A pretty entertaining game that took me just over 17 hours to complete 100%. You quickly learn how to control it. It’s reminiscent of the good old 2D games. If you enjoy games like Zelda: A Link to the Past, there’s a very good chance you’ll enjoy this one as well. However, there are a few minor bugs that keep me from giving it a top rating. I experienced a few instances where the character would freeze for a few seconds, allowing me to turn but not move, and there were moments where enemies moved inside walls or other inaccessible areas. That said, the game is relatively inexpensive, so I’d say you get a lot of value for your money.

It's a pretty good little top down LTTP-like multiplayer game. The game has a lot going for it: the leveling up is fun, exploring the worlds with the different powers is fun, the dungeons are challenging. The game is let down, however, by a host of issues: online multiplayer is only somewhat stable, there are a ton of weird bugs/glitches, the enemy power levels feel wildly unfair at times and unbalanced, and the dungeons become repetitive after a while. Still, I love the core of this game and would love for the devs to make a sequel that improves upon this foundation.

This is a gem ****, I wish there were dozens more like it. This is the type of game I am regularly searching for to play alongside my kids. It takes heavy inspiration from 2D Zelda games which in my opinion is a good thing. The fact that it takes all the charm, character, puzzles, fun combat etc of a Zelda game, but then allows you to play with four players is just incredible! I have not played this game alone, but it shines as one of the best multiplayer experiences I have had. So much fun! If you enjoy couch coop games then please try it! And also check out our all time favorite multiplayer game - Towerfall! Both games have such charm, and care put into them. They are timeless and I’m so glad we discovered them.

The game is ideal for switch. I was playing it while watching a series on TV and I had a great time. It is challenging at first but it has satisfying game loop. You go to the dungeon, you slay some monsters, you die, and then you can buy upgrades. It quickly becomes easier. It has some village management and cute Legend of Zelda like world and dungeons with plenty of secrets and puzzles. I had a smile on my face almost the entire time during playing the title. Later on, you are getting access to more advanced mechanics and you can spend hours searching for collectibles. I stopped after completing the main story but still it was a lot of fun.

Love the game! Just wish it had more to do and more dungeon to play and what's up with not being able to play the whole area's??? Or when will they be available? For the price not worth the play if you can finish it in day's

I tried the demo first, which I highly recommend. The demo completely sold me on the game, then I played it on multiplayer with my daughter which took it up another level entirely. Basically the developers took "Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past", improved the basic game mechanics like movement speed and fighting, gave it some basic world-building elements, then slapped multiplayer on top. If you loved Link to the Past, you will love this. Sure there are some gotchas with multiplayer but this game is a gem. Plus you can sometimes get it on sale on **** (I got it for $12 which is a steal). Highly, highly recommend. 9/10

A fun adventure in the links of four swords adventure. Would be a 9 if there wasn’t so many minor problems (especially in multiplayer) that quickly stack up (too much screen shake when someone gets hit in multiplayer to know what’s going on, too easy to get soft locked in multiplayer, the screen spreads out too much to see things like pressure plates) but other then that, this was a very enjoyable experience, with very good multiplayer. Also the reviewer that gave this game a 70% for not enough “character development” is stupid, cause that’s not what this game is about at all
