Nintendo did it again. An all time classic. One of the best games ever made.

I love just building stuff. The game is so creative and there's always something to do like, Thinking of your next project, Grinding Resources, Building things, Terraforming and so much more! And you can build so much with the 5 main areas (Withered Wasteland, Rocky Ridges, Bleak Beach, Sparkling Skylands and Pallet Town {renamable}) AND cloud islands which you can create many of so you'll never run out of places to build and even if you aren't building you can summon tons of different pokemon with habitats so you have that to do while waiting for resources or just not building. There are also many iconic lines like "Lets get this place HUMID!" and "I...I Tripped" (which inspired the meme I...I threw up). If you have a Switch 2 or are planning to get one you should buy the game with it.

It is an ok spin off game but a little flat in gameplay. Most of your missions are ro create habits and attracting pokemon. I must have put in 70 hours easy before finishing it.

When Pokemon Pokopia was announced, I thought to myself that it was basically Pokemon Animal Crossing, which is a cool concept, but I wasn't sure how interested I would personally be. When the game launched and all of a sudden everyone in the world was buying Switch 2s just to play it, I decided to download it and give it a go, and yep, it hooked me immediately. I personally love puzzles and helping other people, and this game is all about solving puzzles and helping all the Pokemon you meet. Right as I was starting to feel like an area was looking pretty good, I would discover a whole new area to fix or solve a problem. I really enjoyed the different areas in the game and how each has its own Pokemon and issues to figure out. I, just like most people, was totally addicted to this game from start to finish, and I really enjoyed the storyline of each area. I am not sure if anyone can relate, but I had absolutely no idea how the game was going to end, and so when the credits did roll, I was a little surprised and sad it was over. Once all the main issues were solved and I discovered all the different areas, there is still lots of stuff to do, Pokemon to find, and of course, stuff to build. I thought it was cool that you even get your own blank area to build what you'd like. I give Pokemon Pokopia a 9/10, and while I still have questions about the lore regarding what exactly happened to this Pokemon world, the developers did a fantastic job blowing everyone's reasonable expectations out of the water with the Switch 2's first arguable console seller post-launch.

Really enjoyable game. I got a bit burned out after a while, but this game really has tons of content with lots of room for creativity. I enjoy seeing Pokemon in this context and I definitely appreciate the mouse mode controls, they make building much nicer.

Hands down the best switch 2 game right now. This is one of the best cozy games I’ve ever played and having Pokémon included makes it even more iconic. The only reason it gets a 9 is because of its sometimes grinding tasks and sometimes not as exciting gameplay. Would highly recommend!

This game is an absolute gem! I have well over 250 hours into this game and I'm still having a blast and discovering new recipes, items and secrets. I can't tear myself away from this game and am so excited for the first wave of the DLC! I'm positive that it'll be great! Hoping for even more DLC after these three waves! If you enjoyed Animal Crossing I'd highly recommend this game even if, like me, you've never played another Pokemon game. This is my all time favorite game. I never thought anything would take that spot away from Animal Crossing for me, especially not a Pokemon game. lol. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

This game offers hundreds of hours full of content and encounters with different pokemon. Unfortunately there is too much time of loading between areas, witch get annoying when you unlock every island and start to hop between them.

This game is much better than it seems at first glance. Tasks such as gathering resources, which may normally feel tedious in other games, actually seem fun in Pokopia. It’s fun to run around the world, talking to the Pokemon, and building cool stuff. However, this game really shines in its story. It does a good job of feeding you details throughout the game, and I don’t want to spoil it, but the story is one of the best in any Pokemon game imo. My main complaint is that the gameplay feels boring after completing the story content, but this is still a wonderfully made game.

Pokemon Pokopia may be the best pokemon game ever made and I'm not overreacting. Like all Nintendo games, it starts simple and small and it progressively becomes more and more complex and large. When you start to think that it's getting boring, the game introduces more unique mechanics that completely change your gameplay. It's a masterpiece.

The Mainline Pokémon titles by Game Freak continue to be Horrible, Low Quality, Garbage, Cash Grabs. Once they got rid of Junichi Masuda, the entire franchise Quality Wise went down the drain. The only reason Pokemon still does so well is due to nostalgia, casuals, and new players that never experienced the greatness that were the GBA and DS Pokémon titles. Thankfully, this game Was Not Made By Game Freak. While the base gameplay is alright, its too safe, simple, and the areas are too small. They did not do enough for this game. Again, it isn't bad but it could have been so much better. They announced DLC but the Price is Horrible. They Over Charge for Pokémon Games and DLC because they know people who don't value their money will purchase it. The ELC is way too expensive, so is the base game in my opinion. I would have gave the base game a higher score but Nintendo decided to make this a Game-Key Card also known as a Fake Physical Copy with No Data on the Cartridge. I already hate that Nintendo introduced this format for 3rd Party Developers because it is being took advantage of for Greed and is actively destroying the Gaming Landscape as a whole. Do to being a Fake Physical Cartridge. I do not recommend. Do Not Support These Anti Consumer Practices. It makes the entire gaming landscape worse for everyone.

