An enhanced port of the classic SNES racer with improved graphics and support for 4 players. [Feb 2003, p.97]

One of the best racing games on a portable ever.

As you can probably tell from this review, we at TotalGames.net were just slightly impressed by F-Zero. If you've got yourself a GBA, you really have to buy this.

Similar al F-Zero de SNES me disgusta la forma en la que los autos aparecen para estorbar, no los autos en si, mas bien la forma de spawn que es problematica, la variedad de contenido es buena (Máquinas y Circuitos), completado en Master.

Variety in a racing game is a must. Courses need to feel unique, and maintain a steady difficulty curve throughout the game. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity seems to be aware of this in full, but chooses to ignore it at points. Some courses in this game feel unique, standing out in a sea of other courses that blend together. There's certainly a good game here, and I'd recommend giving it a go if you're into F-Zero. However, I would stress that later entries in the series such as F-Zero GP Legend manage to do a far superior job on the same original console, and this game feels a little more dated than perhaps it should, especially when comparing these games side by side.

This game definitely stays true to the excellence that is the F-Zero series revamped to suit portability. This game is definitely worth a buy if you own a GBA.

Impressive version of the SNES classic that works well on the Advance. In fact as a one player game, I'd say it's a little better than Mario Kart.

It's extremely fast, it's even more intense, and it has replay value to boot. What more could you ask for in an arcade racer?

The game can get rather frustrating because of the control scheme, but once you have them mastered it can be quite fun.

Represents a very purified experience, which is better suited for the occasional quick thrill, than hours of immersive play.

Graphically, the Game Boy Advance comfortably does the game justice.

Very solid and under appreciated F-Zero game. The game is addicting once you get used to the controls. Also, the music is great (especially Tenth East Zone)
