The Walking Dead: Michonne recycles all of the tropes and cliches of the other games in the Telltale line of games without the proper character development and storytelling needed to live up to the high standard set by the other titles. The Walking Dead Season 1 by Telltale is one of my favorite games of all time. The tale of Lee and Clementine will always hold a special place in my heart. Naturally, I had to play all of the games in the series. The Walking Dead: Michonne marks the last of The Walking Dead games that I've played, and unfortunately it is a strong candidate for the weakest of the bunch. The hauntingly portrayed lost daughters in this episode definitely casts some strong emotive moments, but overall there was just not enough time to properly present a meaningful story and cast of characters. You've got the big bad community dictator. You've got the kid you need to take care of. You've got the troubled past. Every ingredient of a The Walking Dead game is here. But it's really just a skeleton of the other games. Unless you're a die-hard fan of this series like me, skip this one. Verdict: MODERATELY BAD P.S. Quick time events were never cool.

This Season was great some of the characters were less than favorable the telltale series is in the same universe of the comics not the Tv show so somethings are different I enjoy the comics more than the show. Seasons 1, 2, 4, and this are the good seasons made by telltale I enjoyed learning about Michonne Thank you!

this game is really mixed or average, but i really love how telltale made twd world. tv-series is very bad, but this games have well-made world, i enjoyed this game but its bad

I played this game when I was just a kid, and it genuinely changed me forever. S1 and S2 were some of the most amazing, sad, emotional times I had with this game. 10 years later, I am back, playing definitive edition. I love this amazing game. Every single entry. From S1 to S4, to the AMAZING Michonne mini-series, is amazing. Some of the best storytelling ever. Telltale, I thank you. WE thank you. Thank you for making magic happen. <3

There's a remastered version available now, together with all the other games in the series, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, which is superior to the original game in terms of visuals and overall presentation. The remaster does a great job of bringing the game up to today's standards, although the original game still holds up well in terms of graphics. I highly suggest you consider playing the remaster because it is superior. "The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries" proves to be a disappointment as it comes across as rushed, and worst TWD experience in the series so far. In contrast to the other games in the series, it is noticeably shorter although it comes with a high price tag. The game introduces characters, only to swiftly remove them through various means. Unfortunately, the character development is lacking, leaving Michonne's character feeling rather uninteresting, to be honest. Unlike the first two games in the series, "Michonne" doesn't offer a branching narrative that can completely alter the course of the entire game. Although choices do hold significance to some extent, they alter the narrative's presentation while retaining the core concept. Certain choices hold more enduring consequences, while others bear only fleeting impacts. The notable difference here is that many decisions in this installment felt uninspiring. However, this sentiment could largely stem from my lack of attachment to any character throughout my playthrough. Coming off the emotional engagement of the first two games, I found myself let down by the absence of any emotional connection in "Michonne." The characters and scenes failed to evoke little to any feelings within me. Additionally, the gameplay diverges from its predecessors by heavily relying on Quick-Time events and action-oriented sequences, which, in my opinion, isn't bad, but needs a balance, with a bit more exploration and character control, as a The Walking Dead title. Nonetheless, it's important to remember that this is a spin-off, unrelated to the other titles in the series except for its shared universe. Playing "Michonne" isn't essential to comprehending the other two "The Walking Dead" games in the series. Evidently tailored for fans of the comic books who have a deep affinity for Michonne, the game seems geared toward an audience that may prioritize the character's story over its overall quality. I will recommend you this for the usual Telltale dialogue-choices + cinematic storytelling gameplay. But play the game without high expectations. It is a short experience, and not expecting the same TWD quality will soften the blow. There is one aspect that stood out to me in this game—the intro. It's remarkably well-executed, and I genuinely hope that future titles adopt similar intros.

That one was OK. Nothing to write home about, but it was not bad either. Just kinda whatever.

Clunky and robotic animations, forced dialog, cringe worthy overacting, and dyslexic controls make this series really hard to enjoy. There are moments when the game WANTS you to care about the characters, but unlike the AMC series, there's really no reason to care about all these characters you've just met. If the game focused more on Carol or Darrel, I think it would have been more interesting as very little is known about them before the apocalypse, and I feel they chose Michone because they needed to check some racial boxes after releasing 400 Days. Michone really is the weakest link in the series.

