In a fun and fascinating take on the future, Mutropolis offers a compelling point-and-click sci-fi experience that proves the classic adventure formula is as potent as ever.

I’m not ashamed to say that my appreciation of Mutropolis skyrocketed when I gave up playing it and decided to watch the last fourth of the game on YouTube. Watching Mutropolis as I might an Adult Swim cartoon, I was able to appreciate it as a solid comedic work without having to suffer through trying to independently work through its puzzles.

An entertaining adventure game with a good level of challenge and gorgeous art.

Good enough game. I really like the art style (reminds me a lot of Broken Age), but I detest those stupid flash game animations. They're also super stiff in this game, and there aren't many. You know, the generic empty hand movement when you use an item? Yeah, there's a lot of that. Good voice acting, very convincing. Puzzles are quite good so far, with puzzle chains and more puzzles available at the same time so you can switch at your leisure. Although... some are memory-related and force you to go back to locations to check stuff again if you forgot a step (no, the main character doesn't take notes), I encountered another one that I solved by chance because the item wasn't collectable the first time I found it and it changed its significance later on [the folder with the paycheck], and I'm finding that the game is actually really hard. But here's the thing... PIXEL HUNTING. Yeah, there's no highlight key. I don't want to comment this issue further, I bloody hate it and pixel hunt shouldn't exist anymore in this age. Decent interface, but here's another thing I bloody hate - it's designed for tablets. Right mouse click do absolutely nothing, but at least you can use the mouse wheel or "I" to bring down the inventory. Oh, and no key rebinding OF COURSE. (screw you) The story is intriguing so far, good setting, and pushes me to progress. So far I'd give it a 8/10, but considering the pixel hunting and the other pet peeves let's skim it down to 6/10.

Great game. Fun and warm. The artwork and character design is beautiful. Very chill music and well designed puzzles.

Excellent point and click adventure game. graphics are great, the story is interesting, the characters are good. The humor is mostly hit and miss (unless you're like 10 years old). The interesting plot and settings bring it all together though. If you enjoyed monkey island and/or leisure larry you will like this one as well.

In a period lagging from enough quality adventure games, Mutropolis is pleasant surprise. This is an enjoyable adventure and a first- class debut for Pirita Studio.

Mutropolis shows tons of promise and is undeniably funny and charming. Beautiful to look at with an interesting story and likeable characters, point-and-click fans will find lots to enjoy here. It’s a strong debut from Pirita Studios, a definite step in the right direction and hopefully a sign of good things to come.

Mutropolis is a fun game held back by unforgiving speed bumps. I am enthralled by the beautiful art style, and the tone the game sets in the narrative leaves you having a good time. But it’s hard to enjoy what you’re doing if you can’t move forward, and I too often found myself at a stop sign.

Mutropolis is a charming throwback to old school point-and-click adventure games. While it doesn't do anything wrong, it doesn't stand out either. I would have loved to see more of the world and the characters and less backtracking and obtuse puzzles.

A wonderful graphic adventure. Very nice hand drawn graphics and not easy puzzles, that have made me enjoy every second of the game.
It's perceived how Mutrópolis feeds on the classics of the genre. A fun game that will transport you to the 90's!

SummaryMUTROPOLIS is a lovely sci-fi adventure set on the abandoned Planet Earth. Play as Henry Dijon (hero, nerd, detective) in search of a legendary lost city. Uncover weird ancient artifacts. And PLEASE don’t get obliterated by an ageless evil. You’ve been warned.
