This is my favorite shooter ever. I just love the gameplay and all the different ways you can approach each mission. Killing **** will never not be awesome.

Mafia: The Old Country has one of my favorite narratives in any game I’ve ever played. It was so thoughtfully and confidently put together and I had such a good time experiencing this story. For the first few hours I found the gameplay slightly dull, but the more I played the more I liked it, and by the end I was loving shooting and stabbing guys and I had tears in my eyes from the beautiful story. I will say I do think it feels unfinished overall, and I’m not talking about the world not having anything to do after the campaign is finished, I just mean that it feels like some animations and visual assets are missing. But overall, I am very happy with how this game came out.

What other game lets you experience the exaggerated swagger of a black teen?

I had a lot of fun for around 30 hours, but then the gameplay started to feel repetitive and dull, and the story was nothing special so I ended up quitting. However, it is my favorite Assassin’s Creed game (I’ve only played Unity forward).

I personally found the story basic and forgettable, but the world and gameplay more than made up for it. I would absolutely recommend this game if you enjoy shooting, driving, and shooting and driving. And god damn this is one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever laid eyes on.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I absolutely love everything about it. It is such a joyful and fun experience that I think everyone should try. There’s nothing else like it.

It’s a game about causing chaos and it lets you do that in just about any way you can think of. This is the first Saints Row I’ve played so I don’t have the bias from playing the previous ones, but as a game where you get superpowers and get to do absolutely anything you want, it’s phenomenal.

The greatest gore system ever made was wasted on this game. That and the mind-blowing graphical quality, which I don’t think enough people mention, are the only good traits this game has. Everything else is either undercooked, outdated, or just not good.

Dying Light has one of the strongest and most realized atmospheres of any game I’ve ever played, and the gameplay is so fun! I don’t know if I’ll ever get tired of eviscerating zombies; Techland truly mastered the zombie game. You think you’ve felt true fear? Wait until night comes in Dying Light.

Rockstar Editor is the single greatest addition to any game and should be required in every single game.

God the ending destroyed me. I was absolutely addicted to this game for like 2 weeks straight. It has one of the most gripping and entertaining stories I’ve ever played. My only gripe is the post-campaign gameplay gets pretty dull and I wish I had more reasons to come back.

This has been one of my favorite games since I was 10. I’m so glad it’s backwards compatible on the Series S so I still get to play this masterpiece.

It starts. That’s it that’s the only positive. Actually maybe that’s a negative because when it starts you then “get” to play the game. Boooo

Fourth time’s a charm! Even though I loved the PSVR1 version of this game, this is undeniably 100x better. I’m so glad they decided to make this and didn’t just give up on VR altogether because Hitman in VR is an absolute blast and works so well in the medium. If you have a PS5 and a PSVR2 and Hitman 3 and HAVEN’T gotten the VR version wtf are you doing??? It’s $10 for an entirely new way to experience the game! Also they’ve just added VR support for Freelancer and that means you can now play this game in VR infinitely!! Give this a go please, let IO know that they crushed it.

Wow this game is good. I initially didn’t really love it when I first played it back in 2020 but I’m so glad I decided to give it another shot because I was hooked for like a week and a half straight. The combat is some of the best and most fun I’ve ever experienced and, although I wasn’t super into the story at first, I became more engaged as it went on and found myself skipping side missions just so I could see what happened next in the main story, and I cried several times. If you’re into samurai or 1200s Japan or just poignant storytelling with interesting and complex characters and you still somehow haven’t played this, do it. Now. Even if you don’t care about the story, the gameplay is so fun to master and makes you feel so powerful as you just mow through thousands of Mongol invaders. 9/10 fun times.
