HTR+ Slot Car Simulation is fun, easy to look at and features moderate depth. There are multiple modes to choose from and allows you to create even more content with the track editor. It will take you some time to unlock all the vehicles and parts for customisation but if you can deal with the repetitive soundtrack and grinding the same courses your all set.
If you grew up racing RC cars, then you might want to give HTR+ a chance. Otherwise, existing games in the genre will probably scratch the itch for you.
Which means that unless you just want to win a whole bunch of races without even trying, you can probably avoid HTR+ Slot Car Simulation.

Not a bad idea for a racing game where you just need to control acceleration but it doesn't work. There is only one control and it is acceleration and they couldn't get it right. Analog stick is too sensitive. The better touch controls are touch controls so it isn't good. Maybe this would have been better on PS4 with a good analog trigger. Pass on this game.

HTR+ is a beautiful and authentic looking slot car simulator that brings all the excitement and fun of racing to the PS Vita. However, because of its flawed controls and lack of multiplayer, that fun and excitement doesn't last long. HTR+ can be fun in short bursts, but the thrill quickly wears off.
