Hardcore Robocop fans should definitely give the game a rental, because regardless of the game's mediocrity, it still offers the experience of being Robocop. The majority of gamers will be unsatisfied by the lack of pulse pounding action and frenetic pace that is the staple of most titles in the genre.

Take away the Robocop license, pop culture sound bytes and you've got a totally generic FPS on your hands that is completely forgettable.

A lack of online play and multiplayer extras don't help, and the pace of the game just seems to grind almost to a halt.
