Red Dead Redemption 25

To be clear, I played a good 60+ hours of RDR2 on PS4 when it first came out, I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. I don't understand the hype at all with this game, I find it extremely and mind numbingly boring. The problem is it's WAY WAY TOO realistic. As an 1800s open world tech demo, it's absolutely breath taking and amazing. As an actual fun game, not so much. RDR1 in my opinion is peak western video game, it's realistic but not too realistic to where it's boring. When you're used to all of the entertainment and technology we have today, the 1800s were a mind numbingly boring time to actually live in and explore, and with countless more interesting and exciting game worlds and much less boring game worlds to choose from even spanning from the 80s and 90s let alone today, RDR2 just doesn't do it for me. I also don't appreciate how overly realistic movement speed is while on horse or on foot. And it makes it even worse when the game forces you to walk even more mind numbingly slower in ****'s missing the zany and wacky and hilarious and interesting characters RDR1 had that gave a realistic 1800s western open world the color, character and excitement that a otherwise boring real life setting desperately needed. Not to mention the stellar DLC, Undead Nightmare, that infested the entire game world with zombies, which is yet another one of the reasons RDR1 is superior to RDR2. RDR2 should have had alien DLC or **** literally anything to spice things up, so RDR2 just isnt a good game despite being one of the most hyped games of all time. I hope the next entry in the series has more fun, zany, wacky and actually interesting characters in it to keep me from falling asleep behind my monitor trying to figure why in the heck so many people think this is a good video game.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition3

I'm sorry but I just don't get the Skyrim hype anymore tbh, not in modern day, especially since we the absolute flawless masterpiece that is Oblivion Remastered now. Optimization on lower end spec PCs aside. Daggerfall Unity & Morrowind are also light years above Skyrim when it comes to game design, quest design, having interesting characters, progression, having every single thing you do impact your characters, NPCs and the world around you and more. Simply put, Skyrim is the weakest link out of all elder scrolls ever made, all other elder scrolls games are better than it, including ESO, which is not very good at all anymore.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons5
Sep 25, 2025
New Horizons is one of the most overrated games of all time. Although I did enjoy my time doing all of the missions in New Horizons a lot, for me that is where the fun stopped, I hope the next Animal Crossing has a lot more missions and more types of missions.

Pokemon Scarlet8
Sep 25, 2025
Mainline Pokemon games are sadly, still the best monster tamer games on the market, but this is largely due to lack of effort from other companies to make more competent Pokemon competitors and Nintendo's evil and egregious attempts to sue or scare everyone and their grandma into an oblivion who tries to make one, so they're the best only by default because of these reasons. That being said, Pokemon Scarlet is still a very fun time, if not for any other reason, for the fact of trying to catch em all or catch as many Pokemon as you can, the Pokemon collecting is the only thing that makes mainline Pokemon games worth it in modern day though.

Grand Theft Auto IV10

GTA 4 still stands out as the best game in the series even at the time of this review, with Niko Bellic as the most compelling protagonist, and delivering a near-perfect experience through its timeless, realistic, gritty, dark, weighty and somber story, characters, and environments that should appeal to all adult gamers. The only possible flaw I can possibly nitpick is the slippery car handling, which hasn't aged well, but everything else remains flawless and makes it a timeless classic even now and for forever.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited4
Sep 25, 2025
In 2015, The Elder Scrolls Online was highly enjoyable, with thousands of hours spent on my old PlayStation account, drawn to its rich characters, items, environments, and lore. However, it now feels absurdly outdated, repetitive, and lacks engaging new content, making an ESO 2 desperately needed given how terrible ESO is now, and how amazing and timeless an ESO 2 could potentially become.

Fallout 765
Sep 25, 2025
Fallout 76 appears visually appealing but proves boring and pointless, as even skilled guilds admit it’s only worthwhile for roleplaying, not as a true video game. With a competent guild, gameplay becomes a repetitive cycle of watching things get blown up and destroyed while collecting meaningless rewards, making it a mindless loot simulator.

Stardew Valley8
Sep 25, 2025
**** Valley is a fun casual game that is fun to play most of it's content and mess around with, especially with friends but I struggle hard to see why so many people are able to put hundreds or more hours into the base game. With lots of mods I understand completely, but idk what people who only play the base game for hundreds of hours are actually doing that whole time. It's great and very worthwhile, but I played this game for around 50 to 80 hours on console when I had one, and after that, there was nothing super meaningful left to do.

Empyrion - Galactic Survival3
Sep 25, 2025
Empyrion is one of the most mediocre and boring games I've ever played. Once you find a faction that knows what they're doing, it literally just becomes you raiding the same cookie cutter monsters and bases over and over again, until you hopefully realize this game isn't worth playing at all.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales8
Sep 25, 2025
Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a short 7-hour story that’s absolutely worth playing for its amazing narrative, with Miles being a much cooler protagonist than Peter Parker. Despite the very repetitive gameplay typical of all Spider-Man games at the time of this review, the compelling story made completing the game a very worthwhile experience, as long as you don't mind the steep price tag for a 7 hour story.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered10
Sep 25, 2025
Oblivion Remastered rivals Morrowind as the best game in the series, boasting a vast array of amazing lootable items, spells, gear, and weapons, all enhanced by timeless nostalgia, interesting characters, and hilarious unfixed jank. Its incredible story and dreamlike environments, breathtaking visuals and stellar gameplay cement it as one of the greatest single-player RPGs and remasters of all time, and a timeless classic that everyone on planet earth should experience.
