Just very bad game, altogether. Seems like it was made by unexperienced devs. Clunky, hit reg broken, unresponsive menus, pointless colour filters for arenas, kos even worse than ufc5.

each game the newer it gets the worse it is everything about this game is bad, looks like a mobile game, doesn't feel realistic ,trying too hard to make it cinamatic istead of making it realistic and actually playable but no yall need to make it worse every time and every update , the takedown denials are awful, they work rarely and positions denials the same, knees and elbows are completely useless and the flow state is the dumbest thing i saw, i hope one of yall see this and be proud

UFC 6 ReviewStepping back into the Octagon has never felt so fresh. After a long three-year wait, UFC finally makes its return with UFC 6. Following the disappointing launch of Undisputed, it's time for combat sports games to make a comeback. With new gameplay features and additional game modes, does UFC 6 take home the championship belt, or does it remain the number-one contender? Let's find out.GameplayStand-UpThe striking feels noticeably better this time around. Punches and kicks have much more impact, making every exchange feel satisfying. One of the biggest improvements is how combos flow together. Instead of feeling robotic, attacks transition more naturally from one strike to the next. If you don't like the default feel, there are gameplay settings that let you adjust the striking to be even more **** new feature is a slow-motion dodge mechanic. During key moments in a fight, time slows down, making it easier to evade incoming strikes. While it's a neat idea, I found that it made the game far too easy, so I turned it off after only two fights.Another addition is the Flow State mechanic. Activating Flow State temporarily slows the action while making your fighter significantly faster and stronger. Personally, I wasn't a fan. It made the gameplay feel much more arcade-like than I would have liked. I only used it a couple of times, mainly when objectives required it or when my opponent activated theirs.Despite those additions, the stand-up game is the best it's been in the UFC series. After making a few adjustments in the settings, it delivers a much more enjoyable and realistic **** detail I really appreciated is that fighters finally feel unique. They no longer fight like generic versions of one another. Many of them capture the styles and tendencies they display in the real Octagon, adding authenticity that helps UFC 6 stand out from previous **** is virtually unchanged from UFC 5. Aside from the addition of the new Caged Butterfly position, everything feels familiar. If you enjoyed the grappling system in the previous game, you'll feel right at home here, but don't expect any major innovations.Game ModesFight NowFight Now is exactly what you'd expect. Choose your favourite fighter and compete against either the AI or a friend. You can also customize matches by changing the rules. Whether you want a traditional MMA fight, a stand-and-bang match, or a knockout-only mode complete with arcade-style health bars, there are plenty of options to keep things interesting.ContractsContracts make a welcome return. Each week, EA provides a rotating list of challenges featuring predetermined fighters, match types, and difficulty settings. Completing these challenges rewards you with experience and in-game currency, making it a great way to level up while trying fighters you might not normally ****'s a mode I found myself checking every **** LegacyThe Legacy is UFC 6's new story mode, following the career of Chris Carter from his humble beginnings fighting in a basement MMA gym all the way to the bright lights of the UFC.I was honestly surprised by how short it was. From start to finish, it only took me around three hours to complete.Chris is a talented wrestler whose father was also a successful fighter. Throughout the story, it's clear that Chris feels like he's constantly living in his father's shadow while trying to build his own legacy.Early on, you're introduced to your coach and your training partner, Danny Lopez. As your career begins to take off, Danny grows jealous of your success. After a bar fight involving you, Danny, and your coach, he's kicked out of the gym, setting up the central rivalry of the story. From there, you work your way through the WFA before eventually earning a UFC contract. Between fights, you'll complete training sessions that function almost identically to Career Mode from UFC 5. Unfortunately, there isn't much new **** story is told through occasional cutscenes between fights, eventually leading to the showdown between Chris and Danny inside the Octagon. After that fight, you can choose whether to end the rivalry or continue it.Unfortunately, that's where the story **** me, this mode had so much more potential. It reminded me of Fight Night Champion's Champion Mode, but that game delivered a much stronger story with better writing and more memorable characters. Once The Legacy concludes, it simply transitions into Career Mode, making the ending feel somewhat abrupt.Career ModeCareer Mode returns once again, and it's still my favourite mode in the **** create your own fighter, choose a fighting style, train, climb the rankings, and chase UFC championship gold while attempting to become the greatest of all time.Outside of the fights themselves, Career Mode is nearly identical to UFC 5. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I was hoping for more meaningful **** area that desperately needs improvement is training.

