One of the greatest games ever!! Soundtrack, visuals and the story are epic. This game would have been perfect 10 if not for the constant technical issues: crashes, bugs, etc. Otherwise is quite incredible what they did. So much magical and amazing adventures. So much epic places: caves, castles , dungeons. So much to do: the world is immense and there are a million of quests to do. For me this will be an experience I’ll forever treasured! Please play it!!

This is coming from a place of love, having well over 1000 hours in skrim and playing it for at least 20 hours a year, the game is a jank mess 90% of the time, which is what makes it what it is

It’s one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played. It’s huge, with thousands of things to do, and it never feels empty. The story is deep, very well written, and the voice acting is excellent. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing, one of the best in the history of video games. The character-building options are outstanding: race, weapons, magic, skills, clothing, and more. And all of it evolves dynamically as you play, meaning no two playthroughs are the same and you can create completely different characters with total freedom, without predefined **** level scaling is a bit uneven in some areas, especially open ones, while in dungeons it remains solid. There are hundreds of side quests. Some of them have so much content and story that they even surpass the main plot, while others are quite short and repetitive.

Sigh What to write...? Sigh Well, certainly everything I type next is old news, considering Skyrim's age and its undeniable fame. In my case, it's the very first Elder Scrolls game I've played, and damn, what an experience! There are so many details, so many stories, so many facets, that a simple review like this wouldn't even begin to cover the complexity and beauty of this work of art. I, who am by no means a hardcore gamer, spent over 450 hours as the Dragonborn, scouring the cold and dangerous lands of Tamriel. Beyond the main stories, I believe all, absolutely all the DLCs are worth it. And there are quite a few. Anyway, what a grandiose game. I haven't felt so satisfied and empty at the same time since I finished Cyberpunk. You know, that hollow feeling in your chest that tastes like "now what do I do with my life?" A void after living countless stories, with complex characters, wonderful landscapes, and an incredible soundtrack. Skyrim allows you to forget reality for a few hours as soon as you open the game and get into the mood carried by the Dragonborn music. I've done all the quests I had, along with the DLCs, and even so, I know there are many more hours of gameplay. I'm only stopping, hoping to return someday, because I need to continue playing other adventures. I recommend it more than anything. The entire community recommends it! Be the Dragonborn!

I'm sorry but I just don't get the Skyrim hype anymore tbh, not in modern day, especially since we the absolute flawless masterpiece that is Oblivion Remastered now. Optimization on lower end spec PCs aside. Daggerfall Unity & Morrowind are also light years above Skyrim when it comes to game design, quest design, having interesting characters, progression, having every single thing you do impact your characters, NPCs and the world around you and more. Simply put, Skyrim is the weakest link out of all elder scrolls ever made, all other elder scrolls games are better than it, including ESO, which is not very good at all anymore.

Ottima esperienza su Switch, e soprattutto gioco fantastico.
Bello il fatto che muovendo i Joy Con puoi combattere ma avrei gradito, magari al posto dell'amibo di Zelda, il supporto mod come su PS4 e Xbox One.

This is in my opinion THE GAME of all time however this edition is buggy and crashes and kicks me out a lot but for Skyrim it's worth it and more

Horrible gyro. I mean THE worst I've ever felt. So incredibly sluggish with it maxed out. Crashes. And just bot as good as one remembers it through rose tinted glasses. Not even worth the $20, to help with 10 more for "upgrades" that arent there on the Switch version.

This game is absolutely amazing—no other way to put it. Skyrim: Special Edition on Switch is everything I could ask for in a video game. The story? Epic. The characters? Memorable. The world? Massive and full of life. Every aspect of the game just works, and it still feels fresh even after 200+ hours of gameplay.I’ve finished the main story, Dragonborn, and Dawnguard, and I’m still finding new things to do. That’s the magic of Skyrim—there’s always more. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or someone picking up a controller for the first time, I highly recommend this game. Young or old, there’s something in Skyrim for **** me, this isn’t just a great game—it’s the greatest video game of all time. A true masterpiece that deserves every bit of praise it gets.

Its skyrim nuff said. Add the modlist lost legacy and have hundreds of hours of enhanced gameplay with less bugs than non modded.

Gioco bellissimo, su Switch gira ad almeno 30fps senza scendere mai, veramente soddisfatto.
Bello anche per i DLC

Good game that's better on any other platform. Not a knock on the game, but I didn't enjoy using the joycons to play the game. It feels weird to use bumpers to attack. The graphics suffer. Highly recommend the game, but if there is any other platform as an option, I'd go with it.

Increíble juego: Su historia, mundo abierto, personajes.
Muy divertido sacar el platino.
La historia principal es corta pero muy interesante y misiones secundarias muy divertidas y diversas y la trama de la guerra civil y dlcs muy entretenidos.

I've played this game countless times and i will never get bored of any TES game, so i might be a little biased. What i like on switch version is playing archer or mage since switch has very cool aiming mechanics - where you aim with analogue stick and then use motion control for better percision.

