Good game, but there are a lot of bugs... The game also try to bring a difficult using hard places to find, like doors, space to pass... This kind of dificult is not fun, instead they could put some pluzzes if you can hold the player in the game... Despite that, the game has an amazing story, great characters and nice graphics.

The only real difference between this game and the original version is the graphics it no longer has the awful filter that made everything kind of blend together but that is about the only change but still its a big enough change for me to recommend this over the original version

A solid remaster with all DLC included and a few new extras. It's a must for action fans that never played it on the Xbox 360. Developer The Coalition re-created the cutscenes with more details and brighter colors. They also added a drop in/drop out feature during co-op play, two multiplayer modes (King of the Hill and Team Deathmatch) and a new map. The game's resolution was also upgraded to 1080p and the online matches run at 60 fps. Overall, I would rate the Ultimate Edition with an 8 out of 10.

I had a blast with the campaign, and I would say the updated visuals totally make it worth playing in 2025, unlike Gears 2, which looks awful if you try to play it now.

Eu joguei o Gears of War original e posso dizer que essa remasterização é muito boa, os gráficos deram uma boa melhora, se não fosse alguns problemas de iluminação daria pra confundir esse jogo de One como um jogo de Series, a história ficou mais bem aproveitada na minha opinião, a dublagem ficou boa em alguns como a voz do Marcus Fenix, e outras ficaram mais ou menos como a do Dom, no geral, é um jogo muito bom, se você jogou o primeiro Gears, recomendo essa remasterização Nota: 9,5/10

I played this game on my Xbox Series, this is the first game I played from this franchise, but I didn't like it. The game is very boring and at each stage I felt like I knew what was going to happen in the story, the game is simple and extremely repetitive.

Cringe dialogue, bad voice acting, minimal backstory, gameplay is boring. Never even slightly interested me until like the last cutscene or two.

This enhanced remaster of "Gears of War" features updated graphics, re-done cutscenes, extra levels and the addition of hidden collectibles. It also includes all DLC, new multiplayer modes, drop in/drop out during co-op play, a higher resolution and faster framerate. But despite all the upgrades, the game feels rather dated. I would rate it with an 8 out of 10.

The best port of the series. Its fun and looks brilliant in full HD. Run perfect on series S / X. This is the best remastered ever in xbox. If you haven't played before, you should try it out.

Easy 8 out of 10 in 2023. Yes, I have just started playing Gears series, but this game delivers everything right. Design is great and unique, music and sound is exceptional, gameplay is great looking back 10 years ago. All in all absolutely genuine product without any overflows.

7.7/10 Story: 7.5 Gameplay: 8 Game Mechanics: 7.8 The story was pretty bland; it didn't move much, and much stayed in one location. The first entries of every game or game series should build stuff up and get the player interested in the world; this game delivered this very poorly. Gameplay was cool, with different weapons and styles; Hammer of Dawn was a nice touch. The mechanics were ok; the AI was buggy sometimes and not helpful at times.

La verdad no me gusto mucho, tienes sus bugs y la historia esta muy genérica, las graficas están mal para ser un remaster.

Buen remake. Supongo que el sistema de coberturas en su día fue revolucionario. No tengo claro que fuera el primero. En todo caso, intenso y variado en sus modos de contenidos.

This is my very first Gears of War game. The game looks and feels amazing, it has some breathtaking views and atmospheric locations. This is not a game that you play for the story (cause there is no one) but just to relax and have some fun with friends.

Um bom Gears, divertido e bem feito. A dublagem é muito boa e o Marcus é bem marcante. A jogabilidade é boa, mas poderia ser melhor. Gráficos excelentes e trilha sonora bem boa.

An amazing game, a great remaster, and still one of the best 3rd person shooters/action adventure games out there. If you have never played Gears start here. If you have Gamepass and have never played download this now and play it!

Bom remaster. Manteve a estrutura do original. Jogabilidade excelente, uma das melhores da categoria. Ambientes fantásticos que proporciona imersão na campanha. É um jogo obrigatório pra todo dono de XBOX e/ou fã de TPS.

My first GOW game, and I am happy I decided to give gears games a go. Absolutely loved every minute of it, and played through the campaign in almost a single sitting over the weekend. Absolutely one of the most entertaining shooter I've played in a long time.