Das Spiel ist echt gut geworden, ich liebe es in diese Storys einzutauchen, ist teilweise besser als die TV-Serie zu gucken. Da TWD aber immer etwas $%§&$/% ist, habe ich den Kapiteln spaßeshalber auf den Punkt gebracht Beschreibungen verpasst. (Nicht weiterlesen, wenn noch nicht gespielt, außer du willst es nicht spielen, dann erklären die 3 Sätze das ganze Spiel) Chapter 1: Copy & Paste aus der Serie und für noch mehr Drama fügen wir noch einen versuchten Suicide hinzu. Chapter 2: Wir werden gefangen genommen und brechen wieder aus. - Der Klassiker Chapter 3: Da es die letzte Episode ist, gibt es einen krassen Kampf und dann endet das Spiel. Größter Abfu*k: Kapitel 2: Der Vater hebt den Zombiearm auf und macht das Tor auf, um ihn rauszuwerfen, wo gerade 45678 Zombies drauf zustürmen, anstatt ihn einfach über diesen 3 Meter hohen Zaun zu werfen und warum? Weil seine Kinder keinen Zombiearm sehen sollen, ? Die Kinder denken sich bestimmt garnicht, warum sie sich nur in ihrem Haus, das mit einem 3 Meter Zaun umgeben ist, aufhalten dürfen, ne für die is das ganz normal, r u serious? Und dass sich ein Verrückter durch eine Zombiehorde schießt, bekommt auch keiner im Haus bzw. vor dem Haus, im Garten mit, weil er sich garnicht durchschießt, sondern einfach am Haus ankommt und komischer Weise die ganze Zombiehorde einfach weg war, is klar.

As always - tough and gloomy, in the spirit of the walking dead series and games from Telltale. If you liked previous projects - feel free to take it. Well, get ready for the fact that it will pass very quickly, it was not for nothing that they called it a mini-series

Призраки детей пиздец страшные, а так очень мало контента, чисто на 4 часа игра, лучше TWD 1 & TWD 2 купите и не ебите себе мозги.

Summary: Short, but not so bad game, in my opinion. Had an interesting time playing it. My favorite quote was: "We all have our demons, honey. Some are on the inside. Some are sitting right in front of us. Wondering what kind of mother brings a child in this mess of a world. Ain't no blue skies for them anymore".

Игра конечно может где-то интересная но меня задолбали эти галлюцинации это просто ужасно!Во всех играх которые я играл некогда мне галлюцинации особо не нравились. Управление на геймпаде на самом деле нормальное но чувствительность просто ужасная .В игре нет такой атмосферы как в первых двух эпизодах The Walking Dead не знаю куда делась атмосфера.

Quite interesting story, again not as good as main series of games, but it was enjoyable despite few slightly more boring parts.

Good little story, good music. But for a full-fledged game, it does not hold out, it passes very quickly. And with the main character, the developers came up with something, moved away from the canonical comic book. I can’t rate it as a full season, very little content.

its full sh@t. my english bad and im writing all on russian . сюжет : скучный и не интересный . я играл и в обычный вокинг дэд (факинг май инглиш) и он на 5 голов выше этого высера . объясню : сюжет такой : вообщем начинается игра с того что главной героине приснился сон , (не буду спойлерить) и после этого она просыпается , и бла бла бла . сюжет не законченый вообщем скачайте с торрентов и посмотрите (ни в коем случаи не покупаете , игра не проходится за 1 час , а больше) и он КОРОТКИЙ - где то 4-5 часов (в стиме уже не вернете деньги) я за гг не переживал , чувствовал что это просто никто , сюжет настолько скучный , к добавок геймплей : в walking dead он не главный но все равно : он сука скучнее и блять тупее чем лекция или видео на русском ютубе в тренде . графен : ну там стилистика и поэтому такая графика . итог : игра скучный , не интересный , тупой КУСОК ГОВНА

It was short but tasted good. I liked it while I eagerly waited for Season 3. 6hrs on record.

Wish i hadnt played it. It was a waste of time still the story is okay but its just average and gives some background for michonne.

Атмосферный годный проект на 1 раз. Итерактивность имеется, музыка шикарна. Сюжет мне зашёл, годный. Нужно только перетерпеть 1-й эпизод и всё. Итог: (7.000+7.790+9.707):3=8.1656=8.166

Игра отлична. В первые в серии меня зацепила музыка. Интересная история. Эпизоды стали короче но не сильно. Если во втором сезоне на эпизод уходило 2,5 часа, то в Мишон 1,5-2.

