We rarely see scenarios and story structure this good in a game, and that makes it easier to forgive some of the more hardcore technical game-design issues. It's definitely more of a popcorn game for the action-movie crowd than a hardcore shooter, but there's nothing wrong with that.

I honestly think that the first half of the game is enjoyable and the characters dialogue with each other is funny but the second half is just a half baked army shooter that hits you with waves of enemy’sthat are just annoying.

The main reason you want to keep playing this unique twisted shooter is the tense yet hilarious dynamic between the main charaters of Kane and Lynch; you just dont know what misjudged step one of them will take, that will land them into even more trouble! The enemies keep coming at you no matter where you are, and you have to be vigilant all around you in case you are caught off guard. Despite having somewhat terrible controls, its a game really worth playing for its story, OTT action and cutscenes. The fact that you can guide your team mates to fight or move into another position is nicely done (the night club kidnapping of a Triad leaders daughter is one fo the most intense moments of the game) although its a bit troublesome when you are down and out and need a dose of adrenaline to get you back in your feet (and yes, we all hate overdosing!!!!). The graphics seem a bit sketchy for a 2007 game, but are tolerable. This is perhaps one of the most grittiest 3rd person shooters I have ever played.

Kane and Lynch is quite a good crime drama experience and serves as a plausible move away from the Hitman stealth series that IO Interactive is very well known for.

Great game. Shoting is not precise as in real life. Story is easly one of the best in video-game history. There are some minor issues with the game but in comparison to overall vibe it is not a dealbreaker. Give this game a chance.

The single-player game starts off well enough but becomes grating and tedious as it progresses. It's a great shame because the multiplayer offerings truly are unique and, with the exception of some flagging visuals, the game could've been great with a better main campaign.

All in all, Kane and Lynch is a bad game. With characters like Kane and Lynch, we should have seen more variety in the plot and gameplay -- with developers like IO Interactive, we should have seen better shooting mechanics and level design.

Yes this game does have it's share of issues. The aiming can be off at times. There were a few occasions where I had to restart a section because ****. And lastly the cover system really does not work very well. Actually I found myself hoping I could turn off the cover system all together. However, this game is so gritty and stylish, I would play this over the commercialized games like Modern Warfare 3 any day. Yes, I said it.

This game is terrible, One of the worst games on the system. How it managed to spawn a sequel is amazing in itself. Avoid at all costs, even for free it's still a gamble.

Feels horrible. The second one is good, but they didn't even explore the characters enough for this to be worth it.
