All I can say is that having played all the forza games this was a massive disappointment. The main issue is the lack of content. Even with all the DLC I am super bored of doing the same tracks over and over again. The game feels totally half finished and it feels like the developers are forcing you into buying the DLC just so you don't get bored. The career mode lacks direction and gets boring pretty quickly as there's really no/little rewards to motivate you to keep playing so there's very little sense of achievement or progression. They've also not included some of the best features of the previous games such as the popular auction house which is disappointing. That being said the multiplayer is the saving grace of the game, as the racing is competitive and fun and its super easy to find well populated lobbies. However quite often it does feel like whoever has the quickest setup wins, meaning the average joe has no chance. Its worth noting that the game has split screen which is rare these days as most developers don't seem to bother. Other than that the graphics are decent and certain tracks in particular look lush (prague is beautiful), there's still a good array of cars (although less than previous forza's) and the extensive tuning and paint options are still there. At the time of writing this game has been out for a while now and if you can find a very cheap copy it's worth a punt if you're a racing fan, but if not I'd recommend either getting the brilliant project cars instead or waiting for forza 6 and hoping its better than this.

First of all it's worth noting that the bugs with the steering are fixed now. And although a few minor **** (which I understand the developers are working to fix) remain this game is just fantastic. There's a good variety of cars and tracks (with many more free/dlc promised) all of which are incredibly detailed. The graphics are gorgeous. There's a great balance of both challenge and fun as you wrestle to master each track and car. The career is varied enough to keep you interested and huge grids, the option of practice/qualifying, beautiful dynamic weather and all round bang on simulation set it aside from the competition on the console. I could go on but seriously, if you're a racing fan, stop reading this and just buy it now. This is the game I've been waiting for since TOCA Race Driver 3. Would be a straight 10/10 if it wasn't for a few tiny **** - the online matchmaking needs improving and the AI can be a bit weird at times but the game is so good you won't care.
