Incredibly charming game that sadly lacked proper directing and any real ambition. Though its art style is cute and loved how they reimagined the office life into an Action Platformer, in particularly with the bosses of the game, thinking of each of them as the real highlights of the game I felt the rest of it played it both too safe and too simple which I found to be especially a shame for again how enjoyable and creative the world felt. Add to that a pretty undercooked story that felt unfinished, nonmemorable music, and some weird bugs that though not game braking were noticeable, I got to ask if the money just stopped at one point and they had no other choice but to ship the game with what they had for lack of a better choice even while being so short already. Overall, it's not a bad game, especially if you can get it at a discount, but just feels more like the bones **** game rather than an actual good game, and I could only hope that the people working on this game can use this experience to grow and be more ambitious for their next project.

I'm not a big fan of platformers, but the look of this one interested me enough that I ended up buying it. The difficulty surely gets up as you progress into the game, so I had a hard time even finishing it. theThat is very much a me problem. The story didn't disappoint though - it's either a goofy story about you beating up your boss or an allegorical one about fighting the system itself.

The Company Man is an entertaining 2D platformer that will resonate with many who have worked in the business world. Some of the decisions the game has you make are not the most ethical, however, the game is not all that serious. The characters are whimsical businessfolk that provide fun personalities. The gameplay is responsive and fluid. The visuals, animations, and style are very polished as well. The game is a little short, but the difficulty level is consistent throughout. A great game for fans of 2D platformers looking for a game that can be finished in a night or two.
