The best game of baseball on any next-gen system.

The game does have the most realistic feeling of pitching and changing speeds that I have ever seen and it is chock full of options. If you are not concerned with graphics, you should enjoy this game.

It’s not bad (like "Green Rogue" bad), but it’s certainly not 3DO’s best game (like High Heat Baseball 2002 for the PC).

A killer combination of awesome controls and realistic details, proving to be much more fun than EA Sports' "Triple Play Baseball."

If you're able to overlook the game's crappy graphics you'll find that HHMLM 2002 is the best baseball simulation that you'll find on PlayStation 2.
83
Clearly the first impression High Heat makes is one of an ugly girl. It's ugly. Real ugly. But once you get into the game you'll uncover a pretty good baseball game.

It suffers from a limited feature set compared to its PC brother and the visuals aren't state of the art. It does set the standard for realistic baseball on the PS2.
75
The action on the field is also masterfully recreated with a variety of fly and ground balls that spin, curve and bloop just as they do in real life, not to mention the comical errors that happen when fielders try to reel them in.
61
A realistic game that has a lot of configurable options and statistical tracking. However... you'll probably be disappointed by the game's lackluster graphics and average sound.
20
An embarrassment. When the players run bowlegged to field a ball, it’s hard to take this game seriously.
