MONGIL: STAR DIVE
Mongil Star Dive misses far more than it hits. Obnoxious characters weigh down a passable story, while decent gameplay is curtailed by an oppressive leveling system that feels too inhibitive to the experience.

The Pokémon-like style is pretty cool but it has WAY too much perversion! And the perversion is way too present. But well, it's passable so an 8

The story's good and the combat's great. I like that the male protagonist has a ranged weapon this time. In most JRPGs it's always the female with ranged weapons and the male with a sword. My only hiccup is the addition of time limits in boss battles. I personally don't like time limits in games. It forces me to rush things and not take my time to enjoy what I do, and to fight with tactics. It would only make sense if time limits were used in certain story situation like a burning house or the exploding planet in Halo for example. And I wish party members were always in field fighting with me instead of only during link attacks.

(Little Warning, that review is from the early days from the game, so it is only a review from 1.0) Interesting Story and is funny but gamplay is unfortunaly bad. If you turn your char by running, it change instantly an doesn´t look smooth. World desing is not great, more like an 2010 game and not a 2025 game. RTX is implemented, but you get a warning, that the feature is in testing. From the Stellar Voyage Pass (Is like the battle Pass) you get from 70 levels only 56 rewards f2p, because every 3 and 7 level (3,7,13,17 and go on) are the rewards missing. Battle Mechanic is okay, but there is potential. Some strange bugs with the resolution and full screen mode, but thats a bug in the early days. After all, that game has more vibe like an Pre Alpha game, not an full released game.
