It was really great, how could these graphics be on PS2? Again, the story is fantastic. Again, the best voice acting, the best music, the best fit for the game environment.

A perfect sequel to the first game, some new mechanics are added, making the game even better. Still, the hint option could be useful and time-saving.

God Of War 2 é incrível, e muito bom, os mundo é muito bom e criativo, as armas são boa, os chefes são lendários, memoráveis, e desafiadores, e a história de vingança do Kratos contra o Zeus prende o jogador até o fim, as trilhas sonoras do jogo são bem feito e incríveis, misturando as músicas com vozes em grego, no final das contas, god Of War 2 é um dos melhores jogos da franquia God Of War.

I finished the game after 10 hours. This game is a MASTERPIECE, easily my favorite game of the OG trilogy/Greek saga so far. This sequel MOGS its predecessor IN EVERYTHING from gameplay to story, and SO MUCH MORE! First off, the gameplay is so MUCH better than 2. The refined combat and magic are so much more fun than it was in the first game. They upgraded the combat with some new moves, which allows you to pull off even more insane combos, which, once again, feels satisfying to pull off. You have your usual blades (In this game, they're called Athena Blades), but on top of that, they even give you three new weapons that you can unlock through playing the game! (Barbarian Hammer, Spear of Destiny, and Blade of Olympus), Each weapon is great for its different uses, so it's nice to have some variety and options and to see which one is best for the situation. Magic abilities are back and better! There are 4 new abilities that you can unlock in the game. (Typhon's Bane, which is basically a bow that you shoot at enemies from a distance, Cronos' Rage, a very cool electrical attack that is good for crowd control and combo building, which is my personal favorite, Head of Euryale, which allows you to turn enemies into stone, destroying them easily, and Atlas Quake, allowing you to shake the ground. sending your enemies back, also good for crowd control.) And lastly, you have your Rage of the Titans ability, which replaces the Rage of the Gods ability from the first game. And the best part. YOU CAN TURN IT ON AND OFF AT WILL! Really nice QoL feature. The QTE system is back and much better in this game, too. God of War 2 also introduces some new mechanics and more QoL features! First, there's grappling, where you can use your blades to swing across gaps and reach high places, so cool! You can now climb ceilings, and you can climb walls (and also slide down walls), ceilings, and ladders faster! You can GLIDE with the Icarus Wings that you unlock in the game, which helps you get across places, again, SO COOL! The Golden Fleece, which you also unlock in the game, allows you to parry and reflect projectiles back to your attackers, and lastly, you can even control time with the Amulet of the Fates! (Which is tied to the narrative.) This can help you bypass fast obstacles, it can be used during combat to your advantage, and even help to solve puzzles. This game also introduces Bonus Play (which is pretty much New Game Plus), which is great for replayability! Truly incredible things they added here. THE LEVELS AND PUZZLES ARE SO MUCH BETTER HERE. I think one of the flaws in the first game is that the level and puzzles had some bad pacing and were not very consistent. GOW 2 fixes that. The levels are much better and very fun, even the puzzles were done better in this game than the first, and it just has so much better pacing. Another flaw in the first game was the bosses. There were only like 3 major bosses, and that's it. THIS GAME BLOWS IT OUT OF THE WATER, SO MANY MORE BOSSES HAVE BEEN ADDED, AND THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER AND MORE FUN THAN IN THE FIRST GAME! Every boss battle feels epic and cinematic; they really stepped up their game here, once again, incredible. The visuals in this game are so breathtaking, for a PS2 game, they knocked it out of the park with the visuals and graphics, WAY AHEAD of it's time, that's for sure. The soundtrack is low-key even better as well! I love the main menu theme of the game so much, it's so peak. And lastly, the story. Dude, from the opening act to the ending, the story and narrative of this game IS INCREDIBLE from start to finish. I've got to say, the opening act of God of War 2 is one of the GREATEST and most badass opening acts I have experienced in any video game ever, truly peak fiction. The story just keeps you engaged throughout the game and has you wanting more. They expand the lore and mythology as well, which is really cool, dude. Even the ending is peak and EVEN sets up the next game (God of War 3) on an epic cliffhanger!!! Now THAT'S how you get people engaged and hyped for the next game. The story MOGS, the predecessor, is truly incredible stuff here, man, I love it. To conclude, God of War 2 is an INCREDIBLE sequel that exceeded my expectations and has improved and done everything completely right from the first game in every. single. way. This is one of the greatest video game sequels I have ever played in my life and honestly one of the greatest video games OF ALL TIME. This is like in my top 20 now. This was truly an incredible experience, and I will 100% be coming back to this and replaying the game here and there. If you have not played this game, please play the first game and then this one. You will not regret it, seriously. I cannot wait to experience the next mainline game, God of War 3. Once again, this game is a masterpiece and is a near-perfect, timeless classic. Generational game. Highly recommend, 10/10.

One of the best games ever i love every scend of it.This game is almost perfect in the gaming world. It boasts a thrilling story, legendary level variety, a superb combat system, a diverse arsenal of weapons, and breathtaking art style. In short, it's a gem among games and deserves a perfect 10/10!

