While the graphics are not as shiny and sleek as the cars are in real life, and there are no damage affects, this game is great for its price. You can’t find a better deal on a new game; 20 dollars for all these options and challenges should be considered grand theft video game.

Tedious gameplay, poor vehicle handling, and an unfriendly interface are just a few reasons why you should leave this game in the bargain bin.

The inability to drift still sucks, but now, there's no reason to attempt to legitimately progress through the game since you can avoid these races entirely, and rivals aren't challenging either.

The ultimate touge racer, nothing but twisted mountain roads. Unfortunately borderline unplayable on a gamepad, since Genki gave their PS2 racers large 30% analog deadzones on top of slow steering filters. A wheel is required to make it playable, which automatically disables the slow steering filters.

Its incredible, best ps2 touge racing game. lots of content and challange also good control scheme

I have quite the mixed opinions about this one. The game features a wide selection of vehicles, ranging from your iconic JDM's to your usual daily drivers, which is a huge plus in my book. CA Battles have stupidly large difficulty spike and ruberbanding on late game. Some of the Top-Tier upgrades are locked behind gambling battles, asking for huge sums of money for a *chance* of getting the upgrade, and the soundtrack is very boring and repetitive, i myself just completely turned it off. Getting money is ridiculously easy on the late game with the help of sponsors, and i really liked the progression system, i also enjoyed the more realistic aproach towards the handling of the vehicles.

It's a racing game that has a lot of good going for it until you get into the driving mechanics of drifting your car. This part of the title may totally give you hissy fits. Try before you buy.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 is little more than the original in disguise, and it's a poor disguise, at that. It suffers from the exact same problems, and we'd actually prefer the original because at least that one was a little more straightforward.

A pretty bland attempt at not only a drift racer, but also a racer in general.

Basically, Drift 2 feels like a repackaging of the original Drift, with almost nothing done to improve on the myriad problems of the prequel.

Please do not believe what the Metacritic score says the game is a awesome game and it’s much more related than just drifting, but more related into the touge racing seen in Japan the customization is awesome and it has a wide variety of JDM cars and even a small of euro cars too and the trucks are great and highly detailed and the handling is really awesome. Of course you’re gonna have to do practice a little bit but once you get used to it, you’ll love it and the people with the meta-critic reviews need to re-review this game and actually get somebody who knows how to play this game then with reviewers that have massive skill issues
