Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is an excellent addition to the Larry brand. Fans of the original games will not be disappointed, and newcomers will find a solid series introduction playing the lovable loser updated to present day.

Despite being a bit niche, for those who are fans of the series or are looking to get into the Leisure Suit Larry franchise, Wet Dreams Don’t Die serves as an ample entry point for both virgins and veterans.

The premise and story are offering some great comedy, parody and poking at the current generations and ways of dating. Problem arises at the fact that the game mostly does only that and does not delve any deeper into the possible hilarity of it all. As for the gameplay its the every day standard point and click adventure fare. If you are new to the series its a great simple and fun start.

I wasn’t wild about Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry. The puzzles work pretty well, and that’s the most important thing for an adventure, but the writing is sub-par, and the longer I played the game, the more I felt bad for Al Lowe, the franchise’s creator. Wet Dreams is definitely a game for adults — with a slew of references to penises, dildos, fleshlights, and more — but if you’re a part of that target demographic, and if you like adventures, then you might get enough out of the title for it to be a worthwhile purchase. Just wait for it to go on sale first.

A solid point-and-click adventure with a fresh twist, though it stumbles into many of the standard pitfalls for the genre. The story is largely respectable and interesting, while not at the top of the pile. If you’re a big fan of the genre or an old fan of Larry who wants to check in on him, you should absolutely give this game a go as close to release as you can. For everyone else, a fun time lies in wait, provided you can tolerate the infuriating puzzles.

A disgustingly average game not worthy of being a Leisure Suit Larry adventure. You have to get drunk if you want to squeeze any fun out of it.

Larry is back: the real oldschool Larry with fun puzzles and nice 2D graphics. Recommended for retro-fans like me.

Tras los lamentables intentos de resucitar la saga (Magna Cum Laude y Box office Bust), nos llegó este Wet Dreams don't Dry que jugué con unas expectativas muy bajas, pero que terminó enganchándome, reconciliándome con uno de los personajes de mi tierna y pajillera juventud. El juego está lejos de ser perfecto (de hecho ninguno del bueno de Larry lo ha sido), pero si que recupera la esencia de la jugabilidad, humor y vergüenza ajena que se podía respirar en los clásicos. Para rematar la faena, en esta ocasión nos encontramos con un Larry Laffer que, no se sabe muy bien cómo, ha viajado en el tiempo hasta un presente en el que se ve completamente sobrepasado por la tecnología (bastante desfasado estaba ya a finales de los 80 el pobre hombre), lidiando con smartphones, apps de citas, redes sociales y demás "maravillas" del siglo XXI... y malas mujeres, como no podía ser de otra forma. En cuanto al desarrollo del juego, tenemos todo lo que se puede y debe esperar de un juego de Larry, gráficos cartoon muy coloridos, bellas mujeres, referencias sexuales en cada conversación, representaciones fálicas y **** allí donde mires, puzles enrevesados y en ocasiones un tanto surrealistas y la habitual mezcla desenfadada de perversión mezclada con inocencia del bueno de Larry, quien en esta ocasión, consigue su objetivo de mojar el churro, aunque no todo es tan perfecto como pudiera parecer

Leisure Suite Larry: Wet Dreams don't dry is not the best point-to-click adventure I've played. But voices and jokes are well done. The progress while playing is however new and annoying for adventure games. You'll find far too many items that you won't be able to use until much later. In addition, at the same time you are confronted with far too many puzzles that require items that you can't find yet. This always leads to frustrating moments when you combine all kinds of items only to find out that you can't find the required items yet and as soon as you finally get into a new area, the required items literally fly towards you without any enjoyable effort. This way the once stubborn puzzles are mastered far too easily and without any fun in puzzling or combining.

I love point and click adventures. They were the first games I obsessed over back in the days of Sierra. Interesting puzzles, cheesy humour, memorable characters, and surprisingly well thought through and interesting plots. The original LSL games fell into this bracket. This game does not. The plot is boring, and tries to tackle the idea that the world has moved on from the homophobic, racist, misogynistic world that this game was originally born in. Yet the game itself is all these things. And although, this is not completely unexpected, it’s self ignorance is just painful. Even if you ignore the games cultural blindness... it’s a TERRIBLE point and click adventure game. There are no ‘puzzles’ just back and forth trips to use item on other item. And A LOT of these ‘puzzles’ are completely stupid. They are either so insanely obvious that completeibgbtgevtask feels like a chore, or so completely obscure (no clues) that the only way to move forward is to test every single combination of items. I have no idea how this game is rated as high as it currently is - it is the sort of game that gives point and click adventures a bad name and buried the genre.
