The missions are repetitive; it's a service game like Fortnite; it doesn't feel like a Batman Arkham game, SSKTJL doesn't have a personality and iconic characteristics; and the biggest and principal issue (at least for me) its Harley Quinn is too inspired in Margot Robbie in face and in her Latin Spanish voice, is the same voice actress from the movie instead of use the Batman Arkham Knight Harley Quinn's voice actress; the face model of Harley is literally Margot Robbie (except for one or two face differences)

The combat mechanics are good, as well as the movement of the characters, which guarantees a few hours of fun killing the enemies, but that's it. Very weak and poorly developed story, even confused in many moments, not to mention the "missions", which are always the same thing.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has flashes of fun, with fluid traversal and strong voice performances breathing life into its chaotic anti-hero cast. Unfortunately, the game leans too heavily on repetitive mission design, shallow live-service mechanics, and a surprising lack of meaningful squad-based strategy. What promises to be a bold narrative is undercut by recycled objectives and boss encounters that play out the same way again and again. The result is a stylish but frustratingly hollow experience that struggles to live up to its potential

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League shows promise to begin with, providing the player with 4 iconic villains to play as. However, the game quickly becomes messy and uninteresting with its boring gameplay loop and bad storytelling. GAMEPLAY: 4/10 - The combat itself is okay, but nothing special. However besides boss fights which provide a small moment of slightly more interesting gameplay, the rest of the game is very repetitive and gets boring after the first main mission. STORY: 3/10 - The story is not particularly good and it is not fleshed out at all. This is made even worse by the fact that the game is supposed to take place in the "Arkham" universe of games, which had very compelling stories and which to most players ended perfectly with Rocksteady's previous game "Batman: Arkham Knight". The previous game had given Batman an incredible ending to his story, however this game brought him back just to kill him off in an undignified way. SOUNDTRACK: 5/10 - Nothing of note, just a middle of the road game soundtrack. CHARACTERS: 6/10 - The only thing saving this game is the characters. The main 4 have strong personalities and are generally likeable, however sometimes the excessive amounts of jokes can get very old. The rest of the characters in the game aren't particularly interesting or amazing. GRAPHICS/VISUALS: 5/10 - Looks okay, but somehow worse visually than "Batman: Arkham Knight" which came out in 2015. CUTSCENES: 5/10 - Nothing special but generally have funny moments from the main cast and occasional moments where the Justice League members look particularly daunting. Overall, Suicide Squad isn't the worst game I've ever played but it comes dangerously close to it for a game made by the same developers of the beloved Arkham series of games. Even after picking it up on a steep discount (down to £2.99) and playing through the game with a friend, I was still left feeling like the game wasn't worth it.

"Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" is an ambitious but ultimately disappointing live-service looter-shooter that struggles to justify its place in the Arkham universe. Rocksteady, known for their masterful Batman: Arkham series, takes a sharp turn with this chaotic co-op shooter, placing players in the boots of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they face a Brainiac-controlled Justice League. While the humor, character interactions, and movement mechanics show flashes of brilliance, the game is bogged down by repetitive mission design, uninspired loot mechanics, and a forced live-service structure that feels like a step backward for the studio.

Despite a mixed critical reception, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has received positive feedback from many players and reviewers for several key aspects. The Story and Characters: * A major point of praise is the game's narrative. Many critics and players have highlighted the excellent story, which serves as a fitting conclusion to Rocksteady's Arkhamverse. * The writing and humor are frequently mentioned as strong points. The banter between the members of the Suicide Squad is a standout, capturing the chaotic and irreverent tone of the comics. * The game's cutscenes are considered top-notch, with visually stunning animation and emotional facial expressions that bring the characters to life. * The character development and voice acting are highly praised, particularly the late Kevin Conroy's final performance as Batman. Gameplay and Traversal: * The gameplay, while a departure from the Arkham series' single-player focus, is described as fast, frantic, and fun. * Traversal mechanics for each character are unique and enjoyable. Zipping across Metropolis with Harley Quinn's bat-drone, using Captain Boomerang's Speed Force abilities, or soaring with Deadshot's jetpack are all cited as highlights. * The combat system is a chaotic mix of gunplay, melee attacks, and special abilities. While it can be overwhelming at first, players who take the time to learn the mechanics and customize their builds find a satisfying rhythm and a high skill ceiling. * The game is lauded for its chaotic, action-packed combat that remains engaging even after many hours of play. Visuals and World Design: * Metropolis is a visually impressive and intricately layered open-world city that provides a fun playground for the unique traversal mechanics. * The overall graphical quality of the game is considered to be genuinely industry-leading in some scenes. * The art direction and character design are also highly regarded, capturing the vibrant and colorful aesthetic of the Suicide Squad. In short, for those who can embrace the shift to a co-op looter-shooter and appreciate the game for what it is rather than what they might have expected, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League offers a rewarding experience with a compelling story, fantastic character dynamics, and an engaging, high-octane combat loop.

