LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a charming, content-packed adventure that deserves a glowing 9/10. This game brilliantly recreates the excitement of Episode VII while adding the signature LEGO humor and creativity that make the series so beloved. The levels are bursting with clever puzzles, hidden secrets, and diverse gameplay, from intense blaster battles to thrilling space dogfights. New mechanics, like multi-builds and cover-based shooting, add fresh layers of strategy and variety. The huge roster of characters and vehicles offers endless replay value for fans and collectors alike. Visually, the game looks fantastic, blending LEGO style with authentic Star Wars environments. Whether you’re exploring Jakku, flying the Millennium Falcon, or just laughing at silly cutscenes, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a joyful celebration of both the movie and the LEGO games that will delight players of all ages.

It falls far short of having all this story implemented in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (2022) but for its time it was good.

At first glance it looks like a great Lego Star Wars game. The first level is amazing, it introduces intriguing new things: the multiple builds and the blaster battles. But then as you progress in the story mode the levels get progressively lamer and uninspired until you make it to the final boss, where you have to button mash many-many times. The level designs could've been much better, it's sad to say that the best level is the very first one which isn't even about the seventh film's plot. Speaking of which, the whole game processes only one film compared to whole trilogies, and now it's totally pointless thanks to the Skywalker Saga. But to say something good too, the graphics look great, the open areas are full of things to find and there are many characters and vehicles you can unlock. I can also approve of the DLC levels, they might be even better than the main story ones. Unfortunately, the game is not truly stable, it's crashed on me once during a cutscene. Classic Lego things... You can definitely have fun with the game, but for the most part it is boring and can be even tedious. Probably the most disappointing Lego Star Wars game.

I am writing this review after first purchasing it today and playing roughly 3 hours of it. I am glad I did. I wanted the nostalgia feeling back from childhood, so I decided to go through the entire LEGO Star War series, but I do not have a PS2 or PS3 right now. I do have a PS4, so this was the first that I could grab. Overall, fantastic game. I love the new multi-building system and the new and engaging puzzles they have added. Reimaging my childhood in FHD is amazing, and honestly, there isn't anything bad about the game. There is one thing I'm taking off from and that's the fact that the controls can feel a bit clunky. When you're grappling or trying to aim with a blaster, it can feel slow and inaccurate. If you get past that, it's a thriller and definitely something for the LEGO fans to have for their collection.

It's about as good as any other Lego game. It feels stretched out for a movie that wasn't that great to begin with.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is in my opinion a step up from most lego games. The reason being, it is so replayable and vast. I had a blast collecting everything in the game, and I was so suprised that they basically let you collect every character you see in the game. At times, completing this game to the full was difficult and just borderline frustrating because of some glitches. Also, even if it is a lego game, I'm not going to disregard the graphics as there was reused and potato graphics all in the game. In my honest, boiled down opinion, the story is amazing, 5/5. But the general game does need to be reworked so it has better graphics and less bugs. Great Game. 8/10.

I tried it for 3 and a half hours but it's too repetitive. You can enjoy it if you like puzzles with easy action.

This game in my opinion is one of those silly fun Lego games to play. And has the same story as the movie and plus it looks great on HD. And the characters are great and fun to play as them the only problem I have is really nothing so it is a masterpiece I guess. So you should buy this game.

I like it the only problem was that there were to many levels where they hid an item on the other side of the map

I recently purchased the deluxe edition of his game from PSN for $7.49. It was cheaper than the standard edition by 50 cents (but only if you had PS+). But in regards to the game, I had a really good time playing this. It's the first Lego game that I've ever owned and I didn't expect it to be super challenging or anything and it wasn't. Not that I'd mind. I liked how well thought-out some of the mechanics were. Many are very simple yet at times I got a little stumped on certain sections. The game is more of a sillier take on the movie it's based on while staying pretty close to the events of the film. The story consists of 10 chapters and an epilogue. You could honestly beat it in a day if you wanted to. But when you do, there is still tons of content left. There is a lot of replay value here in this game. After watching the credits, the completion percentage came up. I had about a 24% completion rate. So many unlockable characters with different abilities that you can go and replay levels with in Free Play mode. Doing that will help you access things you couldn't before. There are several unlockable ships, and other missions that can be unlocked via the collection of Gold Bricks throughout the game. You can find Red Bricks as well that kind of act as modifiers (Examples include Super Strength, Disco Sabers, and multipliers for Studs). You still have to buy them with the gold and silver bits that you find everywhere though. These can also be used to buy more characters, and I believe vehicles as well. And while I'm on the subject of that, this shouldn't actually be refreshing but it's just nice to play a video game that has its own in-game currency and there is no option whatsoever to buy that currency with real money. NONE. But back to the stuff you can do, you can also travel to multiple planets. I did encounter some glitches in the game though. One was on the level where you meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca on the Millennium Falcon. I had to start the level over and it was fine after that. Another type of glitch that I'm actually still experiencing now is with the carbonite bricks. When you find some and bring them to the terminal to thaw them out to see what characters are in them, you're supposed to see them. But now after the effect takes place, nothing is shown. It's a shame because the element of surprise is ruined by this issue. You can still see who you have when they show the name of the character though. Overall I had a really good time with this game and look forward to finding all of the unlockables. And the game supports 2 players locally as well, so that's another reason to scoop this one.

