Just a mobile endless runner that still gets updated today, can be kinda hard the further you get, lots of characters to play as

An insultingly simplistic endless runner that does little to substantiate the presence of numerous microtransactions. History will not be kind to this game - however, it is a nice-looking game, especially considering that it was released on iOS in 2013. Ultimately, it is vapid and overly simplistic.

Very chill and cool game. It may have some bugs, but the game gives you moment to spend on playing than wasting your time on waiting for a dentist appointment ;)

Sonic Dash Is An Endless Runner Where You Jump Dodge And Spindash While You Defeat Enemies And Collect Rings. It Controls By Swiping The Screen. You Can Unlock Many Characters Like Rouge,Movie Sonic,Santa Clause Big,And So Many More. You Can Unlock Characters Through Events Or Unlocking Worlds. The Game Is Still Being Supported Even To This Day With Events Happening All The Time. While Its Not Like Sonic Generations Level Of Perfection. Its Definitely NOT Like Sonic Spinball Or Sonic Battle. Overall Sonic Dash Is 7/10

It's pretty fun, albeit basic. For mobile standards, this is one of the better games you could play. Probably a good game for the toilet. Not a must-have, but still good.

Sonic Dash was a fun mobile game back in its day, which was fixed with some of its newest updates! However, I’m not going to argue the fact that this game was only good around its release, and eventually gets boring after a few tries.

Very fun and enjoyable and Sonic works really well for an endless runner, but there are two major cons this game possesses which are high priced characters, well I say high priced because a currency for buying characters called Red Star Rings can be really rare when playing and this doesn't really stand out well compared to other games of the same genre, so you may be familiar with some commonly used assets that seem quite dull now.

Let's see. Graphics: 9/10 Very beatiful graphics for a mobile game, although sometimes the light blue lines in the characters are notable. Sto... ehm, wat? Oh yeah, ain't having a story so, lets talk about Microtransactions! 7/10 Yeah, lets talk about the worst thing in the entire goddamn game. The microtransactions. Altough getting Red Rings is easier than what it was before, i think before it was so user-hostile it made the game really bad. Despite this, i do think its at least now not as exploited as other games in the market can be. Gameplay 10/10 The best thing in the game. Contains very fluid and responsive controls, has fast levels and is a lot of fun overall. If only the rest of the game was like this... OVERALL: Buy it if you don't mind microtransactions. Otherwise, don't even bother. FINAL SCORE: 9/10

Sonic Dash is a classic endless runner. Swipe left and right to change lanes, swipe up to jump, down to spin dash, and tap to attack. The controls are responsive, so no problems here. The visuals are okay, as is the music and sounds. You get a selection of the most popular Sonic characters to play as. These can be either purchased with real money or with red rings, the game's premium currency. Sadly, money is all this game is about. Ads are everywhere. They pop up in between runs. You can watch ads to get an extra run after you die. Watch more ads to get an extra spin on the wheel of fortune. It comes across as desperate, and it cheapens the Sonic brand. The game itself is quite boring, too. Soon it just feels like a chore. You log in once a day to grab the free goodies and that's it. Even the game levels are designed to make you pay real money. Obstacles are placed in such a manner you often can't see what's coming next. You roll under an obstacle only to fall into a chasm you couldn't see. This forces you to pay the premium red rings (which are purchased with real money) if you wish to continue. You can do missions and daily challenges (you collect 4 pieces of a puzzle and get a prize once a day) to earn free red rings. For every 3 completed missions you are given 2 red rings. The missions range from "jump over 20 enemies" to "dash 3 times in a run". They're all very easy to complete and I had no problems whatsoever, until I ran into a mission that required me to complete the daily challenge twice in a row. I did the daily challenge for over two weeks in a row, and the mission never completed. You can skip missions you are unable to complete, but it costs you 10 red rings. You know, the premium currency you pay real money for. Sonic Dash is a disgusting money grab and there's nothing genuine about it. Sega proves once again it has zero respect for Sonic fans. Don't let them profit off of you and avoid this game like a plague. If you want a good endless runner game, try Lara Croft: Relic Run instead.

A very nice twist on the Sonic formula, with the endless runner style. Simple, intuitive, how far can YOU run with the world's fastest thing alive? All I can say is that this game could really cut down red-ring prices and needs, or at least make red rings more abundant.

