Dark Souls Remastered10
Jun 17, 2018
The game isn't flawless, but the games achievements outweigh the blemishes so much that they are but minor gripes. This is definitely the hardest Souls game and the best one, if you don't count Bloodborne. Almost all of the boss' are intense and memorable, every area is intricately designed and challenging, and combat is engaging and fun. One of my all time favorites now.

Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss8
Jun 17, 2018
Every boss in this DLC is memorable and super challenging. That's makes this a great DLC, along with the cool new items and weapons you receive. I just wish the areas were more uniquely designed from the main game. Still great though.

Sea of Thieves3
Jun 17, 2018
After around 4 hours of playing, I feel like I've done everything. This is one of the most boring games I have ever played. Repetitive, clunky, and way too easy. All of this could have been solved if the combat wasn't so awful, the game wasn't insultingly repetitive, and the game had content. So pretty much the whole game. On the plus side the game looks amazing, sounds amazing, and there are some short lived fun moments. But at $60, this game is a complete and utter rip-off. Don't buy it.

Detroit: Become Human7
Jun 17, 2018
The first chapter for Markus and Kara were boring, and the game had a few moments where the writing fell completely flat. But, the game was mostly well put together overall. The characters were memorable and super well voice acted. Everything technical wise was phenomenal. And overall I had a lot of fun, even though the ending I got was not what I wanted.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle7
Jun 17, 2018
Although the game starts off amazingly, it starts to feel like it drags closer to the end. But the tactical game-play is deep enough to be satisfying the whole way through. Plus the story was quirky and the game looked amazing. The music was awesome, and the boss fights were unique in design and I enjoyed all of them. But, I found the puzzles kind of boring sometimes, and, like I said earlier, the game-play loop starts to get repetitive. I still very much enjoyed the game though.

Unravel6
Jun 17, 2018
A fun little puzzle platformer that contained an amazing presentation and fun (easy) puzzles. But the story was a bit too vague, and the game was a bit too easy most of the way. Plus there were some clunky elements to the game. But I still enjoyed it for the most part..

Resident Evil HD Remaster9
Jun 17, 2018
The game has some clunkyness to it, but overall this is one of the toughest and intense survival horror games I have ever played. The level design, the enemies, puzzles, and exploration are all fantastically done. The game even has an interesting story with cheesy and fun dialogue and characters. Loved it.
PlayStation 4

Broforce6
Jun 17, 2018
Broforce is a fun game with funny dialogue, fun game-play, and a great style. But, the game can get a bit repetitive and the final missions dragged on a bit too long. It also doesn't help that the PS4 version has some technical issues.
PlayStation 4

Far Cry 36
Jun 17, 2018
The story and characters were better than 4's in my opinion; with interesting elements coming into play. Plus the two main villains were excellent and fantastically voice acted. The open world was beautiful, and the gun-play was solid. But, I found the protagonist to be inconsistent, the boss fights were terrible, and the side activities got repetitive after a while. Although I enjoyed the game, I don't think it's as good as everyone says it is.

Far Cry 45
Jun 17, 2018
UPDATED: The biggest problem is the boring world and side activities. The main quest is alright, and there are some interesting ideas going on. But, the main antagonist barely has any development, and the game feels too much like Far Cry 3.
PlayStation 4

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds6
Jun 17, 2018
The expansion is way harder than the main game, and the environments and enemy types are awesome. But, sadly, it doesn't really add anything new or exciting. It doesn't help that the main quests were kind of dull. But I did find the side quests to be pretty decent, along with some challenging enemies. One other problem were how the Fireclaws took way too long to defeat. To be honest, I would say skip this expansion.

