Protoxide: Death Race is an enjoyable enough racer, with a good amount of content. While the gameplay never really excels, there's also very little wrong with it, meaning just about anyone can pick it up in short bursts and feel satisfied.

Great game with speed driven battles. It has a nice campaign mode and wifi multiplayer, so you can play single, or against real opponent. Downside is a little outdated graphics. Its no the best of all time, but definitely a fun game to play.

The online mode shows promise, but cheap computer-controlled opponents and a curious lack of excitement make Protoxide one for dedicated combat racers only.
