The major characters are all here and in full action, giving a decent variety of fighters to choose from. However, the bland, uninspired combat system leaves something to be wished, no matter how many Rave and Shadow Stones materialize onscreen.

A pretty simplistic game and many people might look at this as a bad thing but I see this as actually what makes the game so fun.

I was surprised to find a decent 4 player brawler in the same vein as "Power Stone." While this game is not perfect, it is a decent game that you will gain several hours of enjoyment out of, especially playing against your friends.

I've had this game since I was a kid And, Although I know absolutely nothing about Rave Master It doesn't stop me from enjoying this game. It's nothing special, but it's still really fun. And it's made me interested in checking out the actual series. Also the credit song is awesome.

I do admittedly have some nostalgia for Rave Master, as it is a game I thoroughly enjoyed during my childhood. The plot follows the anime's story very faithfully, with the English voice cast reprising their roles (though not quite with the best sound recording equipment). Combat is very simple, especially if you've played Power Stone, though some abilities being locked behind certain characters (like Haru with the Ten Powers sword, or Musica with Silver) is a nice attention to detail. The game is also on the shorter side, without much aside from multiplayer, a faithful enough story mode up to a certain point in the anime, and an interesting "create your own story" mode. Not revolutionary by any means, but a fun romp for fans of Hiro Mashima's works.

This is Powerstone with a Rave Master reskin. It is definitely FUN. But it needs a makeover, has some balance issues with the characters, and doesn't even do the entire story of Rave Master.

It is nothing that will compete next to "Halo 2" and "GTA," but it is still a pretty good fighting game that is based on a Anime cartoon.

It isn't a bad game per se, but I'm relatively certain that it's only going to mean something to Rave Master fans, otherwise I'd suggest you pass.

It won't make GameCube owners forget about "Super Smash Bros. Melee," but it's a worthy alternative if you think characters with spiked hair and furrowed brows are cool, feel there aren't enough fighting games that let you change into smoke, or don't mind a special move that causes you to dance like John Travolta.

While I thoroughly enjoyed Rave Master: Special Attack Force on GBA for its simplistic play control and Ranking mode, Rave Master for GameCube didn't quite measure up to the Rave-olution.
50
The mediocre level designs, awful voice acting, spotty controls, and the boring/mindless Story Mode keep it from being as cool as its box art suggests.

The worst fighting game of all time. Worse than "Vs," even worse than Evil Zone. If you play it...I'm afraid you may lose your sense of taste.