Windows 8 Phone Version: Yet another Sonic racing game, if there wasn’t enough already, but now this time the Windows 8 users get a chance to be the worlds fastest hedgehog in Sonic Dash, will it get set ‘n’ go to be a sure fire winner or will it get fried like an egg …. man? , here is our review Sonic seems to be everywhere, on every console and now it would seem on every mobile device and gadget, so if your a fan of the Temple Run series or you just like Sonic the Hedgehog then you have most likely already downloaded this and gave it a go or if you haven’t yet why haven’t you, its a good game and you should give it a ‘Spin’. The game itself looks beautiful, with lots of colours and smooth graphic but that’s that goes in the way of being pretty the rest is more annoying than anything on the Windows phone (using a HTC Windows 8s Phone). Gameplay The idea of the game is to dodge oncoming objects and make it to the goal, so that means jumping over baddies or using your spin attack or just moving from side to side to collect rings, the more rings you collect the more ‘Dash’ you will build to do a speed dash which is kind of like the Sonic Boot from the other Sonic games which gives you a short burst of speed, this will take out the objects in your way so its useful to collect as many rings as you kind. Moving from left to right by swiping your finger in the direction on the phone screen to collect the rings / power-ups, by swiping up will make Sonic jump or swipe down will duck under objects or do a roll attack to take out the baddies, sometimes you will need to jump and tap the screen to attack an enemy, there is moments where you are asked to swipe the direction shown on the screen in mid air after a jump to collect extra rings. On the Windows Phone (HTC Windows 8s Phone) the game really struggles, which means at times you swipe the screen and Sonic doesn’t respond which means you will lose you rings or lose an life which can be very annoying, the game lags during the jump sky moments where quick time events (QTE) are needed, you swipe the screen and just sit there and Sonic doesn’t do anything, just spend half the time swiping a number of times to move the blue hedgehog. Graphic Outstanding graphic for a smart phone, with no pop ups and good draw distance with the graphic I cannot fault a thing, bright colours and clear level designs, which keeps Sonic true to the more recent Sonic game levels. The character design also is really good as you progress through the game you can unlock other characters, these are Sonic’s friends and foes from over the years which are all every detailed. LifeSpan Due to the issues outlined above with the gameplay sadly Sonic Dash wont last much longer on my Windows Phone, its a shame but if the phone could handle the game a lot better the lifespan would be prefect, as there is some much that will keep you coming back each and every day to unlock rewards / daily challenges and also collect free rings to purchase powerups or enable you to unlock more characters, like many games if gives you the game for free but to unlock many powerups and items you will need to pay your hard earned cash but I wont be adding my card details anytime soon. There is also a number of daily tasks or things which you could do which could earn you more coins/points to unlock extras, sadly the Facebook login / invite friends doesn’t work on the Windows 8s phone, it allows you to login then takes you back to your phones home screen. Overall With all that said it is a good game, it has been enjoyable but the negative factors out weigh the positive factors but as the game is free I would say to give it at least a go, if you have a more powerful smart touchscreen phone / PC or tablet the game may run a lot better than what it does on the HTC Windows 8s . One of the main things to remember about any game is "if you can cheat to win...cheat". Unfortunately that doesn't apply to games developers who decide to play dirty with players. Some obstacles are totally impossible to dodge. Nice jump, oh that was a close one, buff | ...unavoidable thing right around the corner. Sega have clearly invested quite a bit on the app as The graphics are good. You can even play as tails or knuckles..assuming you have a handful of red stars. But that will cost you in real cash as it can take a miracle to earn just a couple of them while playing the game. Sega could've made this the best runner game on ios but chose not to. Wasted opportunity. 5/10

It's an endless runner. If you find them boring after awhile, then you can expect to find the same results here. I for one enjoy the way the obstacles are set up in Sonic Dash, really requiring focus and finesse. There are a few spots where it's very tricky, but learning how to evade them becomes relatively satisfying. SEGA is usually pretty good about keeping the action going with regular global challenges, puzzle piece collection, and other assortments to allow you to gain access to most anything. There are boatloads of IAP, and it is frustrating that how aggressive they are, but the global challenge, the prize wheel, and the puzzle collections, in addition to the various missions, should allow you to collect everything without purchasing them. Plus the game gives SEGA's various characters at least a little love, and the score enhancers and improvements over the years that this game has been on the app store has made it better, though I wish there was more music, a wider variety of environments and more boss type encounters, but it's an endless runner, I can't expect too much. Ultimately, it's Temple Run coated with Sonic. There are some things that are unique to Sonic Dash, but aside from that, if you're sick of Temple Run, don't be surprised that you don't enjoy Sonic Dash.

Fun for a while, but like most of endless running games, it gets boring pretty quickly. There is some new things, but overall, it is a fun game if you are bored.

Pretty decent game, but running into random objects that come out of nowhere ruin the experience a bit for me. It's definitely a bit better than Temple Run, but I still think subway surfers has it beat.
