Goat Simulator: The GOATY is a definitive edition of Coffee Stain Studios' slapstick destruction simulator, and as such, it's a mixed bag that varies wildly in quality. The base modes are fun for about five minutes, and there's only so much entertainment to be had from launching a farm animal from the top of a roller coaster before it becomes dull. The Waste of Space and MMO Simulator expansions are decent fun in their own right thanks to a greater sense of structure, but the purposefully crude mechanics will start to grate after a while. This is a package that arguably works best as a smartphone proposition for when you've got five minutes to kill; when placed on a proper console with many more worthy uses of your time, it all starts to feel more than a little inconsequential.

There isn’t anything necessarily wrong with the game itself but I’m a little mixed on the switch version at least, this is an open world game where you play as a goat amongst all things and you complete missions to unlock more goats and achievements, it’s pretty fun but the game runs a little roughly on the Nintendo switch, the frame rate drops a lot of the time and there are a couple glitches but they aren’t very common, If I were you I wouldn’t get this game unless it was on sale which it currently is by the time I posted this, I would say that this game is just ok

This game has been great value for money. We all just keep coming back to it over about a year. It's not played all the time, but it's never really forgotten for long either. There's nothing stressful or hard about playing it. No ground-breaking cinematic narrative. Just lots of silly fun.

Its just an extremely fun rag doll game, just go around the world and cause chaos. May appeal to people who like doing stuff like that in GTA but it's not nearly as deep. Check it out, its just chaotic fun, and it works perfectly on switch, a platform which I think very well suits a game like this which is most fun to just casually take out, which fits the portable console.

This game has been great value for money. We all just keep coming back to it over about a year. It's not played all the time, but it's never really forgotten for long either. There's nothing stressful or hard about playing it. No ground-breaking cinematic narrative. Just lots of silly fun.

Goat Simulator is a fun little diversion in short bursts, but its absurd premise and deliberately janky presentation and controls wear thin after a while. Considering this started as an April Fool's joke, it's quite an accomplishment; it just isn't as enjoyable on Nintendo Switch as I'd hoped.

This game is just bad, its fun for half an hour but the poor performane just makes it had to keep playing. It consistently drops to what looks/feels like 20fps or below on my Switch Lite making it hard to play. Don't buy this game. At most you may have a few hours of fun but don't expect much more than that,

Disappointing. Was hoping to truly simulate a goat. They could have done a lot with this game to make it fun, but the zombies, poison breath, and creating shooting weapons, left it disappointing. Not to mention the goat movement is terrible. 1990's quality. Strafe left/right and the goat just slides.
