They deceived me with Gran Turismo. I was his biggest fan and now I hate the saga for deceiving me by hiding this jewel that surpasses him in everything. He kicks Gran Turismo lying fanboys

Trash, we pass from realism in FM4 to the most boring and arcady physics in FM5, this is awful

Recently played this game after already played 6/7 and honestly don’t get why so much hate. 1080p 60 on the Xbox one? Yeah content may be lacking but for a next gen show case this definitely delivered. Apart from track being abit repetitive after a while a good while of game play nothing bad to say.

Good but its sequel, FM6, has surpassed it in every way. Gets kind of boring after a while and doesn't have the best cars.

The first game on the new Xbox one console but not one of the best racing games I’ve played, I got bored very easily.

No caso: FM6.

With Forza Motorsport 5 they decided to go full on micro-transactions to **** all the fun out of it and expect players to fork out real cash for cars.

Forza 5 is in every way apart from graphics, worse than Forza 4. Hell, it's probably the same story when comparing it to Forza 2. I mean, yes, the game is aesthetically pleasing, but Forza 2 was the first Forza game on the Xbox 360, and that boosted the car list from 150 to 350. That's a brilliant improvement. Forza 5 comes along and instead of having 700 cars from Forza 4, we're greeted with 200. Wow. Sorry Turn 10, but if everything is mechanically worse, i think a rating of 5/10 is generous.

The good: Xbox had the courage to use Forza Motorsport as the flag of the new generation back in 2013. The Drivatar system, you train your virtual self so that while you are off line, drive for you while you don't really play and are disconnected, earning credits for Use it and buy more cars. The bad: Iconic tracks were lost and the remaining tracks seem few because it does not overcrowded the distribution of tracks and places properly at the events (this was corrected with a patch and with the arrival of Long Beach and Nurburgring). It has some frame pulls at Bowling events, outside of that the game looks spectacular. Some multiplayer and community achievements can no longer be taken out. Lo Meh !: The chips to buy cars (redeeming real money for sayings to buy cars) is neither good nor bad but it is an option if you felt you were not moving forward and wanted to run in other categories. "The power of the cloud", this if I experience it when I compare my experience playing connected vs a co-worker who played offline since in my game in Nurbur or in Nurburing I saw leaves falling and in my friend's, not in Laguna Seca I saw dust whirlpools by air currents and in that of the no and the helicopter following the race I saw it years before that of my friend ... those details were processed in the cloud and enriched my game with silly details but if they were there

Forza 5 was my introduction to the Forza franchise and is a great game overall. With gorgeous graphics, a silky smooth 60 fps and many great tracks the game is a joy to play. However, the game is held back by its lack of content as it feels that the game was rushed quickly to meet the launch of the Xbox One.

Forza Motorsport 5 offers us a great car simulation experience, even though it has a limited number of circuits and cars.

Simply not good. T10 went backwards with FM5. With only 200 cars and no nurburgring, FM5 is the first forza on xbox **** definitely not the best of the series. The micro/macrotransactions shouldn't even exist for a title like this.

Fun racing game. From the graphics and a lot of cars and even the way they handle its real nice. Xbox first good game of next gen consoles. I like going through all the tracks trying to beat my best time.

Forza 5 continues the series with another boring and generic racer which feels like most other realistic racing games. Could not play it for more than an hour before putting down my controller in boredom. The graphics of the cars look nice, and some of the tracks are very detailed however, as a launch title, seeing the crowd look like cardboard cutouts is not the sign of a next generation game.

In fact this is not classic racing game. This game is about enjoy the cars in a short races for earn game credits, than buy a new car to do it again. Cars are great created, licenced, with many details and there are hundreds of them. But there are not so many circuits and after some time you will have repetitive feeling. That is the main problem of the game - you are doing still same thing and you feel no extra progress. But summary, the game has nice graphics, great atmosphere, very good driving system and cool car models. I also like positive game motivation to try harder difficulty - you have bonus credits for every more real feature you activate. Great racing game for Xbox platform.

I have been disappointed with my experience of Forza Motorsport 5 and can only imagine that such disappointment will continue through the series. Though I am not an avid follower of the game, I have enjoyed previous installments, but my frustrations surmounted those experiences. While Forza will continue to boast their graphics and availability of cars, to which there can be little argument made, the game play far outweighs any beauty, in a negative manner. The system of difficulty is set such that computers are aggressive towards the player. Those that are behind will only hinder the possibility of progression through the field. This is increasingly frustrating on small tracks with tight turns as the player is placed in the back of the pack only to be blocked by a conglomerate of CPU's, designed to suppress the player, that are unaffected by any beating the player may deal whereas the player is penalized with damages reducing race performance. So, an indestructible force is placed in front of a fragile player. This makes game play very displeasing and frustrating. How could this be alleviated? Well, one may suggest that rather than having malicious CPU's, faster ones would be more appropriate. This has been done in the past and only makes the class system of vehicles a terrible hindrance to the player as they are confined to the amount of customization dependent on the race. It seems there is not a great way to produce challenging game play that is not frustrating in the disadvantageous manner that has been presented. Unfortunately, racing games will fall by the wayside for single player use like many other franchises have seen. Maybe there is hope for Forza 6, but it does not seem likely as Forza follows similar patterns in game play throughout the years only adding minor aspects here and there, it seems.

