GOODGAME EMPIRE
Some interesting ideas lie within Goodgame Empires. Running a kingdom, forming alliances, and conquering your enemies sounds like a recipe for success on paper. This however, is a recipe to bleed the pockets of anybody who plays – unless they have ridiculous patience.

The Golden Cage of "Goodness": A Review from the Other SideRating: A Chilling 0/5 Stars – Not for the game, but for what it does to **** think you're good at Goodgame Empire? You think your meticulous planning, your 2 AM raids, your perfectly optimized resource chains, and your alliance's iron grip on the Great Empire make you a winner? Let me tell you, from the cold, clinical distance of someone who once stood exactly where you are: You are not winning. You are being consumed. And it's a disgusting, soul-crushing spectacle to behold.I was you. I climbed the ranks. I mastered the art of the multi-target attack, the precise timing of a reinforcement, the intricate dance of alliance politics. My castles were impenetrable, my resource generation legendary, my influence vast. I sacrificed sleep, neglected friendships, and convinced myself that the thrill of dominance was worth the persistent, low-level anxiety. I saw the top players, the whales, the truly "elite," and I envied their effortless power, their seemingly endless coffers of **** the more "good" I became, the more the game transformed from a fun escape into a digital straitjacket. The "strategy" devolved into a repetitive grind. Every event became a chore, every new feature another variable to optimize, another layer of commitment. The joy of a successful raid was quickly overshadowed by the dread of the next enemy alliance, the need to defend, to expand, to maintain. This isn't a game; it's an insidious, meticulously crafted treadmill designed to make you feel perpetually behind, even when you're at the front. The disgust creeps in slowly:The Disgust of the Grind: You're not "playing." You're working. You're clicking, farming, building, defending. It's a second job that pays nothing but an ephemeral, hollow sense of digital superiority. The spreadsheets in your head, the alarms set for reinforcement arrivals – it's **** Disgust of the Time Sink: Look at your clock. Look at your life. How many hours have you poured into this pixelated empire? Hours you could have spent with loved ones, learning a new skill, experiencing the real world. That feeling of an aching back, bleary eyes, and the stale taste of ambition in your mouth – that's the taste of your life slipping **** Disgust of the "Pay-to-Win" Trap: Oh, you're skilled? You're efficient? Great. Now watch as someone who simply buys endless rubies crushes months of your "good playing" with a single click. Or worse, watch yourself slowly succumb, making that first small purchase, then another, then another, justifying it as "investment" in your "empire." It's a humiliating surrender to a system designed to exploit your competitive **** Disgust of the Emptiness: You conquer a prime castle. You crush a rival. You dominate an event. And then what? The thrill fades. The congratulations are hollow. You're just back to the same cycle, the same grind, the same anxiety of holding onto what you've "earned." There's no narrative closure, no ultimate victory, just an endless, repetitive loop of resource management and digital bullying. You become what you once fought against: a cog in the machine, a relentless, joyless **** Disgust with Yourself: This is the worst part. The quiet moments when you realize how much you've invested, how little you've gained, how much of your actual life you've sacrificed for a fleeting, inconsequential digital fantasy. The shame. The regret. That's the true taste of "Goodgame Empire" for those who play it "well."If you are "good" at Goodgame Empire, I implore you: look away from the screen. Look at your hands. They're clicking, not creating. Look at your eyes. They're fixated, not seeing. Look at your life. Is this really the empire you want to build? This game doesn't reward skill; it rewards obsession. It doesn't celebrate victory; it perpetuates addiction. The more "good" you become, the more thoroughly it owns you. Escape while you still can. Reclaim your time, your energy, and your self-respect. Only then will the true disgust of what you've been doing finally lift.

Used to be so good and a great community but now ruined by cheats - basically players are using bots and multiaccounts to collect prizes, points and positions and then sell those on to the highest bidder. This means normal players are wasting their time taking part in events and spending money within the **** simply not worth it - find another game.

Hello gamers, There is a new website (in English) for getting help & tips with "goodgame" Empire. **** You may find articles, tips, guides, articles, RBC spy reports (with attack formation suggestion), there is a unique feature for comparison of commanders and castellans, with ability to see their maxed stats (so you can know in advance if you want to invest coins on upgrade them !) and much more... Here is the link: **** BTW, of course that every comment & idea you have or any other feedback will be appreciated. If you want to include a commander/casttellan that I do not have in the comparison page, please use the "contact us" which will send me a direct email, and I will do my best to add it.

I really like the game! It takes patience and is not fast-passed, but it is fun, requires some strategy, and lets you build friendships. I have heard the complaints about this game, and I am level 56, have one account, and I've not purchased rubies. The one complaint I do have with the game is the constant ruby offers, which I think should have a place next to the options at the bottom as a store of sorts, instead of being presented as pop-ups. All in all, the game has great visuals, good alliance and attacking mechanics, fun events, interesting territories, and is just an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend this to those who: want a more lax game that pays off with dedication, are fans of midevil and historical settings, and who like to use an alliance/team dynamic. Not for everybody, but still absolutely worth a try!

I grew up with this game, played it for 6 years, made friends and wasted countless hours on grinding for unique rewards, and honestly I had a blast, but unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. There are many microtransactions, and it got boring, all you have to do is attack NPCs in order to get extremely overpowered, only to do the same thing over and over again. It's still an enjoyable game if you play it for fun, customize your castle, talk to other players, make friends, and create an alliance, but if you want to take it seriously, prepare for ridiculous grinding.

7/10 Great ideas and graphics, don't mind the time this game takes but you need to mindlessly click too many times and it is P2W in the way the top players all spend money but it is possible to compete without money

This game was good when i played it for the 1st **** you get bored of it very quickly.I have been playing this game for 5 years and on every update they keep messing it up.Instead of adding something useful and rewarding for the player they add useless features and more things to buy with actual money. They dont want the player to have fun for free and after some weeks of playing you will understand that without paying you ain't going nowhere.I Do not recommend this game at all

The game would be great if it wasn't total controlled by PAY-TO-WIN jerks who bully everyone else for fun. This is the type of game where if you don't spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to be the best, you are so vastly under-powered that you have 0% chance of winning an attack or defending yourself from an attack. There are entire alliance of 50-100 people who just BUY advantage and ruin the game for everyone else.
