This game should be a case study on how to ruin a conceptually excellent game by not playtesting it well enough and releasing it with abysmal controls. The music, visual atmosphere, bosses, and level design are so good. But actually playing through it was so frustrating. I would've quit halfway through (perfectly slicing through the yellow surfaces is so horrible to control) if I wasn't such a platformer fan. Otherwise, this would be a solid 8, maybe even higher if the combat and enemy variety weren't so poor. Nevertheless, I would love to see a sequel someday.

It plays like Prince of Persia, has the loneliness and melancholy of a Fumito Ueda world, making a crossover with the vehicles of Blast Corps that act like enemies that you have to climb like a Shadow of the Collossus boss. Kinda bizarre and at first I was not impressed due to the bland art design, vague plot and generic soundtrack, but the gameplay won me over. The platform challenges are fun (just avoid the useless **** you are able to deal with the clunky controls and camera. Thankfully, checkpoints are generous, because we die a LOT.

A solid enough game, i greatly enjoyed the brutalist setting. I enjoyed navigating some of the areas but felt others dragged in ways that made me want to quit. Common enemy variety is whatever. I could take or leave them as it feels like they only exist to give you something to kill or augment your movement, they are never threatening and while death is only a minor setback, it's still obnoxious. Music is ok, it's not bad but nothing about it made me take notice. The camera being an actual physical entity is novel, but i wish they did a little more with it. Like using Orbie as a projectile to hit an out of range switch or being able to "detach" from P to plot a route or just go sightseeing. Extra points if your perspective goes wherever P threw the camera. The writing for the setting has potential but feels like a lot of dressing for an average gameplay experience. While i find P attractive, some of the horniness with some of the side chats a little off putting. Some of its funny, some of it isn't. Some of it's appealing, some of it isn't. It's a matter of personal taste and it felt like a coin flip. The boss fights were cool but some of them became obnoxious because occasionally after P dies, she'll "snap" awake, which is fine on occasion when traversing areas, but annoying when it happens after getting smooshed by a boss and it happened everytime. Though it only seemed to happen to me for the back-hoe boss so it might have been a glitch. A great game for the price and i largely enjoyed my time with it. But if it was above $40 id be pretty insulted.

The game is interesting it has a nostalgic feel for me as someone that played a lot of Prince of Persia during the sixth generation of consoles so the different puzzles started to work some muscles in my brain that have been lost to time so I will very much appreciate that. I will say the game can have moments where it is pretty difficult and that difficulty can come from a few different places it can happen because the bosses can take you out super quickly, there are various traps will definitely add to that kill counter, and for myself I found a lot of deaths would happen through some confusion over where to go next and just engaging in trail and error paths which are great for making you explore the world but very frustrating when sometimes small choices can push you back very far. Overall I would recommend this game to people with some caveats, the combat in the game is a bit simplistic it is not there to be complicated and involved there is a parry but it is just for style points you don't have to master combat to become a parry monster, the platforming as I said earlier can have moments where it is extremely frustrating even with the orange guide pieces to determine the right way to go. I will also address the common comments that people may have encountered concerning the Slack Off sections of the game and the interactions that might be a bit much for people I did find myself less and less intrigued by what was going to be said during those slack off segments and some of those options I was less than fond of but there is an audience that will very much enjoy those little moments. There is some lore within the slack off segments but it is possible to play without interacting with those segments, as I said I do recommend the game but you need to ask if you are the target demographic before purchasing.

Motorslice is a gem of 2026. I've been following the development of the game since 2024 and played the demo. What a blast! It's been a long time since gaming was peak like this, and here we are with Motorslice, the full game. Everything is here to make you fall in love with it. The three inspirations behind Motorslice are Prince of Persia, Mirror's Edge, and Shadow of the Colossus, which were some of my favorite childhood games. I'm glad to see Motorslice inspired by these games while also being unique in its genre.

This game is so much fun!! The gameplay is great, the feeling, atmosphere, story, violence, and combat. A mix of Mirror's Edge and Shadow of the Colossus. The soundtrack is great too!! The monotonous vibe of liminal spaces

What an incredible game.People who are complaining about momentum don't realize movement is weighty and deliberate, rewarding mastery over twitch reflexes. Parry is completely satisfying and skill based.Tone is dystopian and immersive. Blending of parkour and combat, make each encounter a dynamic climbing challenge. Lastly,Don't give much thought to negative reviews,I mean, would you give credence to opinions by creepy and cringe people who are literally trying to shame you for what you do in your bedroom and are not even self aware about how embarrassing it is.

Do NOT sleep on this game. Negative user reviews are so wild, are we playing the same game? Wtf Motorslice is an incredibly well put mix of a lot of concepts. The game is inherently dieselpunk with a minimalistic aesthetic showing a taste for gigantic, futuristic type of superstructure, with some spaces getting liminal of nearly horror-esque. The gameplay feels like Mario 3D trickjumping, third person Mirror's Edge, the movement weight of classic Tomb Raider and some simpler Prince of Persia polejumping, with multiple routes and minimal handholding, specially for all the secondary or secret challenging orbs. Combat with normal enemies is minor with a little soulslike parryinc taste, with the main focus being on the big machine bosses, which as you may have already read are very SOTC-like, but this time you'll need to use your brain and a little of skill. Motorslice is just so naturally cool. The gameplay flow and ambience (including soundtrack) are just great and you'll quickly feel inmersed, vibing within those sandy ruins for a few hours. I'm calling this the sleeper of the year right now, and easily the best indie game so far.

This game is so bad and generic it would barely get 100 Steam reviews, but thanks to viral YouTube videos and gooners going through their Lara Croft phase plus influences from Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Colossus, and NieR: Automata, this imitation of other games still made over 1 million.

Чем дальше в лес, тем больше дров из-за неотполированного геймлея и камеры. Тема со сменой движения во время разрезания абсолютно конченная и работает очень плохо :(

Giving people a machete to slice motors up into cheese blocks is super fun and needs to be so much more recognised as peak

I have never seen a movement based parcour game, where your moves don´t follow simple physics. You carry no real momentum. Meaning: mid jump you just come to a sudden stop and fall, making even some simple jumps almost impossible and leading to cheap and undeserved deaths.
