At a time when trading sweat pants for slacks in a bid to return to the office is a dreaded drag, The Company Man reminds us exactly of what we hoped to leave back in the “before times.” With that being said, it’s handled in such a clever and fun way that brawling with colleagues becomes almost cathartic. If you’re tired of being a cog in the corporate machine and want to stick it to the man, The Company Man offers that pick-up-and-platforming-play that’ll surely bring joy to your lunch hour.

The Company Man has an interesting premise and an appealing art direction, but the gameplay is bland and lacks variety with a general lack of content.

The Company Man is a competent platformer with beautifully hand-drawn artwork. The character designs are impressive. The boss battles are genuine, and each boss is unique in its design. However, the game suffers from some design flaws, mainly around the inability to aim projectiles and duck. This will require you to rethink how you may handle some of the more challenging bosses. In addition, the story isn’t intriguing, and it’s disappointing that the story didn’t match the beauty of the game’s art.

Incredibly charming game that sadly lacked proper directing and any real ambition. Though its art style is cute and loved how they reimagined the office life into an Action Platformer, in particularly with the bosses of the game, thinking of each of them as the real highlights of the game I felt the rest of it played it both too safe and too simple which I found to be especially a shame for again how enjoyable and creative the world felt. Add to that a pretty undercooked story that felt unfinished, nonmemorable music, and some weird bugs that though not game braking were noticeable, I got to ask if the money just stopped at one point and they had no other choice but to ship the game with what they had for lack of a better choice even while being so short already.
Overall, it's not a bad game, especially if you can get it at a discount, but just feels more like the bones **** game rather than an actual good game, and I could only hope that the people working on this game can use this experience to grow and be more ambitious for their next project.

I'm not a big fan of platformers, but the look of this one interested me enough that I ended up buying it. The difficulty surely gets up as you progress into the game, so I had a hard time even finishing it. theThat is very much a me problem. The story didn't disappoint though - it's either a goofy story about you beating up your boss or an allegorical one about fighting the system itself.

The Company Man is an entertaining 2D platformer that will resonate with many who have worked in the business world. Some of the decisions the game has you make are not the most ethical, however, the game is not all that serious. The characters are whimsical businessfolk that provide fun personalities. The gameplay is responsive and fluid. The visuals, animations, and style are very polished as well. The game is a little short, but the difficulty level is consistent throughout. A great game for fans of 2D platformers looking for a game that can be finished in a night or two.

The Company Man plays out like I expected it to, but in a good way. The floors each look different, even though they look different they don’t play too differently from one to the next. Boss battles are fun and different enough that I looked forward to playing each one at the end of a floor. Some of the upgrading options felt a little slow for my taste, but I only have minor complaints to file with H.R. about the game.

The Company Man is a beautiful action platformer that is crammed with character. Forust Studio has laced the game with social commentary that truly enhances the experience. Even though it has a few pacing issues and lacks replay value, this is an enjoyable fight against capitalism.

The Company Man is an exciting platformer with no shortage of action and challenges. From enemies that shoot ice at Jim to customer service representatives that breathe fire, there's a good variety of adversaries to avoid or defeat before moving on to the next level. The Company Man is an immensely fun platformer reminiscent of old school games, but with a modern look at corporate corruption.

The Company Man is a fun action platformer, but with some balance issues and checkpoints miles apart it's hard to recommend over its peers.

The Company Man is a serviceable platformer that shows a lot of promise with innovative ideas and clever premises. But it fails to live up to expectations and feels like a missed opportunity to be something more. If you’re looking for a Mega Man clone with some solid workplace puns then this has you covered for about three hours.
