This is the cheapest cash grab they could come up with. There's not a single redeemable quality about this. It's amazing how they can make a game more poorly optimized than one-man projects from people who are learning unreal engine. Do not touch this ever. This is the worst attempt at trying to get easy cash off a "remaster". Nobody asked for this, there were zero expectations for this and it still managed to disappoint everyone.

A very VERY very average game hiding until a cool concept and nice visuals. The combat boils down to spam evade, wait a second for lock on and repeat until you win. You can avoid the lock on part when playing against slow and stationary mechs (over half) and get even easier kills. There's not much game if any, the pay-to-win is easy to feel when you see the time or money you have to spend to unlock the mech that has higher damage and higher armor, making things like a light sniper completely irrelevant. I played it during a couple of the beta phases and it was fun, now it's watered down, slow and feels more like a cheap cellphone game than ever. For free, play 2 or 3 games, find out how incredibly expensive it is to get anything you might want and move on to something that is actually fun. Could have been great, it isn't.

A solid 4 **** game is fine, graphics are good, feels smooth on a good PC but the experience is pretty bad. Playing against controller players is atrocious, the time to kill is as close to 0 as possible so in some matches you'll actually spend more time in a loading screen, prematch, plane animation and drop anmiations than actually dropping. It's a very bad experience for most users, I win several matches out of the ones I play so I'd say I'm one of the lucky ones.Matchmaking is non-existent, you get put with a lot of people regardless of the skill and it's a trash experience when some lifeless kid with 100k hours in this shoots you across the map with the help of his controller. There WAS potential in warzone, years ago, they moved in a completely different direction and it looks like the game is just becoming a gacha now.Awful experience on an otherwise decent base.

This is not a good game. The graphics are ok even though they look dated the more you play it but the general game is not fun, not interesting and above all, not a good design. Having to do 30 different actions for 1 thing is not good game design, it's not immersive, it's not realistic, it's just boring. The sword getting dull and useless every other hit, the AI just failing to engage with you in any meaningful way, the extremely tedious process to do ANYTHING remotely interesting and the list goes on. I can't think of any other game that misses on so many levels, the action, the systems, the general gameplay, not a single thing will hook you. The first game was original, this has zero of the originality and ALL of the problems and more than the first one had. I'm just sad I went past the refund window trying to give it a chance.

There are 2 good things in this game: The graphics which look good, scale and perform properly on PC and The day-1 performance. It's one of the few big releases that doesn't need several patches before it looks like a finished game. BUT Then you get to most unappealing artstyle, go past the character creation and start living an RPG where you either have 2 options that don't matter or4 options that are all the same and don't matter. Then you get to the combat which is fine for the first 10 minutes and doesn't change at all for the next 30 hours., you'll start noticing the bland set of 3 or 4 animations repeating in the same order after the first 10 minutes, guaranteed THEN you get to the story, some of the worst and least transcendental plots I've ever seen and then you start to notice the padding, the hours and hours of useless content like unlocking stuff in your base that serves no purpose at all other than making the game longer. And you've already read and heard enough about the "woke" and all that, if you don't like it, it's present everywhere. If you don't care about it, you'll still notice how forced and out of place it is, when you start dealing with american gender politics in your game about elven gods and dragons.

Pros: UE5 game so the graphics look good Cons: All of them It's like every area of the game is trying to compete with the others to see which is more uninspired and lacks more originality. You will not know if they have 3 or 30 maps, if they have 2 or 20 skins per character or if they have 2 or 20 game modes. Everything has been carefully crafted to be as bland as possible. Ignoring some of the other criticism like the "wokeness" and less game related stuff, this is not a good game by any means. The gameplay is just destiny 1 multiplayer with the hero shooter theme poorly pasted on top of it. The only reason to pick a hero is that it doesn't look as ugly as the others or that the gun will be annoying to the heroes the other team picked. There's no strategy to anything, there's no real gameplay other than slowly go to their side and rock-paper-scissor your hero selection to see who dies this time. It's technically fine, but you couldn't expect less from a first-party game that allegedly took 8 years to develop but playing this feels like a shore, and not any shore. A shore that costs money. The only paid hero shooter available that fails to deliver in every single aspect that the free ones thrive on. The open beta didn't have players either, when this goes f2p, try it and see how inferior it is to every one of it's competitors. It's not hate for the unknown studio, sony or anything in the game is just a poor product that requires you to pay to get the same you can get for free but worse in every aspect.