Perfect immersion for the first open world RPG classic. The Switch isn’t short of games that have already taken a bow, or several, on other hardware, but Skyrim might be the one that most deserves another look from both hardy Elder Scrolls adventurers and absolute beginners alike. Despite its age showing, the countless little cracks in its already fractured façade, it still delivers a palpable sense of space, and the player’s niche-carving progress through it, that few games before or since have managed. May its dancing northern lights never dim.

For what it is no game comes close to achieving what skyrim has achieved. I would say it's the most iconic rpg of all time easily and probably the defining game of the 2010's. Are there better rpg's? Of course there are. But nothing beats Skyrim in it's sheer magnitude of ways to get lost in it's world.

Skyrim as a whole is a great game with a lot to do, and an interesting range of characters, cultures and backgrounds. Skyrim’s main quest lines are very Bethesda and carries on well from the previous games, the two stories being a Civil War in Skyrim, Imperials against Stormcloaks, and fighting against dragons, which are being brought back from extinction. The shortness in the main storyline is made up for in the wide expanse of side quests, which are constantly keeping you busy during and after story completion. The combat system is very customizable as you’re able to choose between magic, archery, dual wielding or one-handed weapons, or everything all at once. You’re also able to simply fist fight your way through the game if you want. There are plenty of characters you can hire to accompany you and you are able to customize their equipment how you wish, though they do have specific skills. However, Skyrim’s follower system is incredibly bland and takes away character from the follower. Also, many characters have the same voice actors, and interactable characters are fairly few besides merchants. As for the presentation, Skyrim’s soundtrack has got to be the most recognizable and peaceful music to bless this Earth, and it is brilliantly immersive and recognizable. The scenery is beautiful, and the map is diverse as each city has different architecture and societies based on where they are located and the histories of the cities and the world around them. Despite its flaws, Skyrim is an incredible experience with the freedom to build your character however you wish.

The best game I have played in a longtime! Not a huge gamer myself, last game I had played was the previous Elder Scrolls iteration Oblivion and I wasn't disappointed: loads of things on another epic game. 100% recommended. Not giving a 10 because of some annoying bugs which I guess all versions have.

Great game that has hundreds of hours of story, fantastic graphics, and exciting dragon battles. The Switch port holds up well. There are always new ways to experience skyrim, even if you have been there many times before

This game is a 10/10 game if you have mods and you play it on a PC. It is still a very fun game on the Switch, and it feels amazing to play on the go or on a couch. The reason I gave it an 8 is because I encountered 2 game breaking glitches, and lost around 5 hours of progress because of it. SAVE ALL THE TIME. Before you go on a mission or after you clear some sort of objective, ALWAYS, SAVE. Everything else is fine though. I would give this a 0/10 because you can't marry Serana, but I'm feeling generous today.

Great game but I don't feel exploration is encouraged as everywhere looks the same once your running in the wilderness.
The colour pallet could be a bit less in dark and grim.
Too many warp points it's just confusing.

WOW!!! what a load on content. Playing it on the Switch is awesome. Plays and sounds perfect. It has a good story which other open world games )like Breath Of The Wild had nothing to offer) Yes the Graphics are only a touch better then the PS3/360 but it is still just a great game. Huge worlds and tons of quests. Great job Nintendo/Bethesda

This game is so bad. Skyrim is not good even for 2011. I don't understand why most people love this. Most overrated RPG of all time.

I never understand why skyrim is considered such a masterpiece don't get me wrong the game is fun on the beginning but the more you play the more you realise that the fighting system is clunky af, the cavern or instances are just copy/paste, the story is ok and the most important the game is full of bugs. Every fanboy will say omg but the mods!,the mods!.... who cares about the mods how do you still accept that Bethesda sells you game that aren't finish that you need to mod to make them good. I played around 40 hours and the more i played the more a realise his flaws.

I bought Skyrim 2012 for my PC, loved it like not other game before and stopped playing after over 350 hours with different characters and storylines around 2015. Bought this version immediately after I got myself a Switch. Skyrim in the bed, on the go, everywhere - a dream came true! Performance is superb, graphics too. In fact both better as on my old pc! Content is awesome too with the dlc's. Still worth to play!

"Skyrim Anniversary Edition holds a special place in my heart. Sure, it’s not the best Elder Scrolls game (no matter what Todd Howard would have you believe), and it certainly has some issues (such as one too many Draugr Tombs…), but there’s just so much excellent content here that you can overlook its flaws and have a great time. The game may be a meme at this point, but it has also stood the test of time for a reason. It’s one hell of an RPG." ****/2022/11/11/skyrim-anniversary-edition/

I can't believe they finally added anniversary content to the switch version! There are some really solid additions to the game that breathe new life into this already impressive rpg experience. I'm really enjoying the new quests and armor, and the new spells are fantastic additions as well.
