Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx
Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is a game that targets children, however it lacks the polish of other games and as a result becomes quite repetitive and frustrating which mirrored the opinion of my kids. In the end, this game based on the popular TV series could have been a far more superior experience. Just because a game targets children doesn’t mean it needs to be mediocre.
Two people played our copy of Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx. The young reviewer adored it, prancing across rooftops and taking down gangs of enemies with simple button presses. The older reviewer snarled and tutted their way through it, distracted by graphical bugs, poorly conceived bosses and a condensed runtime.
Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is a nice addition to the much-loved franchise, if you are a child. Consequently, it is aimed towards younger gamers, so it won't receive any major plaudits. However, my children enjoyed it, even if I found it to be flawed. With colourful graphics, interesting stage design, and the right blend of casual action, this will entertain the youngsters in your house.

This game looks so unfinished. And i would like to have more character choices at the start of the game.

Wow, what a mess, I think getting it was a mistake! I thought it would be a fun game for my 5 year old to enjoy, instead it is a burden. It is not an easy game for a young child. It’s a game that my child consistently needs to ask me for help with and it’s obvious to me why. The combat system is very awkward and clunky, the parry window doesn’t even make any sense. I do not like having to play it, the way the graphics are, the animation, and the load screens; it’s bad for an older PlayStation/Playstation2 game. This is on the Nintendo Switch, why is the loading screen so bad?!