Now besides the fact that this Game crashed at least once on every episode I am still going to recommend this Game. Telltale Games are known for making good choice wise Games and this is no less then one of them. I was struggeling on whether to buy this Game or not. Since I am a big Fan of The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2. I was aware that this Game has nothing to do with the other 2 Games which is why I didn't know whether I like it or not. Although this Game has nothing to do with the main Walking Dead Games from telltale, it is just as amazingly made. I am not sure whether this Game is related or not to the Walking Dead Series on TV as I am not watching it. Michonne is the main Character of this Game and a Strong one at it, mentally but also body wise. This Character shows that everybody even the strongest people can come with package. I personally really enjoyed the Game as it had a deeper meaning behind it then other Games. I can recommend this Game to any Achievement Hunter, anybody that loves making their own choices in Video Games and of course any Telltale Game Fan.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is the worst Telltale adventure game I've played yet in terms of choppy animations and the game is quite short at under 4 hours. However, if you're a Walking Dead fan, you'll want to get this game. For the rest of the gamers out there, it's what you'd expect from The Walking Dead games except it's "fun-size".

67% is harsh. It's just as good looking as the other Walking Dead games and the plot is just as strong. It's not as novel, but it's still consistently gritty. I liked Michonne, a strong lead. Strong and capable, but human and haunted. Relatable and sympathetic. Definitely worth your time, especially if you can get it cheaply.

Michonne's backstory was interesting. It is not nearly as good as the first in the Telltale series. Overall, it was pretty boring and seemed very short. This will be the last one I play.

When it comes to controls its probably the worst game I've ever played. I did not think it could be worse and then I tried the android version. Abominal. TWD1 was ok, TWD2 worse, but Michonne is just riddiculous. I've tried puting back her shoulder for like 20 times... Is this a game or a piss off machine?

Да, название Miniseries оправданно. Сюжет не удивляет, а геймплей не менялся с 2012 года... Но вытаскивают игру разные ситуации, то очень даже интересные, то скучные. Удивительно, что игроку вообще дают походить, только делается это с такой неохотой, что хочется просто побыстрее продвинуться по сюжету. Не плохо, но весьма средне, на любителя.

Michonne mini series has the Telltale qualities i love, but its just so damn short, you can finish all 3 episodes in just 1.5 h giving you 30 minutes per 5 $, thats not a good value for such game. But even at that its still a good game with good and well paced story line. As someone who doesnt watch the TV show and doesnt know a thing about Michonne as a character before, i did enjoy playing the game.

The writing is on par with the tv series, which means its a big step down for telltale. There are contrivances in the plot and some absolutely dreadful flashbacks that create artificial tension in the present.

High Quality game . It is evident that this is just preparation for TWD Season 3 . Of the minuses - it lacks music . Hopefully Telltale Gamez will continue to experiment with mini series .

The Walking Dead: Michonne is okay, as I think. Rather good story, interesting characters, but I would prefer seeing "The Walking Dead: Daryl" instead of "Michonne" which is not my favourite character at all from The Walking Dead. However, you will not be forced to play a long, since the game is not too long, but it gives you some content from Telltale Games. Yeah, finally. We're looking forward for The Walking Dead: Season Three!

The story is okay and overall it's just an okay game. The game is really short to be immersed in. I felt like the first ep took about 40 mins 2nd ep was like 30mins and the last one was 20mins. And I don't know if other people liked it but I never liked this hallucination scenes. This kind of scenes are boring in most games just like this one. If you can enjoy mediocre quality games, go for it. You might enjoy it.

Telltale's mini-series The Walking Dead: Michonne was unquestionably a step-up for TTG. Someone who has played the previous titles of the series will notice that there have been some improvements over the technicalities such as graphics, cinematics, screenplay, and whatnot. Overall, it may not be one of Telltale's best games, but TWD: Michonne offers a pleasant experience -- most especially for the fans of the series.

Overall an enjoyable experience with a decent story but it's extremely short, we knew it was a miniseries thus only 3 episodes instead of the usual 5 - 6 but what I didn't expect was for each episode to be nearly half the regular duration, the full series took just about 4 hours instead of the expected 6 hours, so it felt like you missed an entire episodes worth of playtime. The game also had some technical issues, with some frame rate drops here and there and some very long loading times especially in episode 3 (30+ seconds on a Samsung 850 Evo SSD). If you enjoyed previous games from TTG you will enjoy this one as well but just know it won't last long and you will most likely be left thinking "Oh it's over?" by the time the credits roll.