For a company that attack others with game mechanic they didnt even invent, they does pretty much use the game mechanics of other game and mesh it into this one

Pokémon Pokopia is everything I hoped it would be and somehow even more. It takes the Pokémon universe in a completely different direction and proves that the franchise doesn't need battles to be engaging. Building, exploring, and watching the world come to life alongside Pokémon is incredibly satisfying. What impressed me the most is how relaxing the game feels while still giving you meaningful progression. Every new area, every Pokémon you meet, and every project you complete feels rewarding. The world is beautiful, full of charm, and packed with small details that make you want to keep playing for hours. The soundtrack is wonderful, the art style is gorgeous, and the story was much more emotional than I expected. This is one of those rare games that constantly puts a smile on your face. If you're expecting a traditional Pokémon game, this isn't it—and that's exactly why it's so special. Game Freak took a risk, and it paid off. In my opinion, this is not only one of the best Pokémon spin-offs ever made, but one of the best cozy games I've ever played. A masterpiece. 10/10.

I wanted to hate this game with it being a $70 game from Nintendo on a keycard and not even a real cartridge. But despite my lack of interest in slower casual games like this, I had loads of fun building and destroying the land to my liking.

Pokopia isn't a bad game, but I genuinely don't understand the hype around it. At its core, it feels like Animal Crossing with Pokemon, and while that sounds great on paper, the gameplay gets repetitive much faster than I **** world is cute, collecting Pokemon is enjoyable at first, and the relaxing atmosphere will definitely appeal to some players. The problem is that there just isn't much to do beyond the basic daily activities. After the novelty wears off, the game starts feeling more like a checklist than an adventure. A lot of the popularity feels driven by social media clips showing the game's cutest moments, but those moments don't always translate into a consistently engaging experience. If you're looking for a laid-back game, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're expecting something deeper, you might end up disappointed.

Brak języka Polskiego. Polish language is missing. Game created for children, but not for polish children. It may be good, but language barrier makes me feel like something is not right.

pokopia is such a cozy and charming game. its aesthetic is beautiful, exploring always feels exciting, and it really lets your imagination run free. even though it has a very sweet and relaxing vibe, the story is surprisingly engaging. i also loved how the pokémon help guide you along the way, making the world feel much more alive and special. overall, it’s a lovely adventure that you always want to come back to :3

This game is my first life sim, and I've been pleasantly surprised! Restoring areas and going in the wild to farm resources and search items can become pretty addictive. Visuals are simple, but they work (though it's pretty obvious this game was designed for the Switch 1 at first). I only invested 25 hours in it, but you can invest way more thanks to the gigantic amount of content available.

I haven't finished the game, I'm at the fourth island. So far it's been fun, but it's probably not worth the hype for a lot of people. It could be called "clean-up simulator" , because most of the time is spent watering the grass and picking up garbage due to OCD. It is fun unlocking new transformations and finding pokemon. It's not a bad game. I've sunk 30+ hours into it and every island keeps me intrigued with new building concepts and abilities. But honestly, it's not "fun" in the way a great Zelda or Mario rpg is fun. You really just spend most of the time cleaning and doing basic quests. Even non-creative people should get some satisfaction from building basic bridges or tunnels , but personally I don't think Ill come back to build creatively after completing the story.

The advertisment of this being a multiplayer game was a flat out lie. I created a Metacritic account for the first time just so I could rage about this and leave a negative review that may discourage those who would have pursued this game as a couch coop experience. The second player cannot participate in any questing, there is no local multiplayer at all actually so you need to have another switch to even try. It's essentially just wander around and interact with nothing..

This is one of the most awesome Pokémon games that I ever played. Out of the cores, it's the one that I most liked since Puzzle League in N64. Almost anything is possible, and it has a incredible level design. Loved every step of the game. 10/10

It’s a relatively fun and relaxing game. What they did best was the different regions, being able to construct stuff in one area, and then head to another area helped keep boredom at bay.

Another great game, reminded me of the Pokemon Mystery dungeon games how great it was to explore as a Pokemon. Amazing Pokemon spin off. Engaging gameplay and a new style of exploring the world of Pokemon.

It does get a bit overwhelming, but I am glad to have it to come back to. There’s a lot of potential here too, so I wouldn’t be mad over any DLCs for this one.