Absolutely awful performance in this bad attempt at a "gaas"cashgrab. It's been long since this game is out, it's already free or extremely discounted depending where you look but they still haven't fixed the performance. They're not even trying to hide they just want your money. Patch notes are always "more cosmetics, new hero, new ways to waste your time" and they have never looked at the 40fps everyone is getting from the oldest console to the best PC. I'm glad this game failed as hard as it did because they never even started to pretend they care about something other than selling you battle passes. Free is still a bit of an asking price for a game that plays even worse than any indie one-man 3d game out there.

Pretty nice free game, outdated graphics, decent monetization model. There's nothing hidden behind microtransactions, the mechanics are cool, the story is weird but everything works and is in the right place, actually surprising to see a game that just works and is not plagued by a million ways to scam you out of your money. Worth a try, specially if you haven't spent that much time in the other billion survival games out there.

Do you love getting shot behind walls? Do you love other shooter games that have the exact same features but work better? Do you love when people leave your game after their first death and you have to either leave or fight 3v6? If the answer is yes, you're gonna love this game. Ignore ping and remember the best of early 2000s netcode while dying over and over behind cover, 2 or 3 steps out of sight, a second after crouching and so on. The shooting is ok, the graphics are outdated but a multiplayer game that can't be played properly with other players is just rubbish. There's no way that a game that's been out for a couple months already still have these netcode issues and that nobody tested the game in anything other than a 2ms ping room next to the server. This could be a decent shooter to compete with other free shooters out there but it's just unplayable unless you have the server advantage, then enjoy the other dozen flaws that make it "like ----- but worse" Fixing the multiplayer will make this game a solid 6, adding less predatory microtransactions will make it a 7 and improving graphics from ps4 to ps4 pro level will make it a solid 7.5. Probably waste your time somewhere else.

This is a decent idea, not good, just decent but plagued by many, many small issues that good games have fixed a very long time ago. The balance is completely non-existent, just as the matchmaking which wil just throw you around to what's very obviously a better or worse match every 2 games. There was overwhelming feedback about classes and during beta and it was completely ignored. Shooting is OK, movement is slow as the maps aren't that big but the game design makes it feel fast which is one of the few good things it has along with the graphics. There are no other redeamable qualities to this, having to change the fov to 100 as suggested by developers is not something a released game should have and winning every match because you are a pocket healer or have one is REALLY far away from what anyone would want in a p2p game. Of course the game will try to make you pay $10 or $20 for a battle pass or useless items at every opportunity even if there's very very little actual content but that's just F2P games. 7 or 8 years ago, this game would've been a solid 6 but it's not 8 years ago and the only thing that it has better than games from that time is that it looks nice. Any shooter you like at the moment will do something better than this game, it claims to be unique but it's capture the flag with 3 teams of 3. Whatever you're playing, don't stop playing it for this, if you want to give it a try, you'll get a vey average experience enough to sink 2 hours and quickly forget everything about the Finals.

This would probably be another solid 5 **** if you could get it to run at all. The game has been out for over a week plus a few more days of early access and there are still issues with their faulty anticheat that based on previous titles will do close to nothing to curve cheating anyway. No answers on the forums other than completely useless basic troubleshooting like "delete your temp files" and still the same issue that makes it impossible to open what would otherwise be a pretty average yearly version of a very average game. Got this as a gift and I really feel bad for the person who paid for this crap and hasn't been able to get his money back because of the also useless customer service.
