Astro Bot

'ASTRO BOT' is a modern gaming masterpiece. It's been years since I have played a game that constantly leaves me with a smile on my face this much. The art style is just perfection, everything feels so polished and smooth, the level designs are always engaging and make you never want to get off of the game, and the simple premise of finding all these different bots with crazy cameos from countless PlayStation games years and years back, it just never got old to me. Any small critiques I could possibly make of ASTRO BOT would be so niche and insignificant that I would essentially just be grasping at straws trying to hate something about this game.

Shroud's new FPS game is essentially just Valorant from Temu. The ideas in this game seem cool in concept, but in reality are not substantial enough for me to not just call this a direct copy of Valorant.

Probably the least satisfying shooter game I have ever played, but the idea is pretty respectable.

If Warzone was only the Rebirth mode, this would probably be about a 9/10. Unfortunately though, it is not and is one of the most dreadfully boring battle royale games out there.

“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” is one of the most fun action games I have ever played with unbelievably good combat. Outside of some small bugs and a somewhat weak ending, this is one of the best Star Wars games yet and even tends to be quite replayable.

Despite being the most graphically impressive LEGO game yet, “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” loses practically all of the charm of what made this game series so fun as a kid in the first place.

Concord is one of the most astonishingly bad shooter games ever released. When I played this game in its beta test a month back, I said that it would be a MAJOR mistake to release this in the current state it is in. While Concord is a pretty polished game, there is just so much wrong with the game that made it a recipe for disaster. The sluggish movement, the painfully uninspired character designs, the dull gunplay, and most importantly the $40 price tag made for one of the worst hero shooters out there. I never expected this game to do well, but just how poorly it is performing is utterly SHOCKING. This will go down as one of the biggest flops in gaming history, and it is just easy to see why.

XDefiant is your typical multiplayer shooter game with some fun abilities between the faction system to give a unique twist. It may not be the "COD Killer" it was claimed to be, but it's a solid shooter that has a lot of fun to be had.

Zenless Zone Zero is a game that doesn’t understand its strengths. The combat in this game is undeniably great. It feels very satisfying, the turn-based system is incredibly smooth, and it’s very graphically appealing. Unfortunately, these 2 minute action sequences are stuck in between a DREADFUL walking simulator going back and forth from point A to point B, talking to uninteresting characters with bland and corny dialogue… as well as some long annoying puzzles that never fail to sour the mood.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn admittedly has some cool ideas, but it ends up just playing like a more stiff version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The combat feels fine, but after only a few hours, I just cannot be bothered to ever touch this again.

The First Descendant can be a fun looter shooter game to play over the weekend with a friend, but its repetitive mission objectives and tedious level-up system leave me with no desire to return. Thankfully, the solid gunplay and unique map designs are just enough go make me not totally hate this game.