Another absolutely epic adventure with Kratos, and honestly an improvement over the first game in almost every way. The original was already great, but this sequel feels more polished, smoother, and much more confident with what it wants to **** combat is easily one of the biggest improvements. The controls feel tighter, combos flow better, and the overall pacing of fights is much more satisfying. There’s a really good balance between brutal hack-and-slash action, magic abilities, and larger cinematic moments, which keeps the gameplay constantly exciting instead of repetitive. The game also throws a lot more enemy variety at you, so fights rarely become **** boss battles in particular are incredible. The scale of some encounters is just ridiculous in the best possible way, and the game constantly tries to outdo itself with bigger and more over-the-top set **** thing I appreciated a lot is that the platforming and puzzle sections feel much less frustrating this time around. The first game occasionally had moments that dragged a bit, but here the pacing feels far smoother overall, which made the adventure more enjoyable from start to **** final stretch of the game was super hype and did a fantastic job building anticipation for God of War III. It really feels like the perfect setup for an even bigger finale.

God of War II mejora prácticamente todo respecto al primero. Más grande, más variado y con algunos de los momentos más recordados de la saga. Para muchos, el mejor de la etapa clásica.

God of War II es una absoluta lección magistral de diseño que ha demostrado sobrevivir sin problemas el paso del tiempo. Sus controles, diseño de niveles, enfrentamientos, jefes, combos y puzles son precisos, coherentes y están al servicio de una experiencia perfectamente medida. Las dimensiones que alcanza este juego en un sistema de 2007 son asombrosas, y no han vuelto a sentirse con la misma sorpresa ni siquiera cuando la saga se volvió más grandilocuente y gráficamente impresionante en God of War III. No es una cuestión de potencia ni de espectáculo puro: es diseño. Estamos ante un título que demuestra que lo verdaderamente importante es el dominio de la cámara y del espacio, capaz de generar una auténtica sensación de vértigo —de forma similar a Shadow of the Colossus. Another classic that definitely deserves a remake, though in my opinion it’s the weakest of the trilogy, even though I still really enjoyed it. On a technical level, it’s quite similar to the first game, with solid gameplay and visuals for its time. However, when it comes to the narrative, I found it a bit weaker compared to the original, lacking some of the depth and impact that made the first entry so memorable. Even so, it’s still a fun experience and worth playing.

God of War II is a fantastic game. I've played God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. Then I tried to play God of War I but couldn't because of some technical difficulties so I decided to just skip to GoW II and I'm really glad I did. This seems like a much better version of the first game. It is the story of Kratos wanting to kill Zeus but he needs to find the Sisters of Fate in order to go back in time to when Zeus took all Kratos' power and killed him. It is a long journey. You meet many different characters from the Greek Mythology and I loved every part of it. And the ending was amazing as well. I love how Kratos is just incredibly enraged at all times and kills everyone to use for his journey. And for the gameplay. The platforming is surprisingly very essential to the gameplay and is good. It is mostly interesting trying to find where you should go from and how to get there. But there are some issues with it, first of all at times platforming with the fixed camera is a pain in the ass and when you fall back to the ground while platforming it makes more sense to just kill yourself or restart from the checkpoint then to do the whole thing again. Then there are the puzzle parts, they are tricky but solveable. I admit to looking at YouTube for some of them but I still think they are all solveable with only some patience. You should also follow the game with focus. And for Combat, first of all, this is probably one of the most epic games I've ever played. Right from the start with that Colossus fight was incredibly well designed. But all the boss fights (which there were many, many of) were all great as well. This is the main downside of the current games, the lack of epic boss fights but here, they were almost always great. And the non boss-fight combat sequences were very pleasing as well. The enemy waves are challenging but they are fun. Although one issue is having to open a chest for health while fighting is not very good desing. You sometimes get health from enemies as well but if there is a chest, there is a good chance you'll need to open it. It slows down your flow and is tough to do right. I really like Blades of Chaos as a weapon. I think they are unique, characteristic and fun to use. I liked the upgrades you can do as well althogh coming from the last game there may have been some cooler stuff that I would want to use more. I like the main abilities as well and used them a lot. But I never wanted to use the other weapons and I think they were really unnecessary. But all in all probably the best combat of it's time. Overall, this is one of the best action adventure games that I've played and I'm excited to see what more awaits me. (91/100)

Si piensas en ps2, piensas en god of war 2. Un juego que sacó provecho al máximo a la consola, una historia atrapante desde el primer momento y un gameplay que toma lo mejor de la primera entrega y agrega ideas que mejoran completamente la jugabilidad. Es uno de los mejores juegos de la historia.

This is probably my favorite God of War. I’ve beaten GOW II countless times since I was a kid. Replaying this masterpiece is always an unmatched nostalgia, and I can say that without this game, my personality today would be completely different.

Great game, I think it's much better than the first God of War with more complex and better levels, the temple where most of the game takes place seems spectacular to me, the bosses, although they seem to me to be at the level of the God of War saga, spectacular and iconic, the game is very beautiful and narratively better than the first one, in short, a great game that improves a lot for me compared to the first installment and the spectacular ending, I recommend it 100%. tão bom quanto o 1, talvez ainda melhor, mas acho que é grande de mais, sei lá só zerei ele 1x e o 1 eu zerei mais de 20x, mas a historia é otima, o jogo é desafiador, os combos são otimos, não consigo pensar em outro defeito além do fato que eu acho que o jogo se arasta pra terminar.

An amazing sequel that expands upon its predecessor. It's bigger and better than the original. This was one of the last major titles released on the PS2. But it ranks up with the best action games on the console. A true swan song for the legendary PlayStation 2. I'd rate it with a 9.4 out of 10.

Played this game during my childhood on ps2. Replayed it Remaster version on PS3. Probably in top 5 of my all time favourite games. Amazing storyline and majestic soundtracks that are still on my playlist.

One of my favorite ps2 games and GOW games in general, amazing combat, story, music and bosses. Still very fun to this day and it's very impressive considering limiting hardware of ps2.
