No doubt in my mind, 3DS owners should have Kid Icarus: Uprising in their library of games, especially if action games are a favorite.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is an underdog tale: how an action game can be thoroughly enjoyable even when it suffers from some severe control problems. [May 2012]

Peak Sakurai Masterpiece. Filled to the brim with charm and content. Even though I am not the best at the high-level difficulties, I can still see the amazing game for what it is. (Online) Multiplayer also surprisingly fun!

In my opinion, it's the best game I've played on the 3DS. For a 3DS, the game is magnificent, the characters endearing and funny, and the three game modes (in the air, on the ground and boss battles) complement each other perfectly. The difficulty system with hearts is a good idea, unlocking new passages and making us fight more enemies with a fairly difficult challenge. The only drawback is that you quickly get a sore hand by holding down the L button with your left hand while controlling the joystick with that same hand. I hope and pray that a sequel will be announced at a future Nintendo Direct.

This game is incredible and really got me interested in the on-rails shooter genre. The characters are amazing and the whole thing is written brilliantly. I honestly loved the controls. They kept me really focused and engaged. This game is a must play for 3DS owners.

Pit's triumphant return doesn't just represent another classic that Nintendo should be proud of it also raises the bar to truly heavenly heights. If this monumental title represents what the 3DS is capable of then owners should consider themselves blessed

I'm infatuated with how these characters, these brilliant mechanics, were molded from crude, 8-bit blueprints that are older than myself. And now, I want more.

A triumph in artistry and gameplay, overcoming the frequently problematic process of reviving an old franchise. So many studios get it dead wrong, but Project Sora has shown that it has respect for the IP, as well as the talent to deliver the world of Kid Icarus to a modern audience and make it relevant to a new generation.

Sakurai did it again. The rebirth of Kid Icarus is nothing less than a game packed with action, great graphics, superb writing and many inspired gameplay ideas.

Despite slight control problems that can hamper portability - and unfortunately the multiplayer - there's an awful lot to like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, making Pit's return one well worth the wait.

A few niggling issues stop Uprising from being a heavenly experience, but for a star who's spent over two decades out of the spotlight, Pit's return is nothing short of a triumph.

The single player is a complete waste despite the hefty amount of content put into it. If you're going to enjoy Kid Icarus: Uprising, it's because you can stand the awful controls and really badly want something to play online. If you're considering the game for any other reason than that, I highly recommend catching the next updraft and tossing it into the sun.

Audiovisualmente explota la consola, pero no es todo lo divertido ni cómodo que debería ser.

It's a pretty good game. I liked story, characters, graphics and music. There are also aspects of game I didn't try such as multi player. The thing that made me give it only 7/10 are controls. They add 3DS stand to this game for a reason. Especially if you have 3DS XL. Using stylus for both camera movement and targeting at the same time was troublesome for me all the way to the end. Sometimes level design required some precision to not fall down but weird momentum of Pit's movement made it quite hard. But other than that it's really pretty and fun game - if controls work for you add at least 1 point to the score.

Could be really nice game, cool graphics, nice funny story and solid gameplay, but whoever made controls should be thrown to Turkey jail to rot there forever. Easily top 3 worst game controls ever, it literally makes your hand hurt, so I suggest playing in on emulator, where you could adjust the controls to be bearable. Also you need youtube to get full story, cause there's dialogs all the time that's impossible to follow with all the hectic battles taking place at the same time.
