Great games have a simple concept and message. Don’t Starve will leave you feeling full. [March 2014, p78]
Don't Starve is a tremendously addictive game where the fight for the survival, mixed with exploring several places with its own magic, throw the player into searching every corner of the map. However, it is extremely hard from the very beginning, so there will be many players thinking twice before going on with their adventures.

This dog piss ass stupid **** game ****! I can't even **** the pigs! I also can't **** the robots OR the fish! What the ****?! This game is **** stupid and deserving to be on this **** dog piss pc platform. I bet the creators of the game are **** celibates or something. They're probably thinking of the guy who tried to **** the pigs and laughing his **** ass off! Not cool dude! You should really just **** off and stop laughing at me. If you laugh at me you're a **** ****, which makes this game's creator a price. Do better

Don’t Starve isn’t perfect, but it brings something to the PS4 that is sorely needed. Its addictive qualities keep you playing, forcing you to lose hours of your life to dodging Pig Men, hunting rabbits, and gathering supplies to see how long you can last.

This game is really special to me. I got it with the psn plus just after ps4 lunch. And I have played this game for hundreds of hours. It's amazingly fun. I suggest that you try to learn everything by yourself, you will die several times, but your learn a bit more about the game with every death.

For ages i passed by this game without giving it a second look. I thought to myself it looks boring, a game that never ends( till you die that is) and not worth the 11.99 pounds it was asking. Till it went on offer for the third time and i had nothing else to play so i thought why not and i was amazed how robust this game is, from the gameplay to the story to the art style and the soundtrack. I love the fact that it doesn't give you a tutorial to begin with. You just start off on a randomly generated world and you have to figure out what to do which i liked because i was using my brain instead of the game holding my hand through it. if you like survival games then pick this up its well worth the price of 11.99. I've had more fun with this game than i have with a lot of triple a titles.

It's never stronger than in its opening hours, and if it never quite recaptures that first heady whiff of discovery, it at least keeps you on the edge of your seat thanks to its punishing design, the stakes rising in tandem with your achievements.

The ecological system as well as the crafting are cool, but the need for useless repetition gets on your nerves after a while. Nonetheless you can expect a merciless fight for survival with a captivating art design.

Don’t Starve may make your stomach rumble in frustration if you’re not willing to invest the required time to master its complex systems, but triumph over its crushing difficulty, and you may find a satisfactory dish here.

An interesting stew of ideas and great presentation can’t make up for a game that goes out of its way to frustrate and discourage its players.

This game is fantastic. Beautiful art. The "no directions" design and leaving everything to discover makes a good game. Only lazy people or Intellectually poor don't like this game. The permadeath is fine, being punished for dying is good for a good game. If you don't like dying, better play Prince of persia 2008.

Ottimo survival, particolare e con un proprio stile. Non capisco la separazione del single/multiplayer in due giochi separati e la totale mancanza delle traduzioni che di certo non aiutano un novizio, già alla prese con un mondo non proprio ospitale

Rouge-likes are by their nature very repetitive experiences with death generally meaning starting all over from scratch and, as a result, the game will live or die by how enjoyable its minute to minute gameplay is. In the case of Just Starve I personally found said gameplay too simplistic and reliant on trial and error (particularly early on) and I ended up spending more time being frustrated than I did actually enjoying what I was doing. There does seem to be plenty of depth hidden away within the game and, perhaps given more time, I'd have found it a more rewarding experience but **** does grab my attention after 2-3 hours of playing it I'll move on to something else.

This game needs an appropriate inventory system, and more information about what you have to do or craft or go, without, it doesn't make enough sens to get into it, and cutting a billion trees for hours won't help to think it worth it but makes you think this is another overestimated "'"game?"''.