The only good thing about this game is the story mode, which is really well done for a fighting game. Usually, games in this genre don't have such an extensive and well-presented story. That being said, everything else is awful. The controls are absolutely dreadful. There is an insufferable lack of control and a frustrating amount of randomness when moving your character. Furthermore, the roster doesn’t reflect the current reality of the UFC at all; it feels completely outdated, showing champions who held the belt years ago or who aren't even in the organization anymore. This might be forgivable if it weren't for the fact that I am playing this in July 2026, and the game just launched in March 2026. On top of that, the damage scaling is incredibly unbalanced. But the worst part for any UFC fan is that all the fighters feel and move exactly the same. I expected different characters to have distinct movesets, but that's not the case at all. The promise of personalized signature moves is a total lie; they are practically the same fighter hidden under a different skin.

EA Sports UFC 6 is a massive step backward for the franchise, offering a clunky arcade experience instead of a proper sports simulation. The game lazily recycles roughly 80% of its customization assets from a decade ago, features monotonous, copy-pasted arenas, and suffers from completely broken damage logic between rounds and matches. With frustrating controls and a ruined grappling system reduced to pure luck, it fails to live up to the standard set by UFC 3 and is a complete waste of money.

I’ve never been more disappointed/pissed off in my life. Spent over $100 expecting an upgrade from ufc 5 but it’s the damn opposite. How can you go from (analogy) damn near gta 6 graphics to gta 4 graphics. They took the strategy portion right out of the game you can’t throw your own combos. You literally sit there and spam square and it throws its own punches these mfers made a game where you basically just watch the ai fight (poorly) I’m sorry (but not at all cuz I was robbed) but I’m not gonna play a damn game where all I do is press a damn button to throw a jab and my character gets stuck in an endless spinning back fist loop. **** yall and **** yo new piece of **** game. I want a **** refund and the game to be forgotten about until they make one that’s ACTUALLY good.

The Career Mode is bare-bones. It’s very repetitive, and pretty much a copy and paste from UFC 5 (and before). You spend the majority of your time training/sparing. Bruce Buffer’s intros are short, rushed and cheaply recorded. He doesnt say your fighter’s name even if your last name is a pre-recorded name within the game. Theres no weigh ins, no interviews, no way to be 3 belt champ. Your look ot physique doesnt change at all as you age. You fight the same fighters OVER and OVER. The CPU is very weak on the ground. After maxing out ground attributes (which is easy to do) you’ll make Royce Gracie look like a novice. It takes a long time to get a championship fight. Tattoos are boring, plain, and THE EXACT SAME from previous UFC games. It takes multiple stuns to KO somebody even if you have maxed out striking stats. Spinning kick annimations are canceled out by weak jabs. Im 17-2 and im already over it. There is no reply value to this at all. Its very dissapointing to say this game comes out every 3 years and we basically have the same game.

UFC 6 is an absolute disaster that feels more like a shallow mobile port than a premium sports title. The striking mechanics are stiff, animations frequently glitch out, and the ground game remains a convoluted mess of frustrating mini-games. Career mode is repetitive and lacks any meaningful depth, while the predatory microtransactions ruin the online experience. It is a lazy, uninspired cash grab that manages to feel worse than its predecessors in almost every functional way.

