It seems these days any game can get a trailer on ign. This feels like a project by a few first timers, who had no game experience before this. Unfortunately, they were also quite bad at copying other horror games, so Paradise's Secrets is a terrible experience. No idea where the Steam positive reviews are coming from, no-one should purchase this game, there are better free horror games on ****. First and foremost, the controls are absolutely awful, there are a way too many bugs and glitches, and the game just feels awful to play. There are monster monster sections, where you have to hide in poorly placed cabinets, but half the time the interact key didn't even trigger, so you have to do this awkward dance to figure out when the game registers your cursor, when a monster is chasing you. The game has no visual identity, just a bunch of asset store elements thrown together, with zero coherence. Some tables are neck high, whoever placed them in the environment didn't bother to test it at all. There is some story, but it's not worth engaging with.
