The inevitable comparison between Mario Kart and MySims Racing is unfair at best: even if the game is kinda fun to play, EA's title can't be nearly as good as Nintendo's milestone. If you can get over it, you'll find yourself with a nice but unpolished racing game.

The epitome of Mediocre. The best part is the same cute art style seen in other MySims games. But that can only get you so far with a bad Mario Kart ripoff with bad controls even while using the more traditional Classic Controller. Overall if you want a racing game for Wii get Mario Kart Wii and if you want a MySims game for Wii get MySims. Don’t try killing two birds with one stone.

Can we honestly expect MySims Racing to become some sort of darling? Probably not. Everyone knows Mario Kart's all over it. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't give it a whirl.

MySims Racing might not be the top kart racer on the Wii, but it’s deep customization and solid racing definitely make it worth a look. If you’ve played out Mario Kart and are looking for something that offers similar solid mechanics with a little more flair for customization, you can’t go wrong here.

It's cute, but it's just not the best kart racer on the console. Hell, it might not even be the second best one. For die-hard fans of the MySims series, if any exist, the game is likely worth checking out, but for everyone else it doesn't have enough replayability to justify a purchase.

MySims Racing follows the lead of Mario Kart Wii, without the presumption to overtake it. Gameplay is funny, but it doesn't add anything to the genre, while a modest visual appeal and the lack of an online mode make EA product suitable for merciful players.