Super Meat Boy9
Jun 17, 2018
At least on the PS4 version, the game wasn't the most responsive, which made it a bit annoying. But everything else was awesome. The game was extremely challenging, but by the end of the game I felt extremely satisfied.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth10
Jun 17, 2018
Possibly my favorite Indie game of all time. The atmosphere is grim, the game is highly addictive, the game is brutal and just pure fun. Plus the game is highly replayable.
PlayStation 4

Killing Floor 28
Jun 17, 2018
UPDATED: The more I play Killing Floor 2 the more I like it. I still prefer the style and atmosphere of L4D. But the tons of different classes make the game feel fresh and less repetitive. Plus it's a lot more fun with tons of friends.
PlayStation 4

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery0
Jun 17, 2018
Nothing, I repeat nothing about this game is good or even decent. It's boring, ugly, and it forces some of the most egregious micro-transactions ever onto you. The game literally chokes your avatar until you pay up, or you have to wait 20 freaking minutes. And right after that the game makes you wait hours in total to get through the first year alone. Don't give a single bit of attention to this game.

Bound (2016)2
Jun 17, 2018
It looks nice (in the dream world) and the animations were fantastic...however, everything else was so boring that I almost fell asleep while "playing". All you do is walk in this game. You walk through the same locations over and over until the end, that's it. Sure, there is a story of sorts, but it never drew me in at all. Especially because the story cut scenes and "game-play" sections were horrendous in game-play and in the way they looked. Don't recommend this at all.
PlayStation 4

RiME6
Jun 17, 2018
Rime looked amazing, it was mostly fun, and there were many beautiful moments. Plus the music was fantastic. But the game never really hooked me emotionally, causing the ending to way less impact-full. Also the game-play, at times, got a bit stale and boring. I overall enjoyed the game, but it is kind of a mixed bag.
PlayStation 4

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition4
Jun 17, 2018
The gun-play was good, and there were some moments where I actually had some fun. But, the game had a terrible story, annoying characters, and boring locations with no branching paths. The game does sound and look great, but it wasn't enough to save this mess.
PlayStation 4
Jun 17, 2018
God of War9
Jun 17, 2018
Besides the lack of enemy types and bosses, God of War managed to surprise and kept me invested the whole journey. The story, writing, and characters were all great, and the game looks marvelous. The game-play and exploration never got old, and there many great side activities and quests that kept me even more invested.

A Way Out5
Jun 17, 2018
There are many fun parts sprinkled through out the game. And I found the co-op experience to be one that I enjoyed. But the narrative and characters fell completely flat, and the ending was way too over-dramatic and cheesy. I had fun, but I wasn't that invested in the revenge plot.
PlayStation 4
Jun 17, 2018
Monster Hunter: World8
Jun 17, 2018
The game-play is awesome in this game. The world was interesting and fun to explore. Plus there many other great mechanics. But the story was pretty dull, and there is a little too much going on with some of the mechanics. Still great overall.
PlayStation 4

Knack 24
Jun 17, 2018
Way better than the last game, but still lacking in story and characters. The combat is better, but it still feels a bit clunky. Plus the quick time events are annoying. At least the platforming was decent.
PlayStation 4

Shadow of the Colossus10
Jun 17, 2018
The original version of the game was a bit wonky, and the motion blur killed my eyes. But this remake completely fixed all of that, and now Shadow of The Colossus has become one of my favorite games of all time. Every boss is memorable and extremely sad to take down. The story was engaging and heartbreaking, and the game sounds and looks incredible. Plus the atmosphere felt so alone and sad, and the music is some of the best I have heard in a video game.

Knack2
Jun 17, 2018
One of the most unbalanced piles of crap I've ever played. Boring combat, boring story, boring level design, almost everything is bad. If I'm being honest, I thought the first couple of missions were a little fun. But I think that mostly had to do with the so-bad it's good nature of it. But it eventually got super old and repetitive.

Star Wars Battlefront II3
Jun 17, 2018
Sure, they took out the micro-transactions. However, that just means the game is hopelessly unbalanced and I couldn't stand it. The campaign was boring and repetitive, so that didn't help me like the game anymore. The only positives are that the game looks amazing and sounds amazing. Plus the gun-play is solid. But, it's no better than BF1.
PlayStation 4
Jun 17, 2018
Call of Duty: WWII4
Jun 17, 2018
Better than the last few CODs, but still pretty average. The campaign this time around was too over-the-top and repetitive for me. But the multiplayer did add one mode that I enjoyed; War. Plus the zombies was a bit better this time around. But it just didn't do much for me overall.