One of the worst game ever created, the design choices and how they handle long establised heroes are just down right terrible. A 5 year old child probably could have created a better story. All the microtransactions also is terrible.

I really liked the main campaign - the cutscenes, the characters. Pretty fun writing. The campaign ending was obviously smushed, and the "episodes" after are nothing to write home about (just watch the final ending on youtube). But the 10-11 hours before that were pretty great. Which is the perfect length in my view.

This game can be used as a benchmark for the very bottom of the gaming industry. I'm surprised she has such high grades (3.2). Well, again, if you were still paying attention to the opinions of the "critics", then this is a great example of why their opinions should be ignored.

Am shock am really shocked that such a legendary game studio like rocksteady made such a bad game. Sorry I did't mean bad game I mean terrible game I have play the batman game since forever and after batman arkham knight you release this game. What a colossal trash you made with boring repetitive mission that no one wants to do and the only time I enjoy the game was the freaking cutscene. The best part is literally you putting down the controller and doing nothing and just watch the cutscene. Not only that the cutscene has ton of cringe and jokes that don't make me or others laugh. Not only that side mission is so repetitive and trash I was literally going insane I would rather play halo infinite than this. Holy even Jesus can't save this game which no likeable characters I couldn't care less about. At first I was excited that superman was going to be in a game since forever. It's funny how superman could just wipe us out in literally seconds but of course it's the suicide squad. And the AI do I have to say more about the AI am just going to keep it short in my angry rant its trash worse than Ashley in resident evil 4 2005 at least Ashley is meaningful and being in a masterpiece **** even though the AI was not that good for its time but come on its 2024. With tons of micro transaction and over price item and battlepass that I don't care about with hollow stupid looter shooter and tons of bugs even before the game came out it got delay because of a ending bug wasting people money who bought the preorder deluxe edition. terrible live service game. Do better rocksteady. And the ending I want my money back after seeing the terrible ending am not going to say more before am going insane Am giving the rating 2 out of 10 with a bad game badge. Pretty good game. Definitely not as bad as people say it is. I kinda get the hate for the story, but I'm not the biggest Batman fan so i kinda didn't care. The gameplay is pretty fun. I didn't get bored while playing this game, and I actually kinda liked the characters. Definitely worth it on sale.

Trash. What a shame, Rocksteady. Please return to your path, you’ve strayed too far. When I remember Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham Knight, I think of great games. But this? This is suicide. Even a junior studio could do better

The movement and gunplay is decent, but holy cow are these characters obnoxious. I played when the game was almost a year old and still ran into a crazy bug. I played a couple hours of the campaign and logged off. Next time I logged in, it jumped me forward several hours in the story, so I had no idea what was happening. I had apparently skipped at least 4 hours of gameplay, since my friends who were playing separately went from being 4 hours ahead of me, to having no idea where I was.

I don't really play shooters (definitely not FPS), but this one is actually pretty fun. I did get it for free on Playstation Plus, but I wouldn't have felt bad paying $40 to $50 for this game. The combat and traversal are great. Harley uses Batman's glider and grappling hook traversal; Boomerang throws Speedforce-Boomerang to basically teleport; Deadshot uses a Jetpack; King Shark runs and leaps like the Incredible Hulk. All 4 characters can be swapped between at almost any time (except in main missions, I think) and all are fun to play as looter/shooter characters. The gunplay and melee abilities are fluid and the best part of the combat is synergizing Villain gear with their actual team ups in the comics. My effectiveness went from decent to exploding everything in huge AOEs after mixing Bane and Merlyn Gear with a few other Villain pieces. The story is decent and feels like a scenario ripped right out of American Comics (DC and Marvel) where no one dies forever and parallel Earths are a thing so after the main story ends, an endless sort of open-world and multiverse sandbox starts. It's definitely the kind of game where you can just keep playing forever as there's no real end (at least yet for me, as I've just gotten to some "Seasonal" play). I was shocked when I started playing this while it was free and I was bored one night because, the game is actually good! I heard so much hate for it and even critics seemed to pan it, but all of the criticism seems to revolve around three things: live-service and not being a narrative-driven game with a final ending; killing off Justice League members in the Rocksteady "Arkham" games (the title of the game is literally "Kill the Justice League" so what did people expect?); maybe too much "wokeness?" All of these things are fairly subjective and expectation-driven, but none of these complaints result in the game being bad from an objective point of view. Again, the mechanics of the game are great. The live service doesn't seem necessary to continue playing (unless that was the case before and isn't now that I'm playing on Playstation Plus -- so I could be wrong) and it feels like a Grand Theft Auto world with Superheroes. There are reoccurring mission structures but again, it just feels like GTA so I don't think that's a bad thing. As far as the Kill the Justice League aspect, it's DC comics. Honestly, no one stays dead forever and there are parallel Earths so it can end up a "What If" scenario at worst. They can always retcon the scenario as DC has often done in it's history so it's not anything to really take seriously. The "wokeness" is definitely in there and yes, if you're not a fan of such things it may cause you to eyeroll or facepalm a few times but other than that, I can't remember it being overwhelming. I have not bought any of the other 4 characters that become available after the main campaign ends, but you can choose to not buy the ones that you don't want or not buy any at all. Overall, I think such concerns were seized upon and amplified to be more repellant that the issue actually are in game but, that's just my subjective perspective and your results may vary. Overall, I can't see this game being less than a 6 because the mechanics are very strong. If you were expecting a structured game like the Batman: Arkham games, you may be a bit annoyed as the game plays more like GTA online. But if games like GTA and other looter/shooters are your speed or if you just like DC comics and want a fun experience, I'd give this game a solid 8. It's a fun time and a good, discounted game to try out. Don't believe the hate!