They promised everything and delivered nothing, this **** is basically UFC 5 with better graphics!! The positive points are the graphics, the improved violence, and the way the blood splatters it’s infinitely better than UFC 5. The stand-up striking feels very fluid. The negative points are that the game is basically UFC 5, the ragdoll system is still garbage and there’s nothing improved about it, it’s just as bad as UFC 5. The system they said would copy movements perfectly also doesn’t feel like anything special.

While its apparent that a lot of effort and resources went into the fighter animations to help make them all feel unique from one another, I can't help but feel like much more should have been done in the developmental period. UFC 5 felt like such a minor improvement over its predecessor, that many of us I think were expecting a lot more than some new striking and blocking animations. Career mode is virtually untouched, every gameplay aspect outside of striking went largely ignored(grappling, clinching, ground work/transitions,submissions,ground and pound, etc.),the controversial star rating system returns, and the Create A Fighter tools reuse most of the archaic assets as previous games. Instead of focusing on the new throwaway single player modes, such as Legacy and Hall of Legends, you can't help but wonder why more focus wasn't placed on other aspects of the gameplay, especially the ground game, which continues to be a sore spot in the series. And not only is there a serious lack of innovation over previous games, it seems like the trend has been to remove certain aspects and features that have been present in the older games. As an MMA enthusiast, and long time fan of the UFC, I wouldn't be able to recommend this game to the more hardcore MMA fans, not in good faith anyways. I feel like this game is much more directed towards more casual fans of the sport, or those with only a passing interest in MMA. The stamina system is still way too forgiving, allowing fighters to throw an inhuman amount of strikes each round with little consequence. Damage dealt through counters could use a healthy buff to minimize the amount of knockdowns per fight that we are currently seeing, which was an issue that plagued the last 2 games. Flow State is a new mechanic that has been introduced, and has been met with a large volume of pushback, namely due to the jarring visual aesthetics of it, which really pull you out of the immersion of the game and its otherwise gorgeous visuals. The way Flow State was implemented was also a questionable decision, allowing you to store your Flow State to use at your convenience, rather that when your fighter is actually locked in. What stings the most is that this game is on a 2.5-3 year dev cycle, so we are stuck with what feels like a minimalistic effort, til at least 2029. Maybe EA surprises us with a new game mode in its upcoming expansions that brings more depth and replayability to UFC 6, but we will have to wait and see.

As a massive fan who has played this franchise since day one, watching its steady decline has been incredibly frustrating. UFC 6 feels like a new low. The core community has always asked for one thing: a true MMA simulation. Instead, EA has introduced mechanics like 'Flow mode,' which turns the game into an arcade brawler. If I wanted to juggle combos in Tekken, I’d buy Tekken.Furthermore, the sheer volume of bugs and glitches is completely unacceptable for a high-profile, full-priced AAA release. Launching a game in this state is an absolute laugh in the face of the core players who keep this franchise alive. I wanted to believe they were trying to improve, but leaning into a casual arcade style nobody wants was the final straw. This is officially the last time I ever pre-order an EA Sports title. 3 years waiting for this ? Wake up.

Removed over half of the alter egos and roster, barely added anyone new. You can’t use signature fighters at certain eight divisions they fought in. Career mode is worse somehow and abysmal you start 0-0 in the ufc and fight contenders in your first fight. Online is god awful it’s catered to MK and tekken spammers. Same exact ground game and takedowns. Flow state **** and you have to wait a whole month for them to add an option to just turn visuals off. No Dana white mode. Horrendous and unrealistic lighting and haze in the arenas. This is the worst sports game of all time and ea should be ashamed to have put in this low of effort when they have 3 years to make a simple mma sports game when other sports games only have 1. BOYCOTT THIS TRASH. No reason why this should be the only company making mma games.

