There is a ton of stuff to uncover in this latest game, and the only thing they didn't include was any type of bonus for linking to the GameCube version of Mortal Kombat.

All of the new multi-player options are the best reason to pick this one up. If you have one or more friends to link-up with, you're in for a great time. [Fall 2003, p.49]

The focus on adding features -- both for single as well as multiple players -- keeps the design exciting and fun.

A surprisingly good game. Very fun the way it implements a 3D game into the GBA. It has a lot of content to unlock on the krypt and a lot of cool characters including the return of Sareena, even thought she doesn't play that good. As a side game is actually fun, but of course it is not a very deep game.

This is best GBA fighting game. This game is good play out of home. This is best GBA port.

While klunky and unwieldy at times, This game packs enough kontent and kuality gameplay to make up for most of its issues.

Aside from all the juicy extras and great multiplayer features, Midway is still able to showcase some really solid fighting action that translates well on the GBA. If you’re a fan of the genre you can't go wrong with this one.

The best portable version of Mortal Kombat to date.

The animation is a little choppy and the graphics are often pixelated, but the action is nonstop and the play control is tight and responsive. [Sept 2003, p.139]

If you already own "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" for the Game Boy Advance, then consider this the strictly optional, backwards-compatible 2.0 version.

What sort of waste of time is this vulgar mediocrity? [Sept 2003, p.55]