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the most disappointing games in recent memory, earning a well-deserved 0/10. It fails on every level, from its shallow, forced narrative to its repetitive gameplay and blatant virtue signaling. This game is a perfect example of everything wrong with modern AAA titles, and it does nothing to justify its existence. The Story is a complete disaster. What could have been an interesting premise about the Suicide Squad taking on the Justice League quickly devolves into a cliché-filled, predictable mess. The narrative is not only shallow but painfully formulaic, with no emotional depth or real stakes. The characters, who could have had compelling arcs, are reduced to caricatures, delivering forced jokes and playing secondary roles in a plot that has no meaningful direction. Instead of a story that explores the complexities of these antiheroes, we get a generic, uninspired battle against brainwashed superheroes. It’s a story that feels as though it was thrown together at the last minute, lacking any creative flair. The Gameplay is where the game falters even more. Instead of offering something fresh and engaging, we’re left with a repetitive, clunky mess of combat and exploration. The mechanics are awkward, and the combat feels shallow, with no real weight to the actions or abilities of the characters. Each member of the Suicide Squad may have their own set of skills, but they all feel the same in practice. The gameplay loop quickly becomes tedious and boring, as players are forced to grind through the same environments and combat sequences over and over again. The lack of innovation or excitement in the gameplay makes it feel like a cash-grab rather than a genuine attempt at delivering an enjoyable experience. The Biggest Offense comes in the form of virtue signaling. Rather than focusing on telling an interesting story or creating a fun experience, the game is completely bogged down by forced political and social messaging. The characters are written with the explicit intention of ticking boxes for modern ideological trends, and it’s painfully obvious. These forced elements disrupt the flow of the game, taking the player out of the experience and instead throwing political messages at them with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. There’s no room for nuance or storytelling; everything feels like it was shoehorned in to appease a specific agenda, and it completely ruins any sense of immersion. Graphically, the game doesn’t impress either. The animations are stiff, the environments are lifeless, and the overall art direction feels outdated. The world feels hollow, devoid of detail, and exploring it is nothing short of a chore. This is especially jarring when you consider the potential for a vibrant, chaotic world filled with dynamic action sequences and exciting environments. Instead, the game offers a bland and uninspired backdrop for its repetitive gameplay. In conclusion, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a complete and utter failure. It squanders its potential at every turn, offering a lazy, uninspired narrative, boring and repetitive gameplay, and a disturbing amount of forced political messaging. This is a game that had the potential to be fun and exciting, but instead, it’s a hollow shell of a product that misses the mark on every front. It’s a game that deserves to be forgotten, and with a 0/10 rating, it's hard to recommend it to anyone. Avoid this disaster at all costs. Good luck to Rocksteady in rebuilding their reputation. I sincerely hope they return to creating great games, especially with the rumored new Batman title.

It's not as bad as people say it is. The story is borderline pathetic, with lots and lots of issues, but there are some ok parts. There are some interesting characters with some genuinely funny moments. The game also has some really nice graphics as well. The gameplay is actually not that bad, it does get repetitive since you basically just doing the same missions over and over again, but still, it's good for a little while. The live service elements of this game are horrible, the skins they sell are stupid, the battle pass is stupid, the lame updates are stupid. It's a shame because if you strip away all the rubbish around the game, at its core it's actually not that bad. If you can get it for a very low price, then it might be worth it.

Cercate altro? Rocksteady, if somehow you don't go bankrupt after this atrocity, please learn... You don't **** on your previous beloved games. Not only is the idea of all the best DC heroes getting killed by a bunch of nobodies a real bad one; ok, I could get away with the idea since the said heroes are all being mind controlled.... but having one of these heroes being Arkham Batman is really a deal breaker. You take our beloved Arkham Batman, destroy the entire development of 5 previous games, destroy the ending of Arkham Knight in one fell swoop and on top of that have him get killed by... Harley Quin??Seriously? And you thought this was a good idea? Your game deserves the hate. Do better next time.

So the live service elements are terrible and the boss battles aren't great, but the general combat is fun and so is transversal for most of the characters. Worth trying if you can pick it up for cheap. Might want to wait a month or two though for it to allow for offline mode.
