This game has many issues, but most of them are due to the playerbase, which can’t really be helped. However, some of these issues are caused by the game itself, such as the limited customization. Overall, considering everything, I’d give this game a 7/10 for now.

PowerWash Simulator7
Jul 25, 2026
Powerwash Simulator is a satisfying game to play, but can also be frustrating at times. Some mechanics don’t feel fleshed out enough, and I often end up just using the same one or two nozzles. Also, for side content, I feel that the game relies too heavily on its DLCs. However, the game is still good. The game has a good story, which is surprising, considering I didn’t expect it to have a story at all. Overall, Powerwash Simulator isn’t necessarily a bad game, but it isn’t perfect either.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom9
Jul 25, 2026
Echoes of Wisdom is a fun 2D Zelda experience, offering a new gameplay style which varies from past installments. Upon first seeing the game, in its trailers, I initially disliked it. However, later trailers changed my mind. The story isn’t perfect, but works well enough. Overall, Echoes of Wisdom is a pretty good game.

While Mario Party Jamboree is certainly the best Mario Party in the series, I’d say it’s still flawed enough to only get an 8/10.

Sonic x Shadow Generations8
Jul 25, 2026
Sonic x Shadow Generations is a pretty good game to run around in. However, I find myself running around in the hub more than playing the actual levels. The levels are still fun, but I have a hard time convincing myself to play them more than once.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury8
Jul 25, 2026
Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury is a good game, but to be honest, Mario 3D world on its own is kind of boring. Bowsers fury on its own isn’t the best game ever either, so I give this game an 8/10.
Nintendo Switch

Sonic Frontiers7
Jul 24, 2026
Sonic Frontiers isn’t the best game. The gameplay feels repetitive, the graphics could use improvement, and there are plenty of glitches. But still, the game is good enough to where I could overlook these flaws while playing. 7/10.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park10
Jul 24, 2026
Mario Wonder is a very fun and content-rich game, only made better by its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. I would call this game a must-have for any Mario fans.

Hollow Knight9
Jul 24, 2026
Hollow Knight is an amazing game, which I believe has had at least some influence on many games since its release. However, this game has many flaws, which hold it back from being a perfect game. Overall, I’d say this game fits at around a 9/10 rating.

Undertale8
Jul 24, 2026
Undertale is a good game, and highly influential. However, despite this, the game still feels dull in comparison to other games. While it isn’t a bad game by any means, you can tell that this was Toby Fox’s first game.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door8
Jul 24, 2026
While not the best game I’ve ever played, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is certainly not the worst. The graphics are a major improvement from the original, but the other aspects of this game remain essentially unchanged. However, this games story isn’t the best, and the combat feels a bit repetitive. It’s been a while since I have played this game, so maybe I will end up updating my review later on. However, for now, I feel that this game, while still good, has many flaws.

Pokemon Omega Ruby9
Jul 24, 2026
Pokemon Omega Ruby is a fantastic remake. The graphics still don’t look bad even over 10 years later, the game is actually fun to play, and the story and gameplay additions feel natural. Even though it’s a 3DS game, Pokemon Omega Ruby still holds up to this day.

Splatoon Raiders10
Jul 24, 2026
Splatoon Raiders is an incredibly fun game. There’s enough content to where I hardly ever get bored playing, the game is difficult but not too much so, and being on the Switch 2 makes the graphics look phenomenal. I haven’t even beaten the game yet but I can safely call this a 10/10 game.

New Pokemon Snap10
Jul 23, 2026
Overall, this is a great game. It looks excellent, and the on-rails gameplay experience of taking pictures of Pokémon sounds boring, until you play it and get absolutely blown away. While this feels strange to say about a game like this, I feel that this game is a 10/10 experience.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate10
Jul 23, 2026
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is THE fighting game. All the content in this game is enough to entertain players for a long time, and while there are flaws in the fighting system, I feel that this game is overall a good enough game to earn a 10/10.

