tous les niveaux et du coup vous passer votre temps à vous faire exploser en boucle. totalement injouable et injuste passé le level 25 dommage car j'avais vraiment accroché avant le cap fatidique. bref ca a voulus faire une alternative a CoD et au final préféré l'original.

Sur le papier sympa, dans les fait, c'est du ubisoft, un hitreg au fraises, c'est une aberration, ils ont plus été réactif pour rajouter du contenu que de fix les problèmes du lancement tel que les cheaters même pas après une semaine de general release, à voir quand la majorités des problèmes seront fix.

The problem with this is: It suffers from one unfixable problem, that is, it's a ubisoft game - it looks like a mobile game and plays like it.

It's definitely admirable that Ubisoft are trying to create a serious COD competitor in XDefiant and I hope they keep at it, but between the general "discount COD" feel, constant jitter on my system (regardless of if DX11 or DX12 is enabled) & the lacking movement compared to Modern Warfare III, I just can't play this game any longer when I can just play MWIII instead. Again, I hope Ubisoft San Francisco can keep up the solid community engagement & responsiveness they've shown thus far and make this an even better COD alternative. Competition is always good for the consumer and COD having a strong, great competitor in XDefiant will only make COD better. But (for me at least), MWIII is the better multiplayer game & I can't imagine that Black Ops 6 will be worse either. Maybe if this had managed to enter full release before MWIII came out, I'd be more willing to overlook more of XDefiant's shortcomings out of sheer desperation for an alternative to MWII, but... that's not the case. Game is fun if youre not a pxssy. So if you mad, its not the game its you...

This review is just after the Weapon XP Patch, cutting xp req in half. With my 40 hrs. in game, the only issues left are getting stuck on teammates and not being able to leave after the match is over. Net code was trash on launch. Just about every death felt like it was around a corner. Now there may be 2-3 an hour. I've only ran into 3 verifiable cheaters. In 40 hrs. of any other shooter i would bet to run into more than that. And finally, for me and it might just be my pc specs, but it plays a lot better than any cod I've played on pc. In the past 2 cods there was always weird mouse lagging. so i didn't stick around much for them. Peak Cod for me was Ghosts through IW. XDefiant feels like that's where it sits.

When you get slaughtered by a level 3 with quickscope sniping, you get constantly shot around corners or you see just people bunnyhopping all the time, then you are at xdefiant. and we see what missing sbmm is doing. 80% of the matches are unbalanced.