For me, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition can be summarized as the following: lack of balance which leads to a frustrating mess... Pros: +Solid gunplay +The remastered graphics look nice and are a clear upgrade +The cover system works as intended, for the most part Cons: -Story was fairly simple & boring -Characters were all pretty one dimensional -Friendly A.I. is atrocious, which makes it extremely hard to play solo -Enemies are bullet sponges and they all focus on the player and not the A.I. -Enemies often have one to two shot weapons which create frustrating encounters where it's not about skill as much as it is about luck, since the friendly A.I. won't help -Boss fights are a joke & rage inducing because of the problems listed above -Art style is pretty bland (black/grey trend of early 2000's games) -Soundtrack is pretty forgettable for the most part Overall, I would not recommend it if you're planning on playing it by yourself, unless you stick with the lower difficulties (which I did not unfortunately) or if you like to play games that make you feel bad about yourself. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition feels tedious, frustrating and a new form of torture, carried only by its solid gameplay.

10/10. Just a perfect game! It has good gameplay and cool story. Can't wait to play Gears of War 2!

A pesar de haberlo jugado en su momento en la 360, lo he vuelto a jugar en la One totalmente remasterizado y es una pasada, totalmente recomendable.

The original Gears of War brought back to life and man was it great playing it all over again.

Nota 10, apesar de não ter jogado na sequência, por ora é o melhor Gears que já joguei.

Very amusing game, that doesn't take the genre too seriously. Well balanced, good action, great graphics, very do-able for a player like me that is not a great shooter. But best of all: a game filled with nice, big chunk-a-chunks of men candy!

This is a great remaster/remake of the original GOW. If the frame rate was better it would make the game even more enjoyable (and I would of given it a 10). It is a great way for the newer generation to get into gears.

У игры если и были тестеры, то их компетенции/количества было явно не достаточно!Soft-лок в 5 акте,тот кто расставлял чекпоинты в epic возможно был не опытен(хотя для такой игры должны были выделить лучших из лучших. Это же был главный тайтл после Halo)и ему/им можно было это простить,но в 2015 ТАК РАССТАВЛЯТЬ ЧЕКПОИНТЫ НЕЛЬЗЯ! P.s.Русская локализация тоже не тестировалась.Куча ошибок перевода(да, именно по смыслу фраз бьёт)неправильная работа актеров, человек по подбору кадров - в принцепе работать скорее всего а данной отрасли не должен(скорее всего сроки были конские, но на то вы и специалисты должны быть что бы объяснить все издателю правильно или сделать так как он хочет, вот только качественно)

Os gráficos estão muito bons, a história é sensacional. Só não dei a nota máxima porque tive problema com o HDR automático no Série S.

Excellent third-person shooter. A game that was very influential in its day, especially for the cover system from which other games such as the 'Uncharted' saga later borrowed ideas. I have to say that I haven't played the original XBOX 360 version, so for me this is the first contact with the series. The shootouts are frantic and challenging and the scenario design is pretty good, perhaps falling a bit into repetition as you get further into the game. The exploration of the scenarios is reinforced with the usual mechanics of searching for collectibles to unlock, in this case, comic pages. In short, if you're in the mood for a third-person shooter, pure, unabashed action, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition delivers it without a hitch, for 8 to 10 hours of straightforward, adrenaline-fuelled fun.

This game is still pretty good but i can not notice any changes from the original except for the fact that the graphics are way better. The game is still good but i don't know the difference and i regret buying Ultimate Edition because i could just play the old title.

A great remaster of a fantastic game, the game has stunning visuals and excellent gunplay with a very interesting world. The story is a little weak and the AI can be very dumb at times but overall it's a great game that still holds up well.

Well, this is a disappointing introduction to one of xbox's flagship title. People said, it's a game you need to play during that gen, might be.. but i can still say the story was non-existent, and the characters were all generic gruff military dudes. It's probably a decent shooting gallery *for it's **** i still felt underwhelmed by the overall clunky gameplay and kill everything game design. Not interested in it's multiplayer because of it's uninteresting core gameplay, plus I'm not a fan of pve in any game. Maybe gears isn't for me, who knows? Still 85% sure I would've felt the same way if I played this game back in 2006? w.e