Kirby Air Riders9
Jul 23, 2026
While Kirby Air Riders is a good game, I feel that many people mainly enjoy this game due to nostalgia. While this game is mostly good in all aspects, I don’t think it deserves a 10/10 rating. And with the promise of no DLC or content updates, I feel that the game is stuck in a forever imperfect state. Overall, the game has enough content to satisfy players in the short term, but isn’t the game I want to play nonstop for hours on end.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World10
Jul 23, 2026
Kirby and the forgotten land by itself is a good game, and the new content is a nice bonus alongside the graphical upgrades, but doesn’t add too much content overall. However, I feel that this game deserves to be treated as not just a DLC, but a newer version of the game with new content and graphics. Because of this, I feel it overall deserves a 10/10, like Kirby and the Forgotten Land did.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land10
Jul 23, 2026
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a great Kirby experience on the Nintendo Switch. The 3D gameplay, amount of collectibles, and entertaining story aspects make for a good experience. This was not only one of the first games I’ve wanted to 100%, but one of the first games I HAVE 100%ed.

Super Mario Maker 210
Jul 23, 2026
Mario Maker 2 is a great game, with enough features to keep you occupied with its gameplay, a surprisingly good story mode, and an online mode which allows you to play other people’s levels if you’re bored with making your own. For a game released 7 years ago, I’d say this deserves a 10/10

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream7
Jul 23, 2026
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a good game that expands nicely on the original. But this game also has a lot of flaws. Just watching your miis can get boring quickly, which is more so a problem with the games concept than with any aspect of the game itself. However, the game also has many other flaws, such as island expansion being locked behind how many residents you have, mii customization options sometimes feeling a bit lacking, and the game overall leaning too much into the customization aspect. Plus, many features from the previous installment were removed. All of this overall makes Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream a fun but overall imperfect experience.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Mega Dimension8
Jul 9, 2026
The Mega Dimension DLC, while tedious at times, still provides a great story, a large amount of side content, plenty of new Pokémon, and is an overall welcome addition to this game. And just like with the base game, I seriously do not understand why it gets so much hate.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A9
Jul 9, 2026
This is one of my favorite Pokémon games of all time. I’ve always loved the Kalos region, and getting to return on the Nintendo Switch 2 made for a great experience. The graphics aren’t the most impressive, but I can forgive this because of the gameplay. I love running around Lumiose city, catching Pokémon, and even doing platforming challenges, which are unexpected but welcome in a modern Pokémon game. And the story, while not as good as some other Pokémon games, is still entertaining. Overall, I’d say that this game is massively overrated, and is one of my favorite Pokémon games to date.

Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass Wave 2 - Side Order9
Jul 9, 2026
Side Order adds a new storyline and gameplay loop to Splatoon 3, which rather than clashing with the main story and gameplay of Splatoon 3, nicely compliments it as a good addition to the game. The roguelike mode has more replayability than the base game, and I actually find myself enjoying it more. The new story and characters are entertaining, and the new areas unlocked via this expansion are a nice bonus. Overall, I’d say that Side Order is a nice addition to Splatoon 3 and is definitely worth getting.

Splatoon 38
Jul 9, 2026
Splatoon 3 brings many firsts for the series, in both its online modes and its single player story mode. This game introduces many new things, such as 3 team splatfests, tableturf battles, a new cast of characters, and more. This game also shines in its story mode, which I would call the best in the series. Overall, Splatoon 3 is a great game, and I can’t wait to see what Splatoon 4 will inevitably have in store for us.

Donkey Kong Bananza10
Mar 5, 2026
Donkey Kong Bananza is unlike any Nintendo game I’ve ever played. The fully destructible environment, large amount of collectibles, and how fun it is to just walk around all make this a wonderful experience, even in the postgame. However, unlike in Mario Odyssey, the (spiritual) prequel to this game, none of these collectibles are required. As for the story, it’s genuinely amazing. I can’t go into much detail without spoilers, but I’ll just say I went in with high expectations and was STILL surprised at how good it was. And the soundtrack is amazing too. Overall, Donkey Kong Bananza is a great game which you should definitely get if you own a switch 2.

Pokemon Pokopia9
Jun 14, 2026
This game is much better than it seems at first glance. Tasks such as gathering resources, which may normally feel tedious in other games, actually seem fun in Pokopia. It’s fun to run around the world, talking to the Pokemon, and building cool stuff. However, this game really shines in its story. It does a good job of feeding you details throughout the game, and I don’t want to spoil it, but the story is one of the best in any Pokemon game imo. My main complaint is that the gameplay feels boring after completing the story content, but this is still a wonderfully made game.

