VESTA
Vesta is the perfect... average game. There's nothing objectively wrong with it, but there's also nothing special here, either. It's a simple action-puzzler, with simple tests of wit, and simple mechanics to deal with them.
Puzzle fans will find a lot to love in Vesta. The game goes beyond simple tasks to a fully fleshed-out experience with beautiful graphics and an intriguing storyline. While the pacing can be slow and certain puzzles frustrating if you don’t follow the correct sequence on the first try, this is a perfect title to pick up and chill out with. The levels can vary in length, but overall aren’t that long, lending itself well to short play sessions while on the go.
Vesta is an intriguing puzzle game that absolutely won't set the world on fire, but if you're after a quirky experience with some clear inspiration from Zelda, you can't go wrong here.

I completed this game this past weekend on the Switch in about 6 hours (found all discs). It is a decent title including 32 levels and 4 bosses which were pretty interesting. You need to control a girl and a robot, but I found the speed of the characters a little slow. The puzzles were easy at first and eventually became a little bit harder and more interesting, but repetitive at the same time. I felt there was not a lot of innovative elements after the first half of the game. I also don't like when collecting everything does not unlock bonus contents. The environment reminded me of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and the E. Gadd's Garage board theme from Mario Party 6. It is an ok title for the price, but I would recommend buying it when it is on sale. It deserves a 6.5 out of 10 IMO.

Vesta does a remarkably fine job of aping the design and simple brilliance of Zelda puzzles, while putting its own unique spin on things as it does so. Though its puzzles can sometimes be unfairly or frustratingly designed, a pleasing visual style, meaty campaign and generally satisfying gameplay loop make this a win in our book; we’d absolutely suggest you give Vesta a try (especially if you’re a Zelda fan). There’s plenty to love about this quirky puzzle game, and it’s one you’ll likely want to revisit from time to time.

It has its imperfections, but this doesn't make it a bad game, and we are very sure that for people who like puzzle games like this it will be a pleasant experience.

The gameplay isn't enough to carry the simple story and Vesta shouldn't be played in anticipation of the engrossing dystopian tale that it initially promises.

Vesta is best described as okay, and it never really rises above that level despite its prettiness.

SummaryComplete all 36 levels in the game, fight a variety of robots, and manage the little energy that keeps the whole thing going. You will have to trust your abilities and solve a series of puzzles if you have any chance of reaching the end of the maze!