Half the content of Forza 4, and pretty much nothing new to offer Mediocre at best, it is probably the weakest Forza so far. There's not much else I can say except that there are definitely much better Forza games.

There's enough cars, which are unique in look, sound and the feeling when you drive it. However - there are not enough tracks and cars are priced too high. Driving is hard but I do not normally play racing games.

I love this game and it's still one of my favorite on my Xbox One. The graphics are really impressive and the design of each race tracks is on point. I really love the sensation of speed when you push the most powerful cars in the game. Things I hate: Some really great cars are inaccessible if you don't want to spend some money and there are definitely less cars than previous Forza Games. I find that some races were getting really repetitive and that you really have to grind a lot sometimes to advance in the game. Still great game to have in your collection, can't wait for the next one in the series!

Forza is an awesome realistic car game made with the most detail I have ever seen in any car game. It is a great for people who are car enthusiasts and I am which made me enjoy the game, but the problem I had with the game was that they needed more maps because I felt that it was getting a bit too repetitive and there is too much DLC. Way too much!! If you are a casual car gamer then I would recommend to buy and if you are a car enthusiast definently buy it, but if you are a person who aren't really into racing games do not get the game because you will be bored by the game very quickly.....

Forza 5 was the first of the. " standard" Forza titles offered on the Xbox one. It is understandably not as large as Forza 4 for the 360. Yet it still delivers the same heart pounding seat of your pants racing experience that no other title can touch. Well worth the invest ment!

All I can say is that having played all the forza games this was a massive disappointment. The main issue is the lack of content. Even with all the DLC I am super bored of doing the same tracks over and over again. The game feels totally half finished and it feels like the developers are forcing you into buying the DLC just so you don't get bored. The career mode lacks direction and gets boring pretty quickly as there's really no/little rewards to motivate you to keep playing so there's very little sense of achievement or progression. They've also not included some of the best features of the previous games such as the popular auction house which is disappointing. That being said the multiplayer is the saving grace of the game, as the racing is competitive and fun and its super easy to find well populated lobbies. However quite often it does feel like whoever has the quickest setup wins, meaning the average joe has no chance. Its worth noting that the game has split screen which is rare these days as most developers don't seem to bother. Other than that the graphics are decent and certain tracks in particular look lush (prague is beautiful), there's still a good array of cars (although less than previous forza's) and the extensive tuning and paint options are still there. At the time of writing this game has been out for a while now and if you can find a very cheap copy it's worth a punt if you're a racing fan, but if not I'd recommend either getting the brilliant project cars instead or waiting for forza 6 and hoping its better than this.

Forza motorsport 5 is a good game but coming off forza 4 it hurt to see missing tracks and about 300 cars but it is still the best racing game out and will be replaced later this year with forza 6. great graphics and audio effects make for a superb racing simulator

Well, to be honest, Forza 5 is quite a standard racing game, which would normally get it a 6/10 in my books, as they tend to be boring, but I'm giving it an 7/10 because of the INSANE graphical fidelity. The graphics were so good, that at some moments, I forgot that I was playing a video game, and thought that I was watching racing on TV. Of course there's other little awesome things that add on to the realism, like your engine heat, the physics, and there's an amazing photo mode. Also, custom paint jobs is awesome. I can understand the low user ratings a bit, seeing as the game is SO realistic, that it tends to be difficult to play. But, at the end of the day, there's no better feeling in Forza 5 than pulling across the finish line in 1st place!

Motorsport 5 realy ****. 400 less cars than forza 4 and 23 less tracks and no more drag, drift or game modes. FORZA FANS DONT BUY THIS GAME. This game is a micro-transaction disaster, because to buy a car it costs more than $100 of real money. The game seems stripped of everything (amount of cars, tracks, races, upgrades, drag racing and drifting all gone.)

Visually it is amazing, the cars are extremely realistic, the maps are beautiful and the driving is a lot of fun. But overall, the game really lacks content, it is extremely repetitive, there is not enough maps, it is really long to level up and gain some money and at the same time winning is too easy.
