A fun adventure in the links of four swords adventure. Would be a 9 if there wasn’t so many minor problems (especially in multiplayer) that quickly stack up (too much screen shake when someone gets hit in multiplayer to know what’s going on, too easy to get soft locked in multiplayer, the screen spreads out too much to see things like pressure plates) but other then that, this was a very enjoyable experience, with very good multiplayer. Also the reviewer that gave this game a 70% for not enough “character development” is stupid, cause that’s not what this game is about at all

The Jackbox Party Pack 6

This is, in my opinion, the best Jackbox party pack. Even though a lot of people complain about reusing old ideas, I think they do it in a refreshing way. Most games are enjoyable, compared to the usual only two or three good ones per pack. Murder mystery party 2 is a great sequel that adds onto the first one very well. Role model is a cute little personality game, which can be pretty fun. Joke boat sounds absolutely earful, but if your playing with creative people, it works out well and is really funny. Dictionarium is not horrible, it just doesn’t seem fun. You basically make up a definition for a word, then make up a word for the definition, then make a sentence with the word. Not great, but not horrible either. Push the button is a very interesting one. Close to Fakin it, you have to guess who the alien is by putting people in groups of two and testing them against each other. This one, while it can be fun, is confusing and can be bad if your playing with slow people. Overall, great selection, if these game sounds like something you would play, get it.

I literally made an account on this website just so I could post a review about this game because I couldn’t find one anywhere else. To star off, I’m reviewing this the same way I would review any indie $6 game. Also I haven’t completed it, and if you keep reading, you’ll see why. First, it controls well, I’ve had no problems from my experience on messed up controls or frame drops (though it could later in-game). The graphics, while limited, are fine. I never usually have a problem with them. The premise of the game and fighting it fine, but not great. It’s just a twin stick shooter, and that’s really it. You can “level up” and stuff, but it’s not fully realized. Which brings me to my first and biggest problem. The game is ridiculously boring. There is nothing new, ever. All the “loot” just increases stats, your weapons all feel the same, with “different speeds and special attacks” and the map layouts is confusing and headache giving. I literally, 30 minutes in, decided to not explore everything, and just try to rush through the game, and it was hardly better. You get nothing for exploring, besides the same loot you can get from going as fast as you can. The “dungeons” in the game all feel the same even though they are drastically different layouts, because anything is rarely added. And even then, why would I care, if I’m not being rewarded in any way. There is also parts of the game where your in one block wide hallways, which makes dodging impossible. This technically wouldn’t be too terrible, but sadly, it gets worse. There is so many small details that are so noticeable that make the game just that much worse. Like, there is no text in the game, which normally is fine, but makes it so finding what a symbol means what for an item hard to do because the picture sometimes doesn’t loom very good. Also the game doesn’t tell what, something like 1 defense means. Does it mean I block 1 damage, or what? There is also 16 different which select inventory slots, but the only consumable I found was food a.k.a. Healy items. Some more problems include there is small breakable objects you can find, which is kind of fun to break, but then you find bushes that take like 5 seconds to break, which wouldn’t be bad, if they usually didn’t stack them in places you couldn’t walk past and you had to break several. The first forced dungeon in the game you had to go back and forth between two areas, and there was a group of bushes that you had to break at least 3 to get through, and they would regenerate every time you went through the area again. Also, there is a meter that fills up i Think every time you kill an enemy, and once full, releases a “special attack” which makes you weapon super strong and big for a short time, but it is way too powerful, and goes off as soon as it is full, which means you can get it after killing the last enemy in an area, which means you wasted it. Also, it can’t, for whatever reason, break the breakable items, meaning you can get trapped until you use it all. Also, whenever you flip a lever or something that’s suppose to change something in a dungeon, it gives no indication on what it did. I really hate to be bashing on this game, because it’s cheap, indie, and made by one guy, but holy crap the game just ain’t that fun. Enemies feel cheap and annoying, while the map feels uninspired. If it makes up for it though, the music is great, though feels almost out of place. Also this post is way too long.
