Wii Play: Motion

At only ten extra dollars when bundled with a new controller, there's enough content and replayability to consistently keep you breaking this one out, especially when friends and family are looking to play.

The twelve minigames are, on average, really good; if you need a Wiimote Plus and you can play this game in multiplayer, buy it. Otherwise, just leave it on the shelves.

Considering that the game is sold in bundle with a Wiimote Plus, Wii Play Motion might catch the attention of all those who haven't yet had a chance to get the "new" controller, but if you're not among them the mini-games on offer will hardly arouse any of your interest.

There are some decent games here, in other words, but not enough to make this something you simply have to try. As for the Wii, it's on towards Zelda - and beyond that lies sunset.

Either wait for a further price drop on the peripheral (from the current $30-$40 you can find it for on Amazon) or hope that Nintendo will bundle one with the one game that everyone is still looking forward to on the Wii: Zelda.

One more thing that just twists the knife a little more is that Nintendo of America decided to bring this wonderful compilation of mediocre games over to our shores, but refuses to release games that would actually propel the Wii's game library to new heights.

this one I've never really heard of before but like I say it had a lot of different mechanics a lot of different stuff to do with the rubles and also it had a lot of capabilities I thought for an upgrade from we play to this one but well done and I hope they kept making more these

I haven't played too much of this game, but I have seen enough to know that I basically feel the same for this one as I do for the first Wii Play, just without the nostalgia. It's still a good choice for Wii owners, just remember to have a Wii mote that has a Motion Plus attachment or one that has it already built in.

Better than the original Wii Play, but it still doesn't achieve the pick up and play feel of Wii Party and Wii Sports.

Wii Play the original WAS flawed but it was fine but this one acts like the wii doesn't HAVE motion controls when it does. The game lacks a lot and the games are bland and repetitive. Wii Play is better than this.

Wii Play Motion is a game that fails to excite. It was never meant to be an awfully extensive game, since it's main purpose was to show off the Wii Motion Plus controller, but it is still quite a boring and short-lived game. I didn't really enjoy any of the twelve games on offer. For example, you may be skimming rocks, flying with an umbrella or seeing how many scoops you can get on an ice cream with out it all splattering down. If played with friends, this game might have some replay value, but otherwise it is almost non-existant. Stay away unless in need of a Wii Motion Plus remote.
