This is the best 3D fighting serie in my opinion. No abused moves like in Tekken (a game with flying robots, lasers, **** pretending to be a fighting game). Just a real martial arts game, timing and work is crucial, you can't go very far by just punching any button (like Eddy Gordo or Hwuarang in Tekken). No light effect and slow motion special hits, just a real fight between a lot of different martial arts. You have characters suitable for eveyone depending on your level; don't start with Akira, try Jacky or Jeffrey or Law if you're a beginner. Just train it before Virtua Fighter Crossroads come next year, this one will be huge.

It's Virtua Fighter 5 for like the fifth time. It's a great fighting game and the characters are iconic but you can stop re-releasing this now.

The new single-player content, crossplay, and rollback netcode are great additions that allow players to continue enjoying its excellent gameplay. However, as a definitive edition, it could have been improved upon by removing payment barriers.

World Stage gives both new and returning World Tournament fighters a reason to jump back in and welcome fresh challengers. Expecting more than the competitive spirit of “fight everyone on everything” might lead to a ring out for your expectations, though.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O could have been the perfect opportunity to bring attention to the franchise’s name, but unfortunately it is just going in circles on itself for over 19 years now with the same release.

I only played the demo but compared to similar games like Tekken and DoA it feels pretty boring. It just seemed to lack fun. Felt a bit too clinical.