This is garbage. You people giving this game anything higher than a 3 are sheep. You are the exact reason they screw us over with every release. People keep saying this is ufc 5.1. UFC 5 wasn’t great, but to call this an improvement over that just tells me that you fried your brain in college. That’s me saying a lot, because if you paid for this you clearly didn’t go. The only real improvement here is the striking and it is even buggier than UFC 5. The wrestling is objectively worse but I know the sheep that like this game don’t like to wrestle. Everything else is literally the same. Same taunts, same win celebration, same doctor animation, stripped down career mode, etc. Why is undisputed 3, a game that came out in 2012 still the best ufc game? I’ll tell you why. Because they actually gave a damn. This is a cash grab and honestly I hope every single one of the people that gave this a 5 or above spent 100 on it. I hope you spend 100 on every single release EA puts out. Because a fool easily parts with his money. I paid a dollar for the 10 hour trial. I still feel like I bit the pillow and took it. Don’t waste your time.

To start, this is basically a UFC 5.1 update. Graphics and fighter styles is the only thing improved. However only maybe half the fighters actually look like themselves and the other look weird and mis-shaped, and in reality for a nearly 3 year gap EA should be ashamed. The game is bug ridden can't tell you how many times when the hint to parry, dodge or block would go into slow motioncause the game to go into slow motion to then have to restart, the k.o rag-dolls look ridiculous bouncing around in the strangest ways, flow state is dumb too arcady. They changed nothing to career which 90% of the fan base wanted some sort of "the ultimate fighter type career" (just go to reddit) or even something with depth. Online still somehow won't load after a few games and your stuck in between rounds to only have to quit and give yourself a loss. It's time for EA to give up the mantle, this game is riddled with nickle and diming to get you to purchase a fighter that should already be on the roster.

Same game in a different wrapper. Everything is absolutely the same, with only minor, insignificant changes. This is not a realistic MMA simulator. How can a person fight for five rounds and not get tired at all? Stamina only drops by 15–20% over five rounds, which is completely unrealistic. There are barely any real innovations.A waste of money.

Haters will hate but EA SPORTS UFC 6 is the most authentic MMA game ever made, with unmatched fighter individuality, fluid striking gameplay, and a level of realism that makes every matchup feel unique. Hall of Legends sets the bar for sports games while the presentation, visuals, and fighter likenesses set a new standard for combat games in general. UFC 6 is the franchise at its best and a must-play for both longtime fans and newcomers to the sport.

Same game different coat of paint. Menus are still slow, all the modes look the same, career mode is barren as usual. They do this every few years. Minimal changes to gameplay and graphics. But the worst thing is career mode. Its even worse than before. You make money in the mode but cant spend it. You win championships but nowhere to display your trophies. Its just a stupid menu with terrible presentation. I keep buying it because there is no fighting simulation alternative but this is the last one I buy. Developers should be ashamed, UFC should be ashamed.

People are hating just to hate; it's a solid game. It's entertaining, but it can get a little repetitive with career mode. However, the new mode editions are a cool touch, and so far, gameplay feels great. Everyone is dogging on the flow state, but it isn't bad. Definitely an improvement from 4 and 5.

Booting up UFC 6 and seeing highlight reels was exhilirating and reminded me of the Tony Hawk games where they put actual footage in the game. It then throws you straight to character creator and I realized nothing has changed with EA Sports in the Create-a-fighter category cause the female models are absolutely atrocious. The male presets are much more normal looking but the females look like someone just used the sculptor on the male models. Legacy mode tries to create a compelling story but ends up not really making an impact on me as animations in cutscenes feel robotic and dialogue sounds very scripted and inauthentic. The Hall of Legends is a cool addition where you can learn about a few UFC fighters and their heritage. I really love how they included real life interviews and videos/highlights throughout the game. It would be awesome if and really elevate the experience if they continued to add more fighters. Career mode is more or less the same gameplay and grind as the Legacy mode but you get to pick the fighter. I enjoyed the structure initially but quickly became gassed after doing the same prefight routine over and over again. There's a lot of great things EA Sports has done with this title but a mix of technical glitches that pull you out of the experience and repetitive build up to fights holds this back from being a great title.
