For fans of the likes of Vampire Survivors, there's an awful lot to like here. Soulstone Survivors not only looks fantastic, but it packs in a lot of content. It might not be the most challenging of Survivors-likes, but if you're cool with feeling like an unstoppable badass, you're going to love this.

An absolute gem **** that takes the action roguelike genre to thrilling bullet hell extremes. Throughout its time in early access, it has added multiple game modes and characters, each with unique skill trees and special abilities. This game will have you crafting insanely powerful builds with wicked synergies.

Почему бы при повышении уровня не сделать окно со всеми активными навыками, чтобы игрок мог сам изучать, что они дают, насколько полезны, и самостоятельно строить свой билд — а не выбивать их с помощью рун или надеяться на рандом? В игре также есть проблема с читаемостью атак противников: когда весь экран забит эффектами твоих собственных умений, становится физически невозможно понять, что именно наносит тебе урон и убивает. Даже высокий уровень прокачки не всегда спасает от этого.

Soulstone Survivors is a razor-sharp, endlessly replayable power fantasy wrapped in smart systems, slick controls, and relentless style. With its deep build customization, satisfying progression, and chaotic yet strategic gameplay, it doesn’t just survive the arena roguelite genre, it masters it.

For anybody who enjoyed Vampire Survivors and wanted something resembling a full-throated next step of that formula, Soulstone Survivors fits the bill handily. Though the small map sizes and occasional slowdown take the sheen of the package a little, Soulstone Survivors nevertheless makes a compelling case for itself as the next essential Survivors title that is very much worth of your hard earned cash.
