Stars in the Trash is not the game to play to finish. It is an experience to have and let is consume you with everything it has in store. Sometime the pacing goes out of place, yet the overall experience it gives is something magical.

If you are an animal lover who doesn’t mind a little jumping, climbing and lighthearted cat fighting, you will surely fall in love with the Disney-esque short but beautiful Stars in the Trash.

Perfectly capturing the feeling (and look) of a classic animated movie, Stars in the Trash is a short but delightful game that puts you in control of a mischievous cat. There's an enjoyable adventure to be had, but I've had just as much fun 'catting around', knocking stuff off and being a furry little nuisance. This really is a wonderful little treat.

Though it could use a bit more polish, Stars in the Trash is a beautifully crafted game showcasing a love for old-school animation and pets. It’s an easy choice for fans of both.

The animations in Stars in the trash are really well done and are reminiscent of the old cartoons of yesteryear. A cute adventure game, which is unfortunately played through far too quickly.

This is a game that I would recommend to anyone with a love for animal welfare. Its hard to imagine a game with the emotional depth of a disney classic a meaningful message and so much effort and soul in each part of it. But this is it. It's sufficiently well paced, and it will tug at your heartstrings. I think this game may not see as much acclaim as it deserves in this time where people favour gameplay hours to dollars spent. But I'm telling you only a handful of games in library of several hundred have left me with an experience I can actually conjure in my mind at a moments notice. This is one of 3 such titles and I feel like the memories I have of it are something I want to treasure forever.

Stars in the Trash me ha sorprendido muchísimo. Es de esos juegos que, sin grandes pretensiones, te acaban tocando por dentro. Lo curioso es que no tiene ni una sola línea de diálogo, pero logra contar una historia llena de emoción y sentido. Controlas a Moka, un gato que se escapa de casa, y a partir de ahí empieza una aventura que mezcla ternura, tristeza y esperanza. Todo se entiende solo con las animaciones, la música y los gestos de los personajes. Y es increíble lo bien que funciona. No hace falta que nadie hable para saber exactamente qué están sintiendo. Visualmente es una pasada. Todo está dibujado a mano, con un estilo que recuerda a las películas de animación clásicas. Hay escenas que parecen auténticos cuadros, y los escenarios están llenos de detalles que te hacen parar solo para mirar. El ritmo también está muy bien llevado: no es largo, pero tampoco se siente corto. Tiene sus momentos de calma y sus partes más intensas, todo muy bien medido. Además, la banda sonora acompaña perfectamente, subrayando las emociones sin forzarlas. Lo terminé con una sonrisa y un nudo en la garganta. Stars in the Trash es uno de esos juegos que demuestran que no hacen falta palabras para contar algo bonito, triste o profundo.

The game is rather short, but it has a beautiful artstyle. A real pleasure to watch the graphics and animations here. In the beginning, it felt a bit random story-wise, I didn't see where the game was trying to go, but the story soon turns into a very emotional affair with both ups and downs. The story itself is told elegantly through the action alone, no words or voices (except meows).

Stars in the Trash is a stunningly beautiful game with an amazingly detailed story that is told all through the game play as a cat interacting with the world. For Moka the cat, there are enjoyable moments (napping and scratching), fun moments (knocking things over) and annoying moments (reaching the treats only to be...) and moments of achievement (finally getting outside on his own). The outside world has its joys (running free and eating grass) and there are new friends to meet (people and animals) but there is also stress (the kennelman and rats). The story is a combination of charm and accuracy because life on the streets is harsh for animals. The game depicts this in a way that is good because it is stressful but not overly traumatic. Some of the puzzles are rather easy to figure out but the gymnastics and timing involved in some of the others mean I will not get the achievement for completing the game with some of my nine lives left. A controller is recommended by the developers... That being said, there is no reason to rush through this lovely game. I cannot imagine the time and dedication involved in creating all of the watercolor art for Stars in the Trash, but I have the utmost respect and appreciation for the creators because it really makes Stars in the Trash such a special game. It is amazing to think that a small studio like Valhalla Cats can create such a truly great game just by taking their love of animals and dedication to art to heart. They have pets they love and realize the problems that exist for so many animals. They have donated large amounts to shelters not because they have to but because they know it is the right thing to do and they "need" to help. I will lastly point out, that the creators at Valhalla Cats realize what our pets mean to us and asked for photographs of our pets that have died. It was very touching to see my cat Slinky on the wall of remembrance while I was playing Stars in the Trash. Thank you for doing such a kind thing for people. I highly recommend Stars in the Trash. A small studio dedicated to a vision has created a great game!

Only worth 2 dollar (not 15) - 1 hour long. -very short 2d animation platformer simple game, expensive, glitches and feels cut content rushed game. -only good cute and animation.