Minecraft Legends8
Jul 8, 2026
For what it is, this game actually isn’t very bad. The gameplay is pretty fun, the story could be better but isn’t bad, and the world is fun to explore. Admittedly, it’s been a while since I last played this game, so this review is mostly written based on memory, but from what I remember, this is a solid game.

Mario Kart World8
Jul 8, 2026
I like this game. It’s easily one of the most ambitious Mario kart titles, as well as one of the most controversial. I love the sheer amount of post-release content being added, with more confirmed to be on the way. The new Grand Prix tracks are some of my favorite in the series. The new knockout tour and free roam modes are fun too, albeit with both having their own minor flaws. Also, this game doesn’t really reward the player enough. But in general, I think this is a pretty good game.

Minecraft Dungeons9
Jul 8, 2026
Recently, I played this game for the first time in a while, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much better it was than I remembered. The gameplay is actually pretty fun, and the equipment system is, while potentially flawed, still well made. While this game has its flaws, I wouldn’t call it a bad game by any means.

Minecraft10
Jul 8, 2026
This game is highly regarded as one of the most influential games of all time, and for good reason. It offers endless content and replayability, only enhanced with the usage of mods. My only issue with this game is the switch to the new “drop” system. While the drops do mean that we get content at a quicker pace, the drops also often feel light on actual content. For example, with the recent sulfur cube drop, I felt like I was waiting for the major part of the drop to be announced, only to realize that there was no more hidden content, and ultimately feel underwhelmed by the size of the update. While this can be solved with mods, I still wish the base game had more substantial updates again. Despite this, however, Minecraft still remains an unparalleled gaming experience.

Hollow Knight: Silksong10
Jul 8, 2026
This game is fun. It offers a lot of content, excels in its graphical performance, and even offers additional content to be added later down the line. However, occasionally I feel bored when playing due to a lack of major plot outside the main story. However, this game is still amazing, and definitely deserved its GOTY nomination.

Hades7
Jul 8, 2026
While this game is fun, I personally have too many issues with it to give it too high of a rating. The gameplay feels repetitive, and after long enough, it never actually feels like I’m getting better or making any progress. Furthermore, most of this games content feels locked behind clearing your first run, which, for the reasons I’ve mentioned previously, doesn’t really feel that fun to do. However, this game has good gameplay, which never really feels clunky or unintuitive, as well as a decent story. My main issue with this game is its lopsided progression, an issue which I’ve seen other roguelikes handle better.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition9
Jun 14, 2026
Tears of the kingdom is already a great game, albeit with a story that has a few flaws. However, this game looks PHENOMENAL on the switch 2. The Zelda notes feature wasn’t really necessary, but is very much welcome. While this game doesn’t really match the feeling of playing Breath of the wild for the first time, I’d still say that this is the better of the two games, made even better by the switch 2.

Super Mario Odyssey10
Jul 7, 2026
This game is great. While the story is relatively simple, this is normal for Mario games, and this game actually has the best story out of any Mario game I can think of. Outside of story content, this game has so much to do. Even 2 years after getting this game, I’m still not really finding myself bored when I play this game. And the mechanics are so intuitive, even I’ve started learning some speedrunning tricks. Overall, this game deserves its title as one of the best games of all time.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment10
Mar 5, 2026
When I first played this game, I had decent expectations. However, this game took those expectations and completely blew them out of the water. The graphics look great, The gameplay, while potentially repetitive at times, is still fun the whole way through. Even in the very end, the game still introduces new mechanics, yet the gameplay never feels too complicated or too simple. The sound design is great too, both the music and the sound effects. And the STORY. This game might genuinely have the best story out of any game I’ve played. This was my game of the year for 2025, which is saying something, since SILKSONG released that year.

Geometry Dash8
Jul 7, 2026
This is a great game because really anybody can make and upload a level, and the difficulty ceiling is essentially nonexistent, because anybody can always make a harder level, and the editor is a f***ing game engine at this point istg. However, this game isn’t without its flaws. The inconsistent updates schedule, flawed rating system, and more all lead to a less than perfect experience.

DELTARUNE9
Jun 14, 2026
This game is amazing. Great soundtrack, great gameplay, and great characters. The only thing stopping me from giving this game a 10/10 is its story. Don’t get me wrong, the story is also very good, but a few parts of the story could really be better. However, I think that the main reason for this is just because the game isn’t finished yet. So I might update this review as more chapters release.