Assassin's Creed Origins5
May 15, 2018
What a surprise, another mediocre AC game. Yes, the combat is more focused, along with the world they built. But the main story was so generic, and the side quests, although better than the previous games, felt repetitive. It's disappointing that this was the outcome of the extra development time.
Xbox One

Super Mario Odyssey10
May 15, 2018
One of the finest games I have ever played. The game-play was addictive, challenging at times, and satisfying. The worlds and style were both superbly designed. Although the bosses weren't that tough, they were nice bonuses to an excellent game.
Nintendo Switch

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus8
May 15, 2018
A great FPS that does have some dull looking missions, but makes up for that with the game-play. The game-play here is extremely fun and difficult. The story, although not amazing and has an abrupt ending, is very fun and has some great moments.
PlayStation 4

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag5
May 15, 2018
The exploration is fun along with the ship mechanics, but the Assassin's Creed stuff was just so repetitive and boring. Constant trailing missions and a messy story kind of ruined a lot of this game, which is a shame.
PlayStation 4

Halo: The Master Chief Collection2
May 15, 2018
Even after years of patches, this remastering is still buggy and awful. Tons of glitches through out the entire saga. Many crashes also occurred. This is by far one of the worst remasters I have ever played.
Xbox One
May 15, 2018
Halo 43
May 15, 2018
Although the gun-play and visuals are great, everything else falls apart. The story and characters felt bland and lost any interesting elements from the previous games. The new enemy type looked dull and generic, and the villain was awful. I miss the original Halo games already.
Xbox 360
May 15, 2018
South Park: The Fractured But Whole7
May 15, 2018
The charm and humor from the last game feels a bit lost in this game, but the game-play is overall improved from the last game. Not much else to say.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
The Evil Within 26
May 15, 2018
I think the gun-play and open world elements felt nice and fun to play, but the game took itself way too seriously. I enjoyed the last game's wacky and insanely cheesy story, but this game goes for a more dark and serious one. This is hindered the game a lot and the overall experience wasn't that memorable.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
Middle-earth: Shadow of War4
May 15, 2018
Pretty much the same pros and cons as the first game. but they squandered the nemesis system by implementing loot boxes that contain Orcs. It's sad, because the open world looks beautiful, but even that feels empty. Very disappointing.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor5
May 15, 2018
Plenty of awesome moments, but pretty bland overall. The Nemesis system is great, making encounters with Orc generals more epic and personal. But, the game=play does get a bit repetitive from the way the missions are structured. Plus the open world feels empty and generic.

Destiny 24
May 15, 2018
Just as bad as Destiny 1. The game is a boring, repetitive grind that has one of the most generic stories of the year. It's a shame, because the gun-play and some of the worlds are pretty awesome.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
Minecraft9
May 15, 2018
Sure, the game's status has gone sour over the last couple of years. But, this is one of the most expansive and fun games I've ever played. Tons of content, simple yet effective style, and tons of creative ways to deal with building. Sure, the combat is not that good, but everything else is just fantastic.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy8
May 15, 2018
This game kind of surprised me. It has the same game-play as U4, but the exploration is much improved here. Sure, the story wasn't amazing, but the great writing and characters are back. Plus the set-pieces were better here than in U4.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
Sonic Mania9
May 15, 2018
Didn't care much for one of the bonus games and the co-op, which is a shame. However, everything else about this game is awesome. From the music, level design, art-style, game-play, all of it is just amazing.
Nintendo Switch

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy8

May 15, 2018
The combat is definitely the best part of this game. The multiplayer and story however are super lackluster. The multiplayer just doesn't really work, and the story was just terrible. The game had so much potential, let's just hope they improve with the next game.
PlayStation 4

Tekken 76
May 15, 2018
I've never played any of the previous games, so I was lost. I did find the story very cheesy and just not for me. The game-play however was awesome. Plenty of awesome matches and moments were present. I wished that the game had more content though.
PlayStation 4
May 15, 2018
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier3
May 15, 2018
Another boring and poorly written Telltale game. Clementine was a lot more bland and one note, the new characters felt dull, and the story was very cliched. It did have a great intro and it looked nice, but that's all I can say that is positive.
PlayStation 4
