Episode 6 of the Minecraft Story Mode series holds up surprisingly well compared to the other released episodes. A refreshing episode which leaves us hoping the next two episodes will be equally as entertaining.

This episode is different, but it works. We think it misses some part of the Telltale DNA when it comes to the decision, but it is quite enjoyable.

It does feel a bit tacked on to the series but I tried to see it as a singular experience and I’m now excited to see what happens in the upcoming episodes.

Minecraft enthusiasts of a certain age-range will be excited by the prospect of seeing their YouTube heroes appearing in A Portal to Mystery, and for the most part, this is a fun murder mystery romp. However, the need to shoehorn in these extra characters takes away from the established cast, and the results of this venture are incredibly haphazard.

While this is a relatively weak episode in the Minecraft: Story Mode world, it isn’t the worst episode and with the addition of the new characters, it will be enjoyable for fans and players alike.

So I really enjoy Minecraft Storymode. They game has a lot of fans but also a lot of haters. So far Minecraft STORYMODE has been GREAT. Then episode 6 came out. I was stunned. It was a murder mysteries style type of episode. I liked it. I also enjoy how they incorporated Youtubers and the community in the game. It was very well paced and they action was more prominent. The characters were great and it there was a very intresting plot twist. I really recccomend this Game and this episode was by far one of my favorites.