I have played several of the Lego games and this one by far is the best one!!!! I loved how it used the characters voice from the actual Film it was brilliant. I really liked how each character feels important, for example, most maps have to use more than two characters to get to certain points. This allows you to not get complacent and take advantage of all characters abilities. My opinion where this game separates from the other games is the Flight levels. Flying the millennium falcon or the Tie-fighters is a blast and a nice change of pace from the normal ground and pound fighting. After the campaign there is so much more to accomplish. Collecting all the golden bricks takes time but gives you something to do after completing the main story. Overall i give this game a 8/10 but could easily given it 9. A must play especially for star wars fans!!

Picked it up for $5.99 on the playstation store when they had a sale and a few other LEGO games but this is the first one I decided to play and don't regret playing it or picking it up. Hilarious game and excellent gameplay. Controls were confusing at first especially when it came to activating things with triangle it would sometimes switch characters on me and other times one of my characters would get stuck and I would have to reload a save. Other than that though it was a great game to sink some time into. Never really got to the point in collecting all of the items in game but the story was well put regardless of all the bugs.

My 2nd favorite Lego video game ever and one of my top 10 favorite video games ever. The gameplay was fantastic and the redone parts were funny. I loved how they put all of the new and old characters into one game. I loved all of the other Star Wars Lego games but this one is my favorite. I love all of the Star Wars movies as well. I also loved how almost ever actor came back to voice their lego versions.

Ive played several LEGO games beginning with the original Star Wars. Over the years the games have gotten better in all areas such as graphics, control, sound, replay, puzzles, number of characters, adding dialogue etc etc etc. I just felt like this game stepped up the some of the really monotonous building actions & puzzles (puzzles might not be the correct word). If you like LEGO games then this is a great step forward to changing things up a bit. The add on characters aren’t necessary but fun but i do recommend playing the extra levels. C-3PO & his red arm is a touching level in particular.

I create the account to do this. Why they did it with Lego games? I Played Batman, Indiana Jones and Star Wars Complet saga. The best thing in these games is that they're simple. In Lego SW Force Awakens we have 200 characters and we'll use less then 10, is unecessary. And the shoot parts? What is that? Im not playing Uncharted, i dont want that. The Chapters are so long, is boring to play. If they would repite the first lego Star Wars nobody would say nothing.

What Kind of Adventure? Its a Lego, Action/Adventure Game. Was it fun? I had an okay time with it, its a good game but I just couldn’t get into it. Are there any similar games? Pick any of the Lego games. Favorite Character? I didn’t really care for anyone in the game. Favorite World/Stage? I liked the second Chapter where you’re in the space station. Would you play it again? No, I think I’m good with Lego games. Any Complaints? No, its more me. I just couldn’t get into the game. I think its because its a Lego game and there just wasn’t enough to keep me interested. How many hours did you play it? I don’t know, I played about half the game and just ended up stopping.

LEGO Force Awakens brings back the magic of the original instalments and adds new game mechanics that require a bit more thought.

Another fun, but ultimately forgettable Lego game. Nothing more, nothing less. The charm from the first few Lego games has been lost. But, the game does some fun exploration and fun co-op.

Besides the occasional glitches and bad levels, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still one of the best Lego games in years. I’d say it’s worth a look for the amazing flying segments alone.

The best version of one of the best Lego games. After playing on Wii U, the PS4 version plays like a dream. Not without its share of occasional glitches, but definitely solid.

This is by far the best game I've ever played. The amazing graphics, the stunning storyline, the amazing characters. This is the pinnacle of gaming, and I think that no game will ever close to hitting the greatness that this one did. If I could give it a 1,000,000, I would. This is truly the culmination of all the progress the gaming industry has made.

