Spikey Walls
Nothing is interesting about it. Just skip and ignore this blatant cash grab, unless there is a dire need to play Flappy Bird on the Wii U.
If having a party friendly version of Flappy Bird does not fill a need in your Wii U library, pass on Spikey Walls.
Still, taken totally at face value, this isn't a great game — and regardless of what kind of comment the developer is trying to make, that is surely all that truly matters at the end of the day.

This game should not exist. This is a clone of Flappy Bird. The only assets made to create this game are a black and white bird, a brick wall background, spiky walls, a text box on how to play, monotonous looping music, a start up screen that keeps score and the play game feature. There is no sound effects, no quality control, no quality, and no uniqueness, whatsoever. The only thing that I can compliment is its possibility to be on the current gen console. #My 2nd Top-played Wii U game. Overall, the worst pay-to-play game I've ever played: 1/100

Even at $0.99 I still feel ripped off. This game was meant to be a clone of Flappy Bird. However, Spikey Walls is too easy. I find myself saying "I should have died there" because I can fly through a spike just fine. The hit boxes are inconsistent. The music runs in a short loop, and is playing constantly while Spikey Walls is running. At the end of the loop, the music forces itself back to the beginning with no smooth transitioning. The sound gets so annoying that I can't play the game without turning the sound off on my TV. Also, the game LAGS! I've died multiple times due to a drop in frame rate, and with such simple graphics, I think it's completely unacceptable. If you've seen the trailer on the eShop, you've seen the entire game. That music in the trailer, that's all you get. Save your money, and get a better, free clone of Flappy Bird elsewhere.