Great game, simple and fun, just like games used to be back in the day. This is one of the few examples of how games should be instead of how they nowadays try numerous features that look good in concept but are awful in practice due to mainly rushed development (besides the constant repetition on sequels). Maybe I'm "fanboying" a little bit on this review, but with reason because my dear readers: This is a jewel.

Solidly OK. But just didn't bring the FUNNY I've come to expect from LEGO. First game since LOTR and Marvel Super-Heroes that I've sold back less than 100% task and trophy.

Lego is back with an all-new installment of the Star Wars franchise, creating Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens. Does this particular installment conquer with the resistance or does it get beaten by the first order let's find out? Going into this game, I had no idea what to expect because I had never really played a Lego Star Wars game before. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised in how much fun I was having. The game began with me taking on the role of Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker in the battle of Endor. From there you progress through the story of the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise. In the Force Awakens, you will play through Ten, epic chapters of non-stop action, puzzle solving, platforming fun. All the way from the Assault on Jakku to the Epilogue of Lukes island. Playing as characters from the franchise we all know and love and some new ones who we have grown to love. Now the gameplay in this game is something that threw me off course because of Lego games I have seen before. It is an action adventure/ third person cover shooter, Which is great because we see all these genres of games coming together in this one game. When I started to be able to fly in the millennium falcon and dog fighting I lost my mind in excitement. Going around shooting, hitting enemies of the first order and watching them fall apart into pieces is very satisfying. Now as far as puzzles go the majority of them are quite easy but as I progressed through the story of the game I found them to become more challenging there were two or three puzzles that took me about fifteen minutes to figure out. While you are doing these puzzles you have to switch between characters a lot because certain characters that have certain specialties; which is why this game is more fun if you have someone to co-op this game with. Lego Star Wars is a game that is fun and exhilarating with over 100 collectibles it gives you all the more reason to go back and play it all over again to get more of the collectibles that you missed on your first playthrough because you needed a certain character for. With great gameplay mechanics and great dialogue and some comedy that even an adult will have a great appreciation for. Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens is definitely worth the pickup. Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens gets a 7.5 out of 10 Reviewed by Gamers of the Round Table.

The games I usually enjoy the most are the ones that I have low expectations going in to. For example I wasn’t very interested in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens at first, then I started hearing good things about it here and there and I decided to give it a try. And to say the least I enjoyed this game…A LOT. It was one of the best LEGO games I have ever played. The gameplay was great and had new features such as TPS cover shooting sections, multi build system and dog fights. The story follows the movie Star Wars the Force Awakens and also includes new levels too. It has a wide range of characters and vehicles that fans know and love. As usual with LEGO games there is plenty replay value and stuff to collect. Also the voice acting is great and the fact that they got the cast members back to record extra dialogue is the icing on the cake. Other than the occasional glitch I enjoyed this game immensely and recommend it to any Star Wars fan.

So I've decided to get LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens because i remembered enjoying Lego Star Wars III back on my Wii and this game for the most part does not disappoint for the most part. For the good things about this this game I found the way they told the story was amazing. They perfectly blended the key points of the story with also adding that iconic LEGO charm. Also one thing that surprised me was how good the flying sections were and tbh i thought those section were the best part of the game. Now for its downfall. The thing that's makes this game a 7 is the gameplay and puzzles. I found the puzzles particularly easy and the gameplay not as good as the past ones. And I probably one of the only people who wasn't a fan of the new shooting system. Overall LEGO star wars is a good solid LEGO title that does well for the series. I would definitely pick this up right now if you are a fan of star wars or LEGO games otherwise i would probably wait till this game goes down to around $40.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a extremley entertaining and fun game with amazing graphics and gameplay thats fun for everyone of all ages. The game takes you through the incredible new Star Wars story of The Force Awakens in the always fun style of lego. The game also features planets from the new movie to play on such as Jakku,Takodana,D'Qar, and Starkiller Base along with over 200 playable characters from the whole Star Wars universe. The game also brings in some new and exciting gameplay to lego such as blaster battles allowing one to duck, cover and attack behind lego barriers while battiling the first order and the new multi-build feature allows players to beat levels using multiple different lego constructions. A brilliant game to play if you are a star wars fan as it reminds me of playing the lego games when I was younger making you laugh at the lego characters do their thing. It is a must play.
